I went here to wash my queen size comforter. I was worried at first due to seeing lots of people there, but there was no shortage of open machines. I had trouble loading my card at first, but an employee was quick to show up and quickly helped me. All in all great experience, and less than half the price than the dry cleaners- which is what I've usually done. And much faster!! There are carts to use, and then you load cash or credit onto one of their laundry cards. It costs $.01 for the price of the reloadable card. But I'll be back so I'll keep it safe! read more

I stopped by this place today because laundromats are the only place that have washers and dryers big enough for my winter blankets. Came here on a Sunday and there were a handful of people but did not have any issues finding enough washers or dryers to use. I didn't see any staff or didn't know who the staff were but that wasn't an issue for me because I didn't have any issues or questions. The card machines are right by the front entrance and you can use cash or card. If you only have big bills they also have a machine where you can exchange to $1 and $5s. I use a credit card for my initial purchase and the minimum was $5. I don't think I got charged for getting a card. I think there were 3-4 different washer sizes. I used the 2nd largest one which was $4.80 a load. The biggest one I saw there was about $7.80 a load. The dryers are pretty spacious and are 49 cents per load. Since I was doing blankets I chose the medium heat at first but then I went to high heat because I had to dry the blankets for a second load. There are laundry supplies on site for purchase (I believe it is through card) but I didn't need any so I can't speak to the quality. I also saw that there were bathrooms with a slot for card purchases (I also didn't use), but generally customers just don't close the door so the next person doesn't have to pay. The only complaint about this place I have is that there aren't a lot of places to sit. I didn't mind standing but i can see why this would be an irritant for some people. read more

I've come to this laundromat a few times now and I just have to say it is SO clean. I've gone on a weekend morning and during the week days and it's a large facility so there are always machines. I usually go to wash larger items like blankets so I use the larger machines and it is about $9.50 per load. Drying is $0.45 per 10 min. Everything is with a card you put money on. The bathrooms are nice and clean and depending upon what you choose a load is ~23min and drying depending on you. The people who come are are super nice too, friendly, talkative. I've had a great experience here and hope it continues to keep up the good work and atmosphere. Bonus! If you forget something they have vending machines and there is a Walgreens across the street too! read more

I just moved into the area so I thought I'd give this laundromat a shot. It is a card system, meaning they don't take quarters. You are supposed to get their laundry card and load money into it. If you want to use other settings, like hot water, they charge you more. The dryers are $0.55 for 10 minutes and they barely emit any heat. I do my laundry here all the time. I am very unhappy with them today. I spent $40 on laundry today and I normally fold all my clothes at the laundromat. It is Christmas Eve (yes I have no life). But I did look at the door when I went in to wash at 130 and the only sign on the door said "last wash at 9 pm no exceptions". At 3pm the lady that was wearing the laundry world smock was yelling at me and another gentleman in Spanish. I continued to told my clothes at by 330 the gentleman left and I was still folding and drying my clothes. She started to yell at me in Spanish again. I assume (since the door was locked) that the had closed early with no notice to the patrons. I pulled my remaining clothes out of the dryer and left primary because I was becoming uncomfortable with this woman yelling in my face. So as I write this review my clothes are still wet even after all the money I give this place. Use them with caution. If you don't speak Spanish you will not be able to communicate. And I feel as if the woman could have easily become physically violent with me. And as far as I know they are open until 9pm tonight. I will NOT ever go back. read more

I have not used a laundry mat in years! When our washer broke I visited Laundry World and was super impressed! The employee working helped me figure out the machines and showed me how to use them. He was super courteous and kind! The machines wash well and are very fast 20 min to wash and 20 min to dry! I am impressed and very thankful for the excellent staff that made my day so much easier!!! My go to Laundromat this place is very clean and well taken care of.. the machines are all well maintained and in great condition. The staff is really on top of making sure the place stays super clean. You have to buy a laundry card and everything is bought through that card even the vending machines. The great thing is that there are tons of machines and I have never had to wait. The only weird thing is that you have to use the card for the bathrooms and it's 40cents to use it. I get it though they don't want people just coming in and using the bathrooms and they want to keep it nice. Nicest Laundromat I have ever been to I highly recommend it!! read more

I have been to my share of laundromats, coming from the city and around Wheeling. This is by far the cleanest and well maintained of them all by far! Pretty self explanatory with the card system for using the machines. The dryers are hotter than the usual. I'm guessing because this place is still pretty new that none of the dryers or washers were out of order. I'd think twice about washing expensive items in a commercial washer. At best use the delicate cycle. They are pretty aggressive in general. read more

Love the cleanest place to do my laundry! Disappointed that it doesn't open on time at 6! Been there n waited 20-45 mins for someone to open it up. Today 7/18 I waited till after 6:30am still not open! It's my 4th time that had to wait pass 6am. read more

First time there, had no idea on how to pay for and use the machines the assistant was very patient and explained it all. The only improvement I saw was that the cost of using the washers and dryers be posted. Very clean. read more

It's spotless and it has a good layout. I've been going for a few years and I never have to wait for washers/dryers or a folding section.

2 stars because it's a nice clean place but what a waste of money! 40 cents to use the bathroom, everything is on their cash cards, no prices listed. You feel cheated if you've ever been to an honest quarter taking laundromat but that's just my opinion.... read more

PROBLEM, one of the machines destroyed my $200 mattress pad. Talk to the manager on duty who told me to call the owner. When I explained to the owner, she told me there was nothing she could do and hung up on me mid-sentence. So I spent $30.00 to have $400 worth of damage done to my bedding only to be hung up on by the owner. Before hanging up she did say: "that's your problem." A Malfunctioning machine is not my problem it is hers. I am a business owner, and would never treat a customer this way. I trust that the machine will not get fixed so BEWARE! read more

Went in today. I have a good feeling about this place so I gave it a try. After I enter the place, I felt great, this is how the laundry place should be, neat and clean. Everything look so new and good organized. Except the price on the dryer was a bit too high(45 cents per 10 mins) and was not really affective took me twice as long to dry the same amount of cloth in the other place but I will be back. read more

I have to say that I never thought I would review a laundromat, however this is the nicest place in the area to do laundry. I have been to many laundromats and this is the cleanest, most efficiently machined and has the nicest staff. Last week my husband and I realized we were missing a few items but kind of blew it off. When the attendant saw us this evening, she came over with the items neatly folded and gave them to us. We were really surprised but so grateful! Carmen, the Saturday evening attendant deserves kudos for going above and beyond what her job requires. She is also very personable and a pleasure to talk to. This is our new go to place to do laundry no doubt! The coin-free laundry card is so much easier than having a pocketful of quarters way my jeans down! read more

I really enjoyed this laundry mat. It was very clean and quiet. The first complaint is the fact that you have to use a card for EVERYTHING. If this is your first time here, you'll have to buy a card and put money on it. The second complaint is the drying of your clothes. To use the dryer, it will cost $.049 cents to dry your clothes for 10 minutes and your clothes are not close to dry and the dryer is not hot --even when you press the "hot" button. You have to let your the dryer go for another 20 plus minutes before your clothes are dry. Other than that, I like the laundromat and will be back. read more

It's very clean, very spacious and I think it's easy to use. Not crowded either. The machines are clean and large and dry the clothes quite fast. I'll be visiting often. If you need something, there's management around yet there's no phone number listed for you to call when you're not there. Lots of food machines and nice amenities. A nice experience. read more

Place is clean, stocked with laundry supplies, and plenty of machines . However... i purchased a laundry card for the first time, loaded in 5$, and started a load in a machine that costed 2.49$. I reloaded 5$ more onto the card (which is the minimum to add on which is pretty annoying) and started another load same price. And bought 2 detergents for both loads. so i should have had about 6$ left. i went to the driers to dry my clothes which are 45 cents for 1o minutes which is pretty cool. But it said "insufficient funds". really? so i have to load 5$ dollars on my card just to dry laundry for 45 cents? I checked my card activity and it said "customer started machine 2.49$. customer started machine 1.00. customer started machine 1.00. and so forth ... it was charging me dollars for starting a machine i was already using ?? multiple times ?? It ripped me off . Be careful . Nice place but the laundry cards can really screw you up. id rather pay with coins, the traditional way.never thought id have to pay 15$ for 2 small loads of laundry. read more
