Staff are very helpful & pleasant. Extremely clean and safe ( it's been a long time since I've been to a Laundromat). Equipment is efficient and maintained. Used their model called "The Beast" like my Truck! Definitely coming back when needing heavy duty or when our equipment fails. Cheers and stay clean! read more

Fast Laundry - Laundromat Near Me - Palatine, Illinois

I was lured by the pictures and reviews. But I am a laundromat veteran of late. You walk in through the automatic doors and immediately you are hit with a commode smell. I don't know if the doors are next to a bathroom or if the rugs have been soaked with the scent of Chicago's Montrose park public bathrooms, but it smells. The plusses are the ample parking. You're not going to have any issues finding a nice roomy spot, the lot is yuge. Another plus are the machines and dryers are on the new-ish side. Not too much dryer gunk (chewing gum-like material stuck to the dryer drum). There are a lot of machines, so even if crowded, things can move fast. The reason for the 2 stars are thus: the place is not clean. The floors always have trash. It's not a tidy place. This might be due to the staff who do their best to pretend not to ignore you. They're too busy doing the drop off service that they don't sweep up or help customers. The other bad thing is the DIABOLICAL LAUNDRY CARD. This is a card that you load up with money to use the machines. You have to permanently lose time off your life, TIME that you will never get back, trying to get the card to read on the machine readers. It is extremely oppressive and is designed to make you question the meaning of your life. This laundromat is the equivalent of the egg salad at a gas station. You're hungry and you think you'll be ok. The only reason why I've been here 3 times is because the card has a balance. I refuse to leave a cent to this place, even if the scent it gives me is unpleasant. read more

We have had to go here twice now when our shared apartment laundry failed us, and the staff were so helpful! Even though we weren't there in the best circumstances, the environment and quick cycles on the machines made the experience work for us. Definitely our top choice if we ever need laundry services again. read more

This laundromat is wonderful! Very clean and the associates are very kind. I recommend!

I go here bi weekly or weekly for five years now and it's been a great place to do laundry. The staff are helpful and always doing something. They keep the floors clean and I see them cleaning the machines in slow periods. They do keep raising the prices but with the large machines it's still affordable for now. The dryers are huge and work well plus they have a vending machine and outdoor patio read more

FAST Laundry: Wow, what a great place! Clean, great staff, plenty of machines, now they just need electronic slot games. "Xochitl" and staff have provided us with flawless service, never a lost item, laundry cleaned exactly as we requested and usually done way before promised. It may cost more, but SO worth it, especially after you factor in how much time would be spent otherwise. Today, as always, time is money and if you can afford it, go and pick up your finished clean clothes folded in nice bags and quickly put everything away once you get home. read more

Fast laundry is in the name and it holds true. The employees are also really kind and helpful to newcomers! You have the option of having a laundry card here, and there is also an ATM available. They have all different sizes for their washers and dryers, making it really convenient for when you have to wash large blankets, etc. - the building and machines are also well maintained and kept clean. Would come back here again if I need to. Trust the reviews! read more

!st time visiting a laundry facility in many years. All of the workers were very friendly and helpful when needed. I will be going back until our dryer is repaired. read more

Clean and staff friendly. They can be busy at times but laundry mat laed out nicely.

For how big this laundromat is, these ladies, one in particular, dies an excellent job! I don't always go here because it's far, but when going nearby, I will go. They clean the soap compartments often too! *As with many dryers, though, the managers need to hammer down, or whatever tool they need to use -- the pointy things that stick up in dryers -- that put holes in fabric! Prices and/or dry times (prices) go up too often. read more

I was in need of washing my clothes because there was an issue with my washer at home. I called prior to arriving since it was my first time, and the person on the call answered my questions and told me to stop by for better instructions. There were plenty of parking available and the staff was very friendly in explaining what I needed to do. She also gave a quick tour of various machine sizes I can use depending on the amount of clothes I had, which was helpful. I had to buy a credit-based card and use that to operate the washer and dryer machines. Washing took about 37 minutes and drying took about 20. Overall, the process was very smooth and the facility was clean. I would defiantly come here again and recommend to anyone in need! read more

I needed large washers for rugs--clean with a huge amount of washers. And a super helpful attendant! My loads were dry in two cycles. I'll be back! Bright and light-here is to your success! read more

My washing machine broke. I have some last-minute laundry to do before I leave town. Last time I was in a laundromat, I used quarters. The machines don't take quarters here, and the attendant was very friendly and helped me load up the machine and get it going. Not exactly how I want to spend Friday night, but it all worked out. And I highly recommend this laundromat! Aaron was great . Very helpful, and also can talk sports! read more

They do a great job with washing my laundry and they do not fast. Price is reasonable and the people that work there are always nice.

This has got to be the nicest laundromat I've ever encountered! I'm going to go out on a limb and claim to have been to more laundromats than the average person as I am "on the road" most of the time so the nicest laundromat ever is saying something. I went early in the morning and the place was clean as a whistle and the attendant was super courteous and accommodating this first time visitor. No waits, good air conditioning, plenty of nice new looking machines as well as what I thought were fair prices (card system, no coins) . Plus plenty of flat panels to watch as well as a great setting in a safe neighborhood. I think the most odd thing was they've got a couple huge 100 pound machines. Any hoot I wouldn't hesitate doing laundry here. They also offer wash and fold service 10 pound minimum. read more

Staff was so helpful and kind! Arron jumped right in to helped me out! He took time to show me how to use one of the larger washing machines. He made it a great experience. Additionally, the place is very well organized and clean! read more

Came here and entered before 11pm. Just needed to wash and dry at home, to be told that the machines stop at 11pm. What BS. Don't state that you're open till midnight. Though I was upset with the situation, the owner replied and it was appreciated. The place was very clean and the machines looked to be new and In good working condition. If I need to get some washing done I might give them a chance. read more

I have been coming to this laundromat since they opened. They have a variety of machines and the whole place is very well kept. Fabiola is an awesome employee and engages well with customers and keeps the laundromat clean. Aaron is also another great employee as he is always moving and making sure the laundromat is running smoothly and is very helpful. The owner is humble and sincerely cares about the cleanliness, safety and efficiency of the laundromat and the machines. His customer service skills are amazing. Highly recommend! read more

On 1/4/2022 my washer broke and flooded my home due to a contractor error. I was dreading this laundry task but I had 9 loads to do. I went to this place with lots of wet linens and a sour mood and I was impressed. Clean facility. Many, many options to wash and dry. Machines very clean! What most impressed me is a worker by the name of Aaron. He was friendly- smiling- and engaging. He helped me get a cart and assisted with helping me load my car once I was finished. I will recommend your place to everyone JUST because of this friendly helpful soul. Aaron if you ever read this- you put a smile on my face after a GRUELING and awful crappy day. If Aaron's boss reads this- make sure you put my praises in his HR file! Thank you! Vicki read more

Over the years I've been to several different laundromats to wash comforters; places that were mostly small and not-so-clean. So very happy to have found this one. Very clean and large, lots of different size options for washers. It's nice not to have to use quarters; just a credit card to load a FastLaundry card to use for the washers/dryers. I'll definitely continue to come here. read more

This is a really nice new laundromat with many washers and dryers. The cost of the washer depends on the size of the washer: $2.89, $3.99, $5.09, $6.79, $8.79 or $14.79. The dryer time is purchased in 0.29 cent increments. The washers and dryers all use laundry cards. You load credits onto the card. This facility has wifi. There is a vending machine with detergent, bleach, fabric softener, and laundry bags. There is also a vending machine with snacks and another vending machine with drinks. read more

I've been using Fast Laundry for the past 4 months. On the last trip I made there, I had an issue with a few articles of clothing. The staff promptly followed up with me and mostly rectified the situation. I then received a call from the owner which surprised me. He went out of his way to make the situation right. Their facilities are clean, the staff is quick and the pricing is fair. As with any business, at some point an issue will come up but it's how you make the situation right that shows how good a business really is. 5 stars for their service and how the situation was handled. I'll continue to go back for my laundering needs. read more

I understand that they were closing and all but still they were using pretty harsh chemicals that made the place smell way to strong of all of it honestly couldn't breath and had a headache because of it! The worker kept cleaning right in front of us and also almost made my clothes dirty with all the lint didn't really let me take my clothes out first before doing that ! The least they could do is be more considerate when cleaning when people are around still! read more
