Used to be a decent spot until recently, No soap in the bathroom, pee on the floor with no signs of it being cleaned anytime soon and it costs a quarter?! Pretty sure that isnt legal in small suburban areas.... There was a girl working here a month or so ago who was super pleasant now the girl is kinda clueless and dismissive prob going to find a new place to go or just cave and buy a washer... read more

I use the drop of laundry service here and I love it. The one things if I can change would be the detergent they use. Not sure what it is, but I am not a fan of the smell. The older gentlemen who works there is super nice and my cloths always come out perfect. The price is great too! PROS: Cheap, Fast , friendly Cons: Detergent smell , cash only? (this I'm not sure about) read more

This is the BEST Laundry + laundry service in LA! Friendly staff and 7 days a week service - you're kidding right? NO dropped 28lbs on sat 4pm pickup after 4 on Sunday ! AWESOME - you betcha read more

Great spot. Alittle out of the way for me. Has a card system that is alot easier than juggling quarters. The washers and dryers are clean. The only downside is that their parking lot is small and other customers are very rude. On more than one occasion I have been in the process of backing out when someone block me in. On both occasions they made me wait while they unloaded their car and dropped off their laundry, because they were only going to be a minute. read more

The parking situation was terrible eventough they have their own parking lot in the back. The place is big but alot of their machines are out of order. You have to pay a quarter to use the bathroom. The machine ate my quarter for the bathroom and the employee had no intention of offering me a refund. The prices are higher than most other washing places. You have to buy a laundry card to use the machines. The only plus side was that it is open until midnight which is the reason why I came in the first place. read more

Some of my clothes came out stained from the dryer not sure what was in it . Regardless of that this laundry is pretty much double the price in most machines as other laundromats , which I found not to be worth it at all . It is clean though and well maintained for the most part . read more

I come here to wash bulky items like the dog beds, rugs and comforters. It's decently priced with a few different sized machines to choose from. The private parking lot can be a mess when they are busy and it'll start to look like a losing game of Tetris. Street parking is often full as well. I find that Mondays and Saturdays are often the busiest days. read more

The fluff and fold here is ok The price is average; the service is good when someone is there. A couple of my towels somehow ended up with an orange-ish discoloration. read more

One of the cleanest, nicest laundries around, and now there's a cafe! I do wish the machines did a better rinse - be careful not to over-soap. To pass the time while waiting on the dryer, there's Mignon Chocolate shop two doors down that's good for a treat or a gift box. read more

I dropped off almost 40 lbs of clothes at 11am----they were washed, folded, and sorted by 5pm! The man and woman who run this place were BEYOND friendly and helpful! This place is hassle free and I highly recommend dropping your clothes off here if you HATE having to do your laundry yourself, at 99cents a pound, it can't be beat! read more

Cheap cheap cheap. Just another laundromat. Crowded. Kinda dirty, sometimes, late night employees are rude. Old guy is rude. They use to offer free wifi. Now it's gone. Prices steadily moving up up up. Whatever. I hate Glendale. I heard new laundromat in Atwater is awesome "the laundry room " good reviews. Laundry world does not take credit card !!! Laundry room does. FYI read more

Update: Went back in to get my fluff and fold order, because I found a $2 discount online. Then the employee would not honor the discount. Said they were new owners and I told him and his owner on the phone that they have a discount online and have to honor the discount they said no. $2 for a good customer is not much to ask for the 100s my family has spent there. Do not recommend and will not be back!!!! read more

I am still kitten-punching irate about my experience at this laundromat. This place is expensive. I had a lot of laundry to do (I just moved and hadn't done laundry for over a month, so pretty much everything I own had to be washed), but it cost me $37. Crikey. Small front-loaders are $4-something; medium front-loaders are around $5.25. The small ones didn't hold much more than a normal top-loader, and the medium ones held half again as much. Dryers are priced okay at $.29/10 minutes. My major problem with this place is the employee. All of their signage said the place is open 'til midnight, but at 11:10, when I had several loads still in the dryers, the attendant came over and said I needed to leave. I showed him that my clothes were still drying, and he said he'd give me 5 minutes. I said I'd finish as quickly as I could, but that I wouldn't leave with wet clothes, and I wasn't going to just throw my $37 worth of laundry in my bag and let everything get wrinkled. He didn't care. He came back 5 minutes later. "You need to leave. I need to close." Laundry was still not dry. I gave him the same answer. This happened a couple more times over the next few minutes, until my dryer shut off (clothes still weren't dry), and he came back and said, "Now you have to leave. I have to close. You're just folding now. You can't do that here. I'm going to turn the lights off." Then he stood there staring at me. So yeah, at that point I was sufficiently pissed off and creeped out that I threw my still-damp laundry in my bags and got out of there as fast as I could. I am not a violent person, but it took pretty much every ounce of self-restraint I possess to not slug that guy in the gut. Apparently, you don't come between this girl and her $37 worth of laundry. To top it off, this place requires you to load money on a card and use that in all machines. It's convenient, but if you are enough of a masochist to decide to go here, bring small bills so you can get as close as possible to the amount you need. I still had $3 on my card when I was done, but as I won't be going back, that was lost money. And I was pissed enough to throw the card at the door of the place when I left. (So hey, if you go, look for a card on the ground! You could do ALMOST one load!) Oh yeah, one more thing...they keep the wide doors to the laundromat open, and people smoke right outside, so if you want your clothes to have a faint eau de cigs, this might just be the place for you. read more

Did laundry here today based on the positive reviews. Everything seemed great until I noticed one of my machines seemed to have no soap suds. I checked the machine had not dispensed the detergent from the soap deposit area. I made the attendant aware of the problem and showed him the issue. He kept saying the machine wasn't finished and for me to wait. I showed him my other machines had dispensed the detergent properly. He insisted I wait, so I did. When the machine was done the detergent was still there. I informed him again only to be told I didn't know how to use their machines. read more

I have tried many laundromats in Glendale but none can be compared to Laundry World. I use their drop off service and I must say, I am very pleased with the work they do. My clothes look clean and smell fresh and nicely folded once I take them home. Price is very reasonable and their hours are great , open until midnight. I wish the parking was bigger but I don't mind double parking in their lot , since I am usually there in less them 3 minutes to drop my clothes off. Highly recommended , wish them all the success. P.s workers are very professional and polite. read more

Love this location. The place is always very clean and kept well. I never have to wait to use the machines since there are so many, also I do not have to worry about carrying coins with me because they use a card system which you can load up with cash....so much easier than coins! Also they have a lot of vending machines so you can always grab a snack or drink while you wait. read more

This place is great. The facilities are very clean and well maintained and the people who work here are very nice. I came to drop off fluff and fold laundry slightly for same-day pick up slightly past the cut off time, and the guy working their called his boss to check and see if they could still take it. Lucky for me, they did. It's really nice when people go out of their way for you like that! read more

The lady was nice but she talked too much. I drop my laundry off because my life is full. Please don't waste 10 minutes of my time discussing work/boss drama. They ended up ruining 1 of my shirts... sucks cuz i really liked that shirt. I stopped going there. read more

We've had similar issues with the early-close occurrence. Sometimes, if the place is empty, the younger attendant (son in family?) will close around 10pm. He has hassled my boyfriend about leaving early before. Once, later in the day, I was standing at the dryer and folding clothes into my basket. The younger attendant came down the aisle with a push broom, and made me move so he could sweep where I was standing. He was very rude. But there are always free washers and dryers, even during busy times. The top-loading washers are the best value, if you can get them. The small front-loaders are way more expensive and hold as much or a bit less than the traditional washers. read more

The girl that works here is super helpful and the lace is always clean and bright. Don't forget your supplies because the vending machine prices are high. I come here when I have a lot of large items to wash because I can do so many loads all at once. Saves me from many hours in my laundry dungeon read more

This place is the best drop off place I know of in the area. The price is really reasonable, only costs a bit more than if you did it yourself. And it is always ready the next day. Everyone who works here is really nice. They have great customer service and really go out of their way to help people. read more

Argh, I hate I say it but Yelp has steered me wrong. After reading the positive reviews I called ahead to a) make sure they were open b) make sure they did the fluff & fold service and c) verify the price. I did this as it was going to take me over 20 minutes to drive there but I was spending the extra time since the star rating on here is so high. Well, once I arrived and handed in all my clothing I was informed that there is, in fact, a 10 pound minimum and I had just under 7. They offered me no solution other than suggesting I get a single pillow washed for an additional $8. I said I'd prepay and bring back additional stuff tomorrow but that I really aren't able to drive all the way home and back again. This was not an acceptable arrangement apparently and I was told to just take my clothing and come back if I have more than 10 pounds. Extremely insulting. Even after I politely explained that I called ahead and wasn't informed. Anyone not deterred by poor customer service, maybe this place is for you but honestly my advice is to be careful. read more

Great service and very nice people. Did a drop off and they did a great job. Thanks guys!

Update: After reading my post the owner responded with, "3/8/2017 Thank you for your comments, At laundry World, we go out our way to accommodate our customers with best customer service but unfortunately this can not apply to all. With all respect to you, your cloths very extremely dirty with that said, some of the stain could not be removed, As I explained to you on the phone , how can some cloths come clean and some don't when they all washed in the same load ? And no we never over load our machines because we don't want our machines to break down. Again , please accept our apology and good luck finding a new drop off locations for your laundry needs." --- and I think this is a good example of how he doesn't listen. I told him repeatedly, on the phone, that my clothes were not stained. I was not calling about a stain. I was calling because the clothing didn't smell clean. I work in an office. What I brought to be cleaned were work tops, not construction clothing. His dishonesty is unbelievable. We used to take our laundry there to be washed and folded. It is the strangest thing that some of our clothes come back clean and some look like they've never been washed. I don't understand why my clothes look/feel differently when I wash them versus when they wash them. It only leads me to believe 1. they overload their washers to save time/money and 2. they don't clean all the clothes to make more money from each customer. On top of the inconsistent cleanliness, TWICE have I have come home with someone else's clothes and I've had clothes missing. Why am I coming home with someone else's clothes? Do I have all my clothes? It makes me very nervous/freaks me out a little. The last time I had an issue with this place, I spoke to the owner and he lied and told me he had called and left a message more than a week prior when he had only called a few days before. (Your phones will show you when people call?! Why would he lie?!? So dumb.) He was yelling at me and there was an obvious disregard for customer service. There are a million laundry places in town. Happy to find another. read more

Clean facility, tons of washers/dryers, uses reloadable cards instead of coins and free Wi-Fi!!

This review is for the fluff and fold laundry service specifically. My washer and dryer went kaput, and until some other issues in my house are fixed, I decided not to replace them immediately. But with two jobs, a disability which makes everything take longer, and other responsibilities. Spending even a few hours in a laundromat, even a nice laundromat was just not something I could face doing. So I investigated local fluff and fold services, and found only this one close by. I've never used this type of service before, so I read the reviews about cost and what to expect, and gave it a try. I brought a couple of weeks of washables in, dropped them off on a weekday in early afternoon with the attendant who weighed them, quoted a price (cash only), handed me a ticket showing pick up time a little more than 24 hours later and that was that! Next day shortly after the appointed time I arrived to greet the same attendant who recognized me. I was handed my up two bags of my laundry, handed her my cash and was on my way. Best $15 I ever spent. Laundry was neatly folded and sorted, smelled fresh and clean and but for the idiot who decided to park behind my car on the day I dropped off and then pretended not to hear my pleas that whoever owned the blue SUV please move it, the whole thing would have taken about 10 minutes not counting commute time, but counting loading and unloading my vehicle. So I'm a fan. Maybe I won't replace my washer dryer for a while. My laundry looks a whole lot better than when I do it. Only real negative is that it is a popular place with somewhat limited parking. It's not a tiny lot, but the laundromat is big, nicely appointed and busy so it seems like the lot will pretty much be at capacity most weekends, late afternoons and evenings as people hang out for a few hours doing their own laundry. read more

We have been using the pick up and delivery cleaning service for our show, and the first couple of weeks were perfect. The last couple of weeks, we have been missing items, as in they have not made it back. I call and tell them the specific items that are MISSING as in, I turned them in and they DID NOT come back, and I am told that "the lady said she put them in there". Everytime. They are not. These are costume pieces for a show, very specific pieces that I as well as the rest of the art department will notice if they are not in the show. I am not happy with this service. I'd probably be better off driving 90 lbs of laundry there and washing them myself. -_- Will not be using again. read more

I was nervous about doing laundry here because of so many reviews about broken machines. The only problem I had was one of the dryers not starting. This is my first visit to Laundry World, and I'm sold! I will not be going anywhere else. We just moved to the area, and we were considering buying a small washer/dryer set, but not anymore! The attendant (Adina) was wonderful and walked me thru everything, and gave me tips for which machines to use. They were even kind enough to let me use their change counter, as I had brought a huge bag of loose change with me. I will continue to use Laundry World as long as I am living in the area. read more

They keep the place here pretty clean, which is why I like it. But the last time I was there the vending machine for the detergents literally ate my $20 bill and the attendant would not give me my money back, which wasn't cool. Then right after that, one of the dryers ate my money as well. I like the fact that they use a card system instead of quarters, but I wish the machines accepted credit cards. read more

I don't get what all the fuss is about.. I actually hated this place. Too expensive if you ask me.. And their card machine didn't say anywhere that you can't choose the amount that goes on it.. Whatever cash you put in there to add to the card will remain on the card.. I wasn't planning on making this place my regular place it was just convenient for that day to use but now I have a card with money in it to a place that I will not be going back to. My two small loads of laundry ended up costing $20. Ripoff. read more

Was here a few weeks ago on a Sunday and had a great experience. Really helpful girl working, and the entire time I was there, she was cleaning. Today, on a Wednesday the place is filthy, floors and machines are all dirty. Had to pay 25c to use the rest room and it also left a lot to be desired. Machines are OK, but I was afraid to put my clothes down on any surface for fear of making them dirty again. read more

This place i would give it a 7/10 but the workers here are full of attitude. However i walked in, asked nicely if the machines on the other side were in use and she screamed " I AM DOING LAUNDRY", said this lady that works here and i guess does the laundry that people drop off here. The whole entire time she was giving dirty looks, if we are ur customers for over 10 years, at least show some kind of respect. Never coming here again, i don't recommend this old garbage! read more
