OVERPRICED SLOPPY BULL New Era Dry Cleaning completely ruined my fiancé's suit. This place has absolutely no business offering tailoring services. They promised a specific completion date and still took over a week and a half. No communication, no urgency, no professionalism. Then they had the nerve to charge $100 for what turned out to be some of the worst tailoring I have ever seen in my life. Instead of properly shortening the sleeves like a real tailor, they took the laziest, most amateur shortcut possible. They literally folded the sleeve inward and stitched it. Because of this, they destroyed the original sleeve structure and button design. What was once a properly tailored suit with multiple button slits was reduced to ONE sloppy, butchered slit. The buttons were overlapped, crooked, and misaligned. It looked cheap, rushed, and careless. The pants were just as bad. They were supposed to be shortened evenly, yet they came back at completely different lengths. When we pointed out their mistake, they actually suggested that maybe my fiancé has two different leg lengths. Instead of admitting their incompetence, they tried to blame the customer. That was beyond insulting. When my fiancé confronted the owner, Eileen, she took ZERO accountability. No apology. No refund. No credit. Nothing. Just constant excuses and defensive nonsense to protect her "tailor." That tells you everything you need to know about how this business operates. We took the suit to a real professional tailor afterward, and even he was shocked. His exact reaction was that the work was horrendous, sloppy, and lazy. He had to undo their mess and redo everything properly. This was not a minor mistake. This was pure incompetence and disrespect for the customer's time, money, and clothing. Do yourself a favor and never trust New Era Dry Cleaning with anything you care about. I wouldn't let them touch a suit, a dress, or even a basic hem. We will never return, and I will actively warn everyone I know to stay far away from this place. read more

I have not had anything dry cleaned in years, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I took in 2 dresses and one of them had a few spots and a flaw/small hole. The person at the counter pointed them out to me and marked them with tape. I thought it was more like when you take a car, they tell you where the dings are so you don't blame them later. The other dress just needed laundering. When I got the dresses back, the one that had the flaw and small hole was fixed!! The flaw was gone and the hole, if you didn't know it was there, you wouldn't know. They did a wonderful job. Where do I begin... I walked in thinking its located in the upper scale area of Glendale therefore they must cater to demanding clients, service will be good. The girl at the counter questioned very piece of clothing. She asked if I was sure I wanted to leave my beaded dress, guess that should've been a red flag. Clearly she didn't understand label, the dress was wore once & had cake over it, of course I wanted it cleaned. I dropped off the clothes on a Wednesday night & it wouldn't be available until Monday after 5pm. The total was $99.75 for a few items which I thought was ridiculous. When I came home, all of my silk shirts had the same stains I took it in to be cleaned. My fascia shorts are faded. I called back the following day several times, the owner is yet to call me back. The reviews below are not accurate. Tailoring is not easy especially jeans. Dry cleaning is never perfect no matter where you go. I work in the customer service and you can't satisfy everyone. But the service is good. I lost 30 lbs and it was either buying a brand new wardrobe of suits for work or have them altered. Susan did an amazing job. Saved a fortune! And if an expert tells you that it is recommended to dry clean rather than launder is not an up sale. If an expert makes a suggestion it is because from their experience and knowledge.
