OVERPRICED SLOPPY BULL New Era Dry Cleaning completely ruined my fiancé's suit. This place has absolutely no business offering tailoring services. They promised a specific completion date and still took over a week and a half. No communication, no urgency, no professionalism. Then they had the nerve to charge $100 for what turned out to be some of the worst tailoring I have ever seen in my life. Instead of properly shortening the sleeves like a real tailor, they took the laziest, most amateur shortcut possible. They literally folded the sleeve inward and stitched it. Because of this, they destroyed the original sleeve structure and button design. What was once a properly tailored suit with multiple button slits was reduced to ONE sloppy, butchered slit. The buttons were overlapped, crooked, and misaligned. It looked cheap, rushed, and careless. The pants were just as bad. They were supposed to be shortened evenly, yet they came back at completely different lengths. When we pointed out their mistake, they actually suggested that maybe my fiancé has two different leg lengths. Instead of admitting their incompetence, they tried to blame the customer. That was beyond insulting. When my fiancé confronted the owner, Eileen, she took ZERO accountability. No apology. No refund. No credit. Nothing. Just constant excuses and defensive nonsense to protect her "tailor." That tells you everything you need to know about how this business operates. We took the suit to a real professional tailor afterward, and even he was shocked. His exact reaction was that the work was horrendous, sloppy, and lazy. He had to undo their mess and redo everything properly. This was not a minor mistake. This was pure incompetence and disrespect for the customer's time, money, and clothing. Do yourself a favor and never trust New Era Dry Cleaning with anything you care about. I wouldn't let them touch a suit, a dress, or even a basic hem. We will never return, and I will actively warn everyone I know to stay far away from this place. read more

Great service, friendly staff. Quality work, convenient location with ample street and adjacent, contiguous parking.

Excellent, professional service. Soo is a wonderful seamstress and has tailored multiple dresses and pants for me.

Fast and reliable service. I bring my designer clothes in and completely trust them. Love coming here and would recommend to anyone!

For decades I have brought my clothes and my folks clothes to New Era Cleaners. They do excellent work and take care of your clothes!

I have not had anything dry cleaned in years, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I took in 2 dresses and one of them had a few spots and a flaw/small hole. The person at the counter pointed them out to me and marked them with tape. I thought it was more like when you take a car, they tell you where the dings are so you don't blame them later. The other dress just needed laundering. When I got the dresses back, the one that had the flaw and small hole was fixed!! The flaw was gone and the hole, if you didn't know it was there, you wouldn't know. They did a wonderful job. I will most definitely go back if I need any dry cleaning or any other service they offer. Well worth the money! read more

I have been looking for a new dry cleaning service for months and I'm so happy to have found new era cleaners. I dropped off a few blouses, tweed skirts and jackets, and needed sewing for a rip in one of the jackets after reading so many wonderful reviews on this place. They did a fantastic job On all the pieces and I am so happy to say I'll be a returning customer. The tweed pieces are designer so I was pretty nervous of taking them somewhere new but she did a Beautiful job and I feel comfortable taking even my most expensive pieces here. read more

Came in with an emergency of my tux button haven fallen off that I needed within 2 hours for an event. Marsayella helped me out so quickly that I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. She was so kind and I will absolutely be returning because of her service and will be bringing my garments here from now on. The little things make all the difference. I use yelp a lot but rarely ever leave a review and I had to take time to write this as I appreciated this so much. An awesome small business that is lucky to have a seamstress like herself. read more

I've been coming here for about 18 months now and have only positive things to say. Their prices are reasonsable. They give great care to my garments. And they manage to get my whites extremely white. Things I really appreciate are: - They do not staple your clothes. They only staple through the ticket - They do not write on your clothes (yes this has happened to me in other places) - Light starch on men's shirts is usually spot-on. I'll definitely keep coming back. read more

I've been using New Era for all my dry cleaning needs for the past 8 years, mainly my husband's dress shirts and my special occasion dresses. The lady at the front has always been friendly and kind. Got my stains out and had my pants ready within a few days. The woman who is there all the time is so sweet too! Definitely coming back.

Where do I begin... I walked in thinking its located in the upper scale area of Glendale therefore they must cater to demanding clients, service will be good. The girl at the counter questioned very piece of clothing. She asked if I was sure I wanted to leave my beaded dress, guess that should've been a red flag. Clearly she didn't understand label, the dress was wore once & had cake over it, of course I wanted it cleaned. I dropped off the clothes on a Wednesday night & it wouldn't be available until Monday after 5pm. The total was $99.75 for a few items which I thought was ridiculous. When I came home, all of my silk shirts had the same stains I took it in to be cleaned. My fascia shorts are faded. I called back the following day several times, the owner is yet to call me back. I'd def stay away from this place. read more

I have been a customer at New Era cleaners for close to 4 years. Susan has been a gracious front desk greeter and the dry cleaning service has always been above standard. Thanks, Wil read more

The reviews below are not accurate. Tailoring is not easy especially jeans. Dry cleaning is never perfect no matter where you go. I work in the customer service and you can't satisfy everyone. But the service is good. I lost 30 lbs and it was either buying a brand new wardrobe of suits for work or have them altered. Susan did an amazing job. Saved a fortune! And if an expert tells you that it is recommended to dry clean rather than launder is not an up sale. If an expert makes a suggestion it is because from their experience and knowledge. Rarely have I had a problem because they're honest with me. read more

I was introduced to New Era by my dad who has been going there for years now. As soon as I got my new job and was required to wear a suit and tie, this location was convenient and close to my house and right near the freeway so an easy pick up before or after work. This place is great, yes, as all the other reviews say, it's pricey but well worth it. Susan, I think she is the owner, is very friendly and is quick to have your clothes ready and always treat your clothes right. I've been going there for about 4 years now, and everything I have sent there has come back looking perfect. If you live in the Glendale area, I highly recommend it. read more
