Scheduled for 7-9am they didnt come until 10:30ish -drop off was also late was scheduled for 7-9am and didnt show up until 11am. - I weighed out the bag before pickup and it was 20lbs but i was charged 24 lbs when it got to them. I called and the manager told me that a few pounds isnt a big deal and i have to trust them and accept it. - i asked that only my 5xl shirts be hang dry but my wife's shirts didnt need to be. I had 5 shirts but in the end they charged me for 12 shirts because they did mine and hers hang dry. When i mentioned it again they said it is not their job to pay attention to the details and i should be thankful that they washed and folded my clothes. - $2lb is the most expensive place locally but this had good reviews so i thought it would be worth it but it was mediocre service. Overall it was nice having someone do my wash and folded but not with the overcharging and underwhelming service. I will be looking elsewhere.

I just disputed the charge with my credit card company and they were able to block the charge. I ordered from them once in October 2018, and I cancelled my order because no one would give me a delivery time estimate. They said someone would call me with a more precise time, but they didn't. So I told them I was not going to wait at home for an 11-hour pick-up window, and cancelled it. It wasted my time trying to set it up and trying to pin down a time unsuccessfully. Then they tried to guilt and shame me, to get me to remove my review, and said "you say your a life coach think about what you have done with your dumb review on yelp that makes no sense" My review did make sense. I felt bad for them however, I thought maybe something happened in their lives and it wasn't normally that bad? So I did take down the review, even though everything I said was true. I decided just to let it go and removed it. Only to be charged $250 5 months later. If you've ever used them, check your credit card statements to make sure they didn't falsely charge you.

Once the change in management happened, the customer service has gone down. Though it is a low cost option, it doesn't need to treat its customers in the way they do. When there is issues with the laundry or payment, the store refuses to call they have the driver call with half the information. If you are bold enough to take the customers' money, you should be equally as bold to call the customer if their an issue. This is not how you do business. Especially one who has stood by the business through their transition. The worse if it is the person they have answering the phones doesn't even know how to explain the situation either. They don't do payments and it is someone else who does it. Its very frustrating when the service you are paying your money to complete a task doesn't know how to communicate to their clients. That is bad business practice.

They provide a 1.5-hour window for pickup and delivery but are consistently 2 to 3 hours late, making it impossible to plan around, especially if you need to go to work. They often call 10 minutes before arriving telling you they are at your door--if they have the correct address at all--which means you have to wait outside. Even if you're forced to take a work-from-home day because of their delays, the first few hours are still highly disruptive. On top of that, they have lost my laundry before and now rarely answer calls or texts. I used to love the convenience of this service, but unfortunately, I won't be using them again. On January 30, 2026, I lost my phone, debit card, and laundry card so I had to used them more particularly during this time. Life stressors, with the loss of my full-time job and taking my board exam, and studying, I was struggling with managing everything and renovating my burnt down apartment which all were highly stressful situations and a breakup as well. I was and I am highly impacted mentally and financially related to this company. With all proven factors above, I reached out to 5 boro laundry and the company customer via their website labeled contact us. I received not one response at all. service person. The laundry in question was to clean sheets, comforter, clothing via their app which is usually the way to make my order. MY clothing was returned damaged. I reached out many times on their website listed on Google which d States to contact them via email phone and voicemail and I tried all avenues with no response, related to my laundry issue. I didn't hear back from management, but when we finally spoke, he hung up on my claiming he was called into a meeting, but he called me back on Saturday, a say I work and I didn't respond. When I answered his call eventually, he claimed he called me and I didn't answer and that he cannot access email or voicemail, so he didn't receive anything. He then stated, Ouida you wrote a scathing review on Google and yelp. Then he went on to say, you had 38 orders with us since 2020, and we always provided the greatest service. He also stated that you had money in your pockets that we returned to you and that i wrote a thankful review. So, he seemingly was justifying my damaged clothes with him returning money from my pockets that I was not aware of. He then stated you gave us 38 lbs. (referring to damaged bag) I said to him I gave you the damaged clothes (12 lbs. of said laundry). I responded saying, I sorted most of the laundry in my drawers, so I gave the most damaged items. He then says you paid 57 dollars for 38 lbs. not 12 lbs. So, he says, why complain about damaged laundry if you don't send all the laundry. So, I said are you insinuating that I burnt my college logos where the pockets can't open, my sheets and pillowcases shrunk, where I cannot put my pillows in, my clothing destroyed based on giving you 12 lbs. verses 38 lbs. He claimed I didn't call him back even though as we were talking, he hung up on me claiming he is understaffed. And 2 days ago, I get a charge of 28 dollars for them washing the damaged cleaned clothes that was for damage assessment. So, they charged me for cleaning the clothes that are being assessed for damage. When I spoke to Kevin, the customer service person on Friday 4 3 26, he stated he was not aware of this charge and because i had a pending order they charged .e for the pounds assessed. In addition, when I made any order on the i cloud app, since using the app, I would always give a 5-dollar tip, the driver tells me he never received not a single tip that I provided when I requested any new order on the app, more deception, fraud and theft. I also give my clothes with every order using my 5 boro laundry bag which I bought in 2021 during covid, so not only did all of the above happen. My alleged cleaned damaged clothing was rewashed damaged and were returned in someone else's black laundry bag with holes at the bottom. I have proof of the damages the charges and re charges for re washing the accessed damaged clothes that were rewashed and probably re-damaged. I also did not receive those clothes that was given for assessment since 3 7 2026. The clothes in question are still not returned to me and in the company's possession. I spoke to them again on 4.8 2226 and they spoke of no compensation. And the way of the world and trying to survive. It is what it is. I don't even know what to say anymore. I'll take those clothes and figure it out. They said We will deliver your clothes by Friday.
