Wow! I'm so disappointed and disgusted with this place. There's no words to describe this how upset I am. We did our laundry and left for a few minutes came back and somebody took all of our clothes out of the washer and into dirty trash bags. Half of my clothes are missing. We can't find another bag full of towels. They said there's a sign but I don't see a sign anywhere and I don't respect people touching my stuff. One of the staff member was nice enough to help us. Otherwise, the onlookers were also rude. Not to mention, I saw a homeless guy come in with his dirty clothes and washed it in the sink and dried it in my one of the dryers. If you don't want your clothes to be contaminated and end up dirtier. I'd say, save your money and go some where else! Dirty, unsanitary and no respect for other people's belongings. read more

This is the WORST laundromat I have ever been subjected to. It's tiny, it doesn't take coins, its card system doesn't work! I put $10 on the card, and after $5 it didn't work any more. The card machine is right next to the door, and people crowd in and out, jostling and bumping each other. It was horrible. read more

Last wash at 11 pm. Easy card system instead of quarters. Clean and efficient. Neighborhood is nice n quiet. A cute girl Gaby that works there made sure my first experience there was perfect. Honestly I liked this place at first, and now everytime I go I have an issue. It's always so busy and people are inconsiderate and rude, but that's not the stores issue, just an opinion. Anyway, the card system sucks becaause of the machines being an uneven amount, forcing you to either lose money or keep returning and always having an uneven amount left on your card. It's honestly ridiculous. Also, the change maker doesn't work so if you only have a 20 dollar bill, you have to put the whole thing in your laundry card. So props to the business for being so sneaky and swiftly stealing money. Also, the card machine won't take quarters just dollar bills. It's a scam. Thanks anyways, I took my business back to the hood where even though there's a man smoking a cigarette indoors, it's a much more honest place to be. Never ever going back to this place. read more

First time washing at this laundromat and it's been the worst experience ever!!! All of the washers and I mean all leave the loads extra damp!! It was crowded but the crowd was flowing. I had no problems getting available washers and dryers. Loved the $3.50 washing machines (variety and NOT scummy) and the place was decently clean for a laundromat. I'll be back!!! read more

I'm docking Laundreworks one star because although this is definitely the nicest laundromat you'll find, the last time I was here, there was a show on (one of those Jerry Springer type shows) and the title of the episode was "You molested that girl...I saw the picture!" and was about a female accusing her boyfriend of child molestation. There were children all around the laundromat, many of whom their moms speak only Spanish and presumably did not know what their child was watching. I called the laundromat to complain and they were very nice about it. I hope they put more family-friendly television on considering the fact that the majority of patrons bring their young children with them. read more

It was great to be welcomed by the the woman who was attending and maintaining the laundromat clean and tidy. She knew I was new client, and happily assisted me with their card system.I love that it is not coin-op machines, and enjoy the overall environment of the place. I hope the owners will keep it good shapes for months to come. I wish people weren't so greedy with the rolling laundry baskets (a rule one for family or group). The machines were efficient, and washed my clothes well with no hitches. I do find the pricing of wash is a tad bit more expensive than traditional coin-op laundromats, it's not to bad to spend about $5.00 every two weeks to do two loads of medium size laundry loads...I highly recommend this place. read more

Worst laundromat ever!!! Prices are cheap but it needs cleaning, I needed to wipe my own counters I could barely walk in there and the laundromat carts are too too small. I needed a card to use the machines which that is okay but to register it was a nightmare. I had to type in my name and email it was so hard to type the keys I must have enter the letters 5 times each and I have been typing for 30 years it was ridiculous. read more

Nice and clean. Washers and dryers are well maintained. Typical for a laundromat to have other people let their kids run wild, so work on your dodging skills before coming here. Change machine doesn't always work so bring loose bills or load your card with a $20.00, upside, you'll get an extra $2.00 on your card. Oh, btw, it opens at 5:00am not 7:00am as listed. read more

This is one of the nicest laundry mats in Alhambra, but it's probably because it's newer compared to the other places. I love the fact that you don't need to hoard all your quarters just to do laundry. The machines don't use coins, but a card. To get a card, you will need to go to the ATM like machines in the back. The instructions to the card machines are in English, Spanish and Korean. To obtain your card, you have to put $5 (use exact amount because the machine does not give change) into the machine and out pops a card that you can use at the center with a $5 credit. The large capacity machines are at the front of the store and there's plenty of small & medium washers. There are 4 large capacity dryers to the right of the entrance and plenty of regular dryers that line the sides of the place. It's clean and they are opened late. Pretty nice. This laundry mat is open 7am to Midnight Monday through Sunday. read more

It's been a while since I've given anything 5 stars and it may seem odd to give it to the local laundromat but there is good reason for it. 4 stars for being a clean place with good machines that are always available and get my stuff clean. 5 stars because I went in after 5 days on Ambien which has made me a bit forgetful. I left after the laundry was done, got gas, went home and realized I forgot my Kindle. I went back but it had been 20 minutes and my Kindle was no where to be found. I hadn't seen any employees before nor now so I figured my little device was long gone and I was out $120. The next morning I decided to call Laundreworks direct and ask if anyone turned it in. A long shot with hopeful thinking. They did a three way call and yes it was in the office and I could come get it! My faith is humanity is slightly improved (for the day). Now I am also compelled to stay loyal to Laundreworks for as long as I live in Alhambra. read more

I had to was our comforter and thought I would follow up on the recommendations. This place is clean and unique with using a card only. You are limited to purchasing on a card and may be left with cash on it, but if you use semi regularly it really doesn't matter as the cards don't expire. The machines are newer and the place is kept clean. I definitely recommend this place for a clean and non coin fumbling experience. read more

Clean laundromat! The dryers cost 30 cents/10 minutes but appears to be much warmer than other laundromats I've been too. They have a card system- does not take coins. No cost for a card, but to obtain one you must initially put in $5. Won't let you use a $10/$20 bill the first time. 2 nice flat screens TV, usually one is playing a Spanish telenovela and another is something in English. Has its own parking lot and plenty of street parking. read more

Nice place. There is always an attendant here. They are always wiping stuff down, sweeping, etc. They keep the place tidy and everything running. You can change bills for smaller ones. And the machines are run using a loadable card. No need for quarters! I can do the equivalent of 8-9 loads in an hour and half, including folding. We have laundry in our building, but I still come here. The clothes seem cleaner and the price is pretty reasonable. It's $1.65 for 1 load, $1.95 for 2, $3.50 for 4, etc. The dryers are $0.30 for each 10 minutes. They have 2 flat screens if you need entertainment. It feels safe and I even bring my kids. read more
