Have been here few times. This is my first time since the name change. I did come on a Sunday, so wasn't expecting a huge crowd for these hours. The beer is on point. Everyone knows the Pomona Queen. I really like the Runway IPA and the Hop Pun. If you're into IPA's these are tasty. The atmosphere is cool. They have a cute porch area with lights. And a pretty big inside. Sometimes live music. Whoever designed the interior and exterior of this place did a great job. Sit outside on the patio with the smells of a BBQ trailer wafting at you from the parking lot, inside by the taps to make sure you're close by for quick refills, or in the brewery area where corn hole and life-size Jenga await. I am not saying that's the only reason to check this place out but it made it a memorable spot. The beer is the real reason to go. If you're down to get hoppy, the Runway IPA is good. It's on the maltier side but still pretty tasty. The mango shandy was interesting and tasty. I'm not usually into fruity beers but the mango was a good change from orange peels and lemon heffs. The people filling the pints were working hard. Their was a birthday party, balloons and all, on the patio. They had a full spread. Best 40th party ever! I think I'm going to copy the idea. Local brewery with BEER! That's right, BEER! crazy. Food trucks are not there every day. You can order for delivery if you're hungry. ($13-15 for a large with wings/x-large) Takes about 20-25 minutes but you can fill up with beer in the meantime. Drinks have great prices ($6-9) with a good amount of selections. Flights go for $7. It is wonderful to see craft beer flourishing in the Inland Empire and I am glad that there are a couple of breweries that are close to my boyfriend's place. One of these breweries is Dale Bros Brewery, which is best known for its Pomona Queen beer! Located in Upland, Dale Bros Brewery can be difficult to find at first. However, you will see that once you find the place, plentiful parking is available followed by an outside patio area that will soon open to the public! When you enter inside, you will see friendly staff greeting you, tons of tables and bench seats, flat screen TVs to watch sports and entertainment, and plenty of beer to go around! Furthermore, there is always a food truck present during the weekend, which adds a nice touch of food to go along with the beers! I had the flight for 4 beers ($7) while my boyfriend enjoyed his special brew of Mango IPA! Surprisingly, this delicious beer tasted sweeter than a regular IPA due to the mango flavor! Been coming here for years and seen the ups and downs. I do enjoy coming here, the atmosphere is normally great. I have been here recently and my service and beers were great! My only complaint is some guy with cornrows who works there. He's rude and seems very slimy especially when talking to women. I don't know why he thinks he's better than everyone else who goes there (except the pretty young women) but he needs an attitude adjustment. I am very happy that the quality of the beers went up! I stopped by here on a Friday evening at about 8 pm. It wasn't too crowded. It only took a couple of minutes to order our drink and find a place to sit. They had a live band inside, and some picnic tables outside with a food vendor. We chose to sit outside because the music was too loud to have a conversation. It can get a bit cold, so be sure to take a sweater. The beer is good, and they have a large selection to choose from. By 9 pm the line to order a beer was out the door and a good 10-15 minute wait. read more

I like this place, but I find it a tad bit overrated compared to other local breweries. I got the Groupon deal that was fifteen dollars for two beers and two collectible pint glasses, and it was a decent deal. I got the Mango Shandy with the glass, and got a flight that included a few varieties of their more popular beers. My personal favorites were the Mango Shandy and the Sour Cranberry. The Winter Haze was also delicious, along with the famous Pomona Queen. I honestly wasn't impressed with the Runway, though it's mostly because I prefer dark beers. Everything did seem to be a bit weak and watered down as other critics have pointed out. The flights are only seven dollars for four 2.5 oz samplers, and it is a good deal. No food is served here, but you can bring your own. They had a few vendors outside selling delicious sandwiches, and I heard during the weekends they regularly have food trucks in the parking lot. My biggest complaint, and while it may seem minor to a lot of people was kind of a deal breaker for me. While my uncle and I were enjoying our beers, there were several children running around and making a ruckus. I don't really understand why people bring their children considering breweries are an adult oriented activity. We wanted to come here to enjoy some good beer, enjoy our food and have a good conversation, but we ended up having to repeat ourselves a lot because of all the noise. It was a less than stellar experience. Why can't people just leave the rugrats at home? I'll come back when they have an event, since they seem to hold quite a bit of them. I visited this brewery for the first time on Saturday evening. It had a great crowd there. I really liked that they had a inside seating area and an outdoor seating area. It is dog friendly and family friendly. I tried the cream ale and it was okay. If you check in on yelp they give you a free sticker. They have a cute logo too. Service was average. What I really didn't like was that they only have 2 single stall restrooms with very long lines and they were very dirty! They should definitely be cleaned more frequently. read more

Sometimes, you just want a good brew. And Dale Brothers delivers that. I have to admit from the outset, I'm not a huge IPA fan. That said, Dale Bros. has the only IPA I -will- drink, a mango offering which has great fruity overtones. My personal favorites so far are their standard Pomona Queen, which is a good lager-style; their California Black Beer, which is my husband's favorite, and three of their seasonals: their Dude of York (a nice, nutty English brew that shows up on their menu right after the supply of Shameless McDale runs out), Badlands Porter (a rich and surprisingly smooth porter offering that has a good complex flavor, and is apparently a winter-to-early-spring offering), and their Shameless McDale (an Irish red, only available for about a month or so in mid-to-late March/early April). Pints typically run $4, with the occasional slightly-higher price for some of their barrel-aged brews (try the Bl'Oak if you like their California Black Beer; it's that black aged in a whiskey barrel and is incredibly complex). They have both growlettes and growlers availble, but let me clue you in; if you're the type who likes to take a little something home with you, after you've finished your tasting, opt for the full-sized growler as it's the best deal. They run $20, and refills of their standard offerings (and most seasonals while they're available) are around $10. For those with more esoteric tastes, they tend to experiment heavily with their barrel-aging, and they come up with a few small-batches that are also of interest. Aging happens in both wine and whiskey barrels normally, and if you want something unusual, hit up their pinot Pomona Queen when it's available. They also play with the sours on occasion -- so far my favorite of those options was a sour cherry Pomona Queen which had that tartness one can only associate with a tangy bing cherry riding strongly overtop of the signature brew's flavor. If you're an IPA fan, there's that mango I've already mentioned, but they have their Runway IPA as a standard year-round option as well. And finally, if you're feeling experimental, try one of their blends. Dude of York blends marvelously with the California Black to make what they call "Dude of Darkness", and that's one of my all-time favorites. (I'm also fond of a half-and-half blend of their Badlands Porter with the Mango IPA when both are available, which is not as often as I'd like.) There's a plentiful supply of other blends, and they mix on demand, so if you want, you can whip up a custom combination quite easily. Tasters are $2, or you can get a flight of four for I think $7, so if you're not sure what you want, you can sip your way through their selection. Wednesdays through Saturdays, they have assorted entertainment options, and Fri/Sat they tend to have food trucks or small food booths drop by. And Saturday afternoon, you can take the tour of their brewery and get a little hint of how all this comes together. By far, this is my favorite brewery in the area. And it's well worth a visit. read more

The staff is so friendly and is always willing to strike up a convo and offer a suggestion for a beer to try. Then there are the nights (almost every night) when they have someone cater for them... omg! The last time I was fortunate enough to eat here it was hand made sausages on fresh bakes rolls with coleslaw @_@... mind blown. For a brewery, dale brothers is definitely doing it right. This microbrewery is awesome! The place is not too big but their beer is great (and that's what really matters). I came on a Sunday after noon and they had a food vendor selling BBQ. The staff is very friendly and can point you in the right direction if you need a little advise on what beer to try. I am assuming it's a dog friendly environment because the day I went there were three dogs in there, they all had leashes, were very friendly and were next to their owner. This place wasn't that good, the beer wasn't the best, and they were expensive. We had the Groupon deal for 1 beer each and we got to take home the glass. This place is hidden right by the airport in the back by a black food truck outside. As soon as we walked into the place we noticed a foul (eggy) odor smell that was pretty bad the entire time and it never went away. We went to two other brewery's that day and none of them smelled bad at all so it shouldn't be from the brews. The gentlemen in the front was nice and he explained the beers to us. I got the creamy something (the lightest one) and my fiancé got the second to lightest one. Mine tasted literally like water. There was no taste at all and was super light. Her beer tasted sweet with an awful after taste to it. We sat at a bench which was pretty crammed for your legs and close to others which was okay. Someone brought their dog in so I guess it's okay to bring pets in, good to know. We got hungry so we looked at the outside food truck menu and it was extremely expensive. $17 for a burger made in a food truck??? We got the cheapest item, the cajon fries which were still $7.50 which is outrageous. Not to mention I had to stand outside in the cold for, I saw the fry cook open a frozen bag and fries and dump them in. Had to wait about 20 min outside because I was waiting for change and there were a few other guys ahead of me. I walked all the way in the back while balancing my fries ranch and ketchup. Before we left I used the restroom. The floor was sticky throughout the place and the restroom floor had urine all on it so you had to step in urine. Where there were cracks they places stickers over them to cover them up. An employee was turning on gas tanks in the back and they weren't connected to anything...hopefully that wasn't the smell and that everyone in there are safe to be as they were not connected to anything... won't be returning here but thanks for the glasses! read more

We came here because we previously tried the Pomona queen at The Press in Claremont. We liked it so much the waitress told us about the brewery. We got here about s half hour before they stop serving at the tasting room. The place was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. There was one food truck out side "corazon azul" we did not get to try it since we at dinner easier. The exterior is very pretty. They have lights about the patio entrance. Inside is the tasting room and all the staff if very friendly. We ordered the Pomona queen but would like to try others when we have more time. Inside there is the factory and they have more seating and games. They also have indoor bathrooms and poryopotty outside. They do not serve food besides the food truck out side of there's one there but they do slow outside food. It's a very relaxed environment and would live to come back. Btw they stop serving beer at 9 but do not lock you out at 9. read more

I have been meaning to come check out Dales Bros Brewery for a few months now and finally got the chance to check it out last night. Let me tell you, it was worth the wait. The set up of the brewery was very nice, with a friendly atmosphere of people, good music and good beer. You first walk up to a nice patio set up with plenty of sitting or standing room to talk with friends, meet people and enjoy your beer. The inside of the brewery was equally inviting. I make it a point to try flights when ever its my first time at a new brewery, just to get a well rounded taste for what they offer. My first flight consisted of California Black Bear, Pomona Queen, Mango Shandy and Habanero IPA. The first two were good but the stars were the Mango and the Habanero. The Habanero had a nice wheat IPA mixed taste with a noticeable bite to it thanks to the pepper but not enough to make you want to put it down. The Mango was my favorite sweet, wheaty, fruity and delicious. The second flight I had consisted of Shot in the Dark, Mango (yes again), Badlands (at 8.5%apv) and the Bl'oak. The Bl'oak had a slight whiskey / bourbon flavor to it which was different but nice. The Badlands is 8.5% apv but didn't even taste that strong and goes down smooth. And of course there's that Mango again! The only thing missing from this place was a kitchen, but they did have a food stand in the back which was perfect. I went for the pulled chicken slider with potato salad and it hit the spot just right. For having to wait this long it was worth it. I will be making Dales Bros a regular spot for my drinking in the future, everything just felt right. read more

Reserved a keg of Pomona Queen a week in advance for my party. Went to pick it up the day of my party, as told.... and they had no keg for me!! They never even took my order down. I wish I would have gotten the guys name on the phone but we had an entire conversation and he confirmed he had my order down for June 11 , 12pm pick up. Again, when we got there to pick it up, they had NO keg for us! This was the beer supply for a very big party! I was left standing there, scrambling to find a keg that I could order at the very last minute. Ended up having to drive across town and double the price than what I gad budgeted for. I can't go more than a few days without visiting Dale Bros. It's in a business park off the beaten path, but they have signs along Foothill Blvd. to make navigating the place easier. The guys who work here are really nice and help you decide on what beers work for you. They have events on certain nights (painting, trivia, etc.) and food trucks are there often. However, my favorite thing is that I can bring my own food. I find that if I'm not eating while I'm drinking, I'll fill up on beer too fast. Good thing or bad thing? Depends on the night. So if you aren't feeling the food truck parked outside you can bring in some In-N-Out or pizza to grub on while you wash them down with Dale Bros' beers. Oh, and bring your scrabble or cards and let the drinking games commence! read more

You can get a chance to meet one of the Dale brothers unlike many places. It is a bit hard to find them. They are just east of McArthur street. It is the buildings with the big black numbers. The front starts with the 100ths. They are toward the back. If you haven't tried one of there brews you get a chance to try one and make your decision if you like it. Then the guest behind me asked for e refund and was given attitude and told he was lucky they would refund his money.
