My wife just had Lasik done here yesterday evening. It went great and today she is able to see better then ever and has no pain!!!! The nurses and doctors were all great. I can't say enough about how amazing the staff at Lasik Plus are. I have extreme anxiety, and not matter what anyone said my anxiety would not go away. However as soon as I got to the office today Dr Whiteside and his staff really put my nerves at ease. The procedure took around 10 min, which of course when your sitting there took forever, but Dr Whiteside and his nurses reassured me that they were there and everything was going great. They recommend you go home and take a 2-4 hour nap, once I woke up I could immediately tell a difference in my vision. I can't recommend this place enough! read more

Eye have nothing but great things to say! Eye came here at the beginning of January for a consultation and was impressed from the beginning. You can sign up for a consultation online and they will send you reminder emails. The staff was friendly, the consultation was thorough where they have you go through multiple tests (similar to the ones you get at the eye doctor). Afterwards, they go over pricing. United Healthcare insurance provides a 15% discount and if you do the surgery in the same month, it's an additional 5% off. Total for both eyes including eye drops came to about $3550. Eye also did consultations at Eye Institute of Houston and Joffe, which is a sister company to LasikPlus. The pricing is similar for all, but reason Eye chose LasikPlus is because they offer lifetime enhancements, which none of the others do. You will need to get additional eye drops ordered through your insurance, but Platinum RX will deliver them to LasikPlus before your surgery. On the day of your surgery, Eye came in a little after 3 PM and read over all the instructions and release friends. Essentially that there was a chance Eye could go blind but luckily that didn't happen! Then Dr. Do came in and checked my vision. There was a good amount of time eye spent waiting. Around 5 PM, Eye finally met Dr. Whiteside, who would perform my surgery. During the surgery, all Eye felt was strong pressure against the eye and stated at a green spot as the laser was correcting my vision. 10 minutes and done! You will definitely need a friend to drive you home after the surgery. The first night after the surgery, my eye felt irritated and there was a good amount of tears coming out. It was also a little blurry, which they said was normal. But Eye followed their instructions of putting in eye drops and going to sleep. The next morning was much better and eyesight was much clearer! It apparently takes a few weeks for you to get the perfect vision. Eye couldn't have asked for a better experience. I am SO happy I decided to get Lasik! I keep forgetting that I'm not wearing contacts! BEFORE: I had a very very high prescription and couldn't even see the eye chart. We paid for the "lifetime" lasik so that we could have any corrective procedures done for life, for free. I specifically asked that they not sacrifice my far off vision for close up. Exactly what they did. When I requested a "new procedure" after 3 months, I was told to come back after 7 - 8 months so that I could properly heal. When I contacted them at 11 months out, was told that even though I had the upgraded plan, I should have contacted them within six months. They would not see me. I had to go to my regular eye doctor, they had to fill out a form to say I needed correction. After that, " lasikplus would decide if I need correction or not. Total sham. WORST decision of my life! Also, thanks to my eye Dr., I wear contacts for my distance and use readers for close up. Kinda were I was before, minus the expensive contacts. I had my lasik laser surgery about 15 years ago and I just recently had my retouch done. They offered a lifetime guarantee and how many businesses do you know offers this?! When I first thought of getting my retouch I was worried if they would honor my lifetime warranty. Questions in my head were, do they even have my files? Will they honor my lifetime warranty? How much will I need to pay? To my surprised they did still have my information when I called. I didn't even have to show proof of receipt, they just took my information and rolled with it. What can i say? I can see, i mean i am 2 days out and i am at 20/20. I was told it could improve as I continue to heal. The process was simple, come get a consultation, set a appointment and come get the lasik. The staff were great and the facility is clean. Now as far as the procedure itself, it hurts, nothing unbearable but yet and still it does hurt. It will also be alot of eye drops. You will be putting something in your every hour for at least a week. The more they have to fix the higher the price. I was a negative 7.5 and i paid 3500 for the entire procedure including the drops. I will say i have a better quality of life not having to reach for contact, constant headaches from dry eyes and glasses. This procedure is a decision that i do not regret at this time and im hoping it will only get better read more

Stay away the up charge you for lifetime enhancement but when you need it they will not return calls make you go get a third party exam which you have to pay for and will ignore the third party optometrist. I don't even know where to begin I was nerve wrecked when I got here, but I was calm immediately when the friendly staff spoke to me . I got my lasik surgery done today 2-9-17 around 11am and I couldn't be any happier I'm able to watch TV without glasses and it's just been about 8-9 hours since I've got my surgery I took a 3 to 4 hour nap once I got home this afternoon and I put my drops in and I don't have a cloudy vision or anything as of yet and don't think I will have it if I haven't gotten it by now. It was perfect I couldn't be any happier my doctor called me to check on me to see if everything was going good just a few minutes ago it's now 8:56pm. This is the best investment I have ever made. The staff is super super friendly especially Kim I couldn't have done it without her. The doctor is friendly as well, but he is stern and his way of being really helped me get through and stop being a wuss lol. Dr. January is an amazing Ophthalmologist! He's super funny and makes you feel so comfortable during the procedure. I went in super scared and thought they would make me go blind! Getting my first post op check up since the LASIK procedure. So far so good! 20/20 vision finally! I was able to finance my procedure with Care Credit totaling around $3,500 for both eyes. That's including whichever discount my insurance provided. This includes unlimited post op follow up visits for one year and apparently a lifetime guarantee on the procedure itself. I was able to schedule my appointment one week after my initial visit to check if I was a candidate for LASIK. I have astigmatism and like -5 in one eye and -4.5 in the other. I was SUPER anxious that morning going in and all the staff members were extremely reassuring and kind. This was my first time taking something like Xanax, let me just say I don't think this was an adequate dose, perhaps Valium may be a more suitable choice because I was still very nervous even after the procedure. The procedure didn't hurt per se, I felt some pressure and slight discomfort. Try telling my brain that. The procedure was very fast! The staff practically had to pry that stuffed animal out of my arms. First day post op my eyes feel dry as though they have abrasions. My eyes do have the red patches and I am seeing halos at night; however, it is understood this is a normal variation after surgery. Overall positive experience. My only other suggestions would be to supply some chamomile or peppermint tea in the lobby as patients await their surgeries. read more
