My vision is awesome (no glasses needed!) You get what you pay for; if you don't mind glasses or contacts, get the inexpensive lenses. I received great care from the staff at Diagnostic Eye Center. I have sjogrens disease and sought treatment for my dry eyes. Everyone who administered all the tests were fantastic, patient and empathetic. The optometrist has sjogrens herself, and having someone who understands what it's like is very valuable. She prescribed me some eye drops as well as recommended an eye drop over the counter, which works so well! I can't imagine how good my eyes will feel when I get the prescription drops. I feel almost normal already. I look forward to continue working with them on this journey. The building is very convenient to get to and there is plenty of free parking. read more

I had my first visit at Diagnostic Eye Center this week and it was a great experience. Parking is a snap. The office is bright and the waiting area is large and comfortable. The wait was almost nonexistent. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. I felt like the exam was done efficiently and Dr Sanders, Alex and Mark (and everyone else) spent considerable time with me for the exam and explaining what would happen before, during and after the procedure. At my first post op exam, I tested 20/20! I am stunned at the clarity of my distance vision, and after day 2, I can again read up close without glasses. Dr. Salem has a relaxed, confident manner that put me at ease and he explained all my options. He even got a laugh out of my frightened self! :-) I chose the toric lens as I saw this an opportunity to have good sight for the first time in 60 years (I've been wearing glasses since I was 9). I visited this office a week ago and am a first time patient. The experience was quick and professional. The staff is extremely friendly and kind. I didn't have to wait long to be seen and although i stayed there over an hour the entire time i was there i was being "tended" too. I visited with to different specialist and two support professionals and all were courteous and thorough. I had a LASIK consultation at diagnostic eye center back in 2018. Three of my friends had their surgeries done here, so I wanted to check them out. After a thorough exam I was told that my right eye was too thin for LASIK or PRK and surgery wasn't recommended. I appreciated Dr. Salem's honesty & I think knowing when to say "no" is huge in medicine! I continued to come here for routine optho care while live in Houston & it was always a pleasant experience Fast forward to 2023 and I received a $6 reimbursement check from Diagnostic Eye Center for a visit from 12/2018! I now live in Seattle & they somehow found me, after having the check returned to sender. I literally laughed out loud; I had no idea this was owed to me or what it was for (just says patient refund), but I bought a boba tea with it, so thank you Dr. Sanders & whoever processed this refund 5 years later. Tons of respect for this place...honest doctors & you are definitely not getting ripped off here. I wish my eyes were suitable for surgery because I'd definitely come here. read more
