Senceria Jefferson i a received treatment from your office on several occasions…read moreby Dr. Tabet and her helper Latasha Bush. Which i wasn't treated in a professional manner by Miss. Latasha Bush in my last eye injection prep, Latasha was in fact irritated because of my nervousness about receiving eye injection and vocalized that i was being over dramatic and it was clear that she was irate because i have a fear of needles going into my eyes and that the other patients were much easier to deal with then i was and then i was and proceeded to put iodine drops into my eye and it started to burn, and i requested numbing drops to easy the pain and burning sensation that i was experiencing she told me i compliant to much and walk out of the examination room and came back five minutes later and my home health provider asked her if i could have the numbing drops to subside my pain and discomfort she gave them to me, as she told me i needed to act like an adult, moments later Dr. Tabet came in to give me injection medication and asked me if i were ok because i look upset, and i was because of the rudeness and unprofessional manner Miss. Latasha exhibited before the doctor came in. I didn't speak up And tell here what had happened because (Latasha) was still in the examination room at the time she asked and im not aware of the chain of command in making a complaint and Dr. Tabet was always kind and patient with a great bedside matter as well as the other staff at this office she talked me thorough the last procedure and I trusted her . my home health provider called in and voiced her concern over the way i was treated. So i came in today for my appointment but it was at the wrong time the nice lady at the front desk asked me to wait so that she could see if i could be seen by Dr. tabet which i felt at the time i would see her but i also let them know i didn't want to be seen by Miss. Bush because i felt very uncomfortable with her due to the prior negative treatment from her. as i was talking to the office manager Dr. Tabet came in to Defend Miss. Bush actions and treatment towards me and basically called me a lair and a trouble maker and would not hear me out at all she stated i should have told her instead of getting other office staff involved with the complaint and wouldn't let me explain or speak and even when i did get a word out to tell her what a good doctor she was thankful for the extra time and care and patient she was with me and i received poor treatment from Miss, Bush she was not able to listen and my son spoke to her in a rude way because he was upset she wouldn't even listen she shut us down we were trying to discuss a problem in a clam way but she was so angry we got no where i felt like she didnt want to hear a word i had to say it was here way or no way. im writing your office today because i feel like i was treated less then a human being. my goal wasnt to start trouble i wanted to be heard and someone care which that is not what happened at all. ended up leaving in tears because i needed to get the treatment.

By default, I just come to Visionworks. I've been getting my glasses from this company every since…read morethey were EyeMasters, so our history runs pretty deep. For my high Rx lenses, this was the cheapest place to get glasses compared to Lens Crafters or Pearle Vision back in the day. I recognize that there are so many options available to purchase corrective lenses such as via mail and some other companies claiming "you paid too much" if you can't get 2 pairs of glaases for $69," but I truly believe if it too good too be true, it probably is... From a little research, I almost was enticed to purchase from Wallaby Parker since they send frames for you to try on and they're quite contempary and stylish, but I would have had to send in a reimbursement form for my purchase. I just didn't want the hassle, so I returned back to VisionWorks since they used my Vision insurance. I came in at the end of the year--maybe 5 days before my benefits would end, so I knew it would be busy. Still, I was greeted and taken care of immediately. I knew what I wanted, had my Rx--it was just a matter of finding a frame. Unfortunately, my decision was kind of made up for me...there weren't too many frames I liked, I don't but frames with nose pads anymore, and I wanted to get the most out of my frame allotment, so I wasn't about to buy a cheap frame! I only found 2 frames that fit that profile. Luckily, one of them was quite different than what I've worn in the past (cat eye, tortoise shell) and made my indecisiveness disappear. The optician who was assigned to me was very nice and friendly. She may have been new and had a few hiccups making sure my vision insurance was put in correctly, but she finally asked someone else to come over and check over her submission. I asked for her to go over the prices and the insuarance coverage to see if the numbers matched up, which she gladly did. Only thing I raised an eyebrow at was she didn't measure my pupils. Had to ask her to do it. She stated the info was actually in the system from last time. I worked as an optician many years ago, and maybe technology is more advanced now, but I always liked to recheck and confirm data. Luckily I asked...she said there was a little change. Additionally, as a I was questioning and comparing prices for high index and transitions, the young lady told me transitions were covered 100% by my insurance and they now include blue light filtering, which was the feature my doctor had suggested with computer lenses. However, the first optician I talked to stated that computer lenses were a little more expensive and the transitions couldn't be put on them. I've pretty much gotten use to having transitions and it was a cheaper option that still provided blue light filtering, so I decided to nix the computer lenses. When the first optician hears of my decision, she yelled across the store, "but she wanted computer lenses!" The other optician shared with her that the transitions provided the same benefit as the computer lenses and I really wanted transitions...the other optician stated in response...okay you do you, you do you...It was so unprofessional! If she was really trying to make a sale on computer lenses, she should have came over and explained the advantages...I was glad I had the optician I had because I really felt she was trying to make sure I get what I wanted and didn't try to oversale other products. Although the BOGO is a great deal, I never wear the 2nd pair. Plus with my insurance, it just is more money out my pocket after using insurance for the second pair. I wear contacts, so that's like my 2nd pair. I just explained all this to the optician and she was cool with that. I was given an estimated date for my glasses to arrive, but I received an email and text message that they were ready about 5 days early. I called to find out when they closed and decided to pick them up before the weekday started. The same bubbly optician was there and she hyped me up as she opened the case for me to put them on. They were a perfect fit and needed no adjustment! She even tested out the transitions for me to see how dark they got and turned back before I left the store. A pretty stellar purchase, but I hate they dont even give you a cloth or cleaner anymore. You know thats esesential to keep glasses clean. At least with the purchase of glasses I think that should be included, but I'll digress now. This place could be a good purchase for you, but definetly look at other places and options.

I left a review a few years ago, and I'm here to do it again. Irene helped me pick out the two perfect frames. She explained to me how to tell which frames are too big or too small for my face. I have been wearing glasses almost my entire life, and this was the first time anyone has let me in on that secret! She was so informative and gave me her honest opinion when I tried on frames, and most of all, she was so personable and easy and fun to chat with during the whole process. I have had nothing but great experiences here, and the turn around for your glasses is so fast. I went in on Saturday, and my glasses were ready on Tuesday.

My entire experience with this place has been the worst. Let's start on the day of my appointment…read moretwo weeks ago when I came in and they tried to assign me the wrong girls chart LOL. Red flag number #1 but I was already there and had been waiting for glasses for months. I get to the back and I'm trying to make light conversation with the tech helping me out but I guess someone was grumpy? It may just be the vibe of this place. In the back it's just dark and hard to see. I'm sure this skews with the exam results but to each their own. And the optometrist kept grunting and huffing the whole 10 minutes we were together. He didn't try to make sure that what I was seeing was best for my eyes. He just rushed me out, which is why the receptionist commented "oh you're done already?" on my way out. So I pay for my glasses and I get a call on Monday about how my glasses are ready. But their new working hours are from M-S 8:30 to 12:30 "for the pandemic." Not sure whose business decision that was but was a POOR idea and NOT thought out at all. Maybe try to extra safety measures instead or cleansing measures? Or even a curbside glasses pickup service. But I guess those ideas were too out of the box. I work before you even get to your facility and get out way after you're done with your little half day. You didn't even consider the community you serve. To top it off, no one updated their website nor the answering service to reflect that they decided not to do Saturdays for right now so I wasted my time again trying to come to this place and get the glasses I already paid for. Anyways, I made a mistake coming here and severely regret it. There are other nicer spots with better customer service and thoughtful hours that make sense.
