I will have a scheduled appointment and arrive and the door is locked, nobody is there. I will call several time. She will not answer but finally text and ask me to drive all the way to her house. That has happened so many times. Other times she would say can I come back another day, this happened several times. Then she start say she was in a car accident; this happed about 5 or 6 times; I am surprise she can still walk. When I do get an appointment in with her, I do not see any signs of her being in an accident. She will go so far as to send me photos of some random car accident. Just not reliable or committed to her customers or her business. She is extremely sweet and nice. She does very very very good work if you can get her to actually do your lashes. After this last disappointment when I depended on her to do my lashes again for a very special event only for her to tell me via text to come the next day, I had to find another place for an emergency appointment. Prior to this appointment, I had been texting her a week in advance as a reminder, I texted almost everyday and she did not even have the courtesy to call or text me back. She decided to text me 2 hours after my scheduled appointment to say come the next day. This was my very last straw. Stick a fork in me because I am done. I tried to work with her but enough is enough. Let's pray for her that she becomes committed to her customers and business.

But more importantly my lash appointment is constantly being changed and never at the promised time. Last 3 visits so far, Vicky would text me to come in early, I'll text back "what time?" No response. Come there at my actual appointment and waited 30 mins over my appointment time. So WTF did you asked me to come in early for? Not a single apology or explanation as to what happened. Not to mention the front reception who can't even do his job of checking to see how much longer until Vicky will be seeing me. He just continued to have me wait while he watched videos on his phone. MBN getting paid watching videos all day. He finally goes and checks on her and I watched him. He gives me absolutely nothing while walking back to his chair. And I heard him ask her is she ready for me. But he comes back and says NOTHING. Who on earth treats clients like this? Learn some customer service will you? Came in for a refill 2 weeks later with L eye barely having anything left. And mind you, I know how to keep lash extensions and this is definitely not my first rodeo. My refill didn't even last a whole week and I literally cannot justify spending money here for terrible quality lash glue that they're using!!! Lastly, I mentioned to Vicky the owner how she did both my friend and sister wrong and explained that I had recommended her bc I thought her work was great! I told her it's not cool that my sister booked with her and she had a different lash artist work on my sister for the first time visit. My sister called and told me she didn't like her lashes and it was two completely diff style. Later, my friend booked but wasn't informed that Monday they're closed. She waited outside and mind you, she got a confirmation text for her appointment. Well, it never happened. She also did not have a response after reaching out to her regarding the two incidents. She just literally left me on "read". Very profession! Sike! Vicky clearly doesn't know how to run a business nor care about losing clients. I've been coming to her for over a year and definitely felt like I was going to stick around. Overtime now, I just feel like she can care less about quality, and at this point she can get more appointments in by controlling everyone else's time, and using cheap lash glue. I say cheap bc the lashes fall off my natural lash. Though her artists wanna claim it's bc it's shedding season. Please! My natural lashes were not even stuck on the extensions. DO BETTER!

I asked for Sakina as the other reviews mentioned, and she's wonderful. She engages in communication, and offers knowledge and tips on skin care and your specific eyebrows. I was told she only works Wed-Sun by another staff when I dropped in a few days prior and she wasn't there. I was greeted when I walked in (a plus) and they have a bunch of specials/deals. For example, $60 for unlimited eyebrow/upper lip for 3 months. I just got my eyebrows done only and it was $8. However, if you use anything other than cash such as debit or credit, the limit has to be $10 so they just swipe for $10. Oh yeah, no appointment needed either. I have mostly used Mina, but have also used Rose and JoJo and they're all fabulous. I get a hybrid refill every 3 weeks for $70 before tip. The place and bathroom are very clean. Lash retention is not a problem and they're almost always on time. Only once have I waited 20-25 minutes, but for he most part I only have to wait about 5-7 minutes for them to finish they're previous client. Books up fully on the weekends, so schedule in advance.

A friend and I Selena decided to take Ann's hybrid and volume training class. There was so many red…read moreflags during my whole experience but STILL wanted to give Ann the benefit of the doubt. Class was supposed to start at 9 AM, Ann did not arrive till 9:10 AM & didn't start class till 9:30 AM. The class was suppose to be a 6 hour intense training course with a 15 min break. Ann gave us a 30 min break & basically rushed us out before 3 PM due to her having another class after us. So in reality it was NOT a 6 HOUR class at all. She was extremely exhausted claiming she had only got a couple of hours of sleep. Ann was also very unorganized throughout the entire class. The "manager" Brenda had brought her baby to the class, set up a playpen and everything. The baby was very fussy the whole class, constantly crying making it extremely difficult to focus and understand her teaching. She also had the music volume loud and we could not hear her very well. Before taking this class i did my research on material and products. The "starter kit" Ann provided in this class has extremely cheap material. The tweezers could not even pick up the lashes! Selena accidentally dropped them and they had instantly bent! The kit was also not even complete. She told us she still had lashes coming in that we can go pick up from her another time. And i should mention that she STILL till this day has not even contacted us to pick up this material. (I attended this class on 6/29) The material in the kit was basically a bulk order she bought on amazon for 18.99 and divided that up between the 4 of us in the class. She claims on other reviews that the kit is worth 150 but that's a lie! If we're paying $675 on a class we at least expect some better quality material in our starter kit! After our negative experience at CBB we decided to reach out to Ann personally through email and explain EVERYTHING that we had issues with. Ann never took the time to respond back to our emails but instead the manager Brenda did. Ann did not train us at all on the "hybrids" for this training course. When we emailed her Brenda claimed that "if we did not touch up on this in class a hybrid lash set is the medium between classic and volume. In order to teach you Hybrid we teach you the basics (which are classics)." Okay i understand you need to learn the classic and volume before doing hybrids but DONT advertise a class by saying you'll be learning "hybrids and volumes" if you give them no knowledge on those techniques! We had asked her for a refund as we felt paying $675 for this class was definitely not worth that amount of money. Brenda stated that the class was non refundable, but I explained to Brenda that we never read or signed a policy stating this class was non refundable. Even the first initial email from booking never claimed the class was non refundable. We told Brenda to do the right thing and refund us our money as we had took an UNPAID day off to invest in ourselves only to lose out on more money! They still told us a refund was not necessary & we were welcome to sit in on another class. We declined that offer as we had no desire to attend another class due to our first experience. After writing one review Ann finally reached out to us. Only for us to be going back and forth and never speaking to her. She claims her intentions are pure but how if your actions are speaking differently. I am a certified Makeup artist and I've been to multiple classes and this by far is the worst experience I've ever had. It's a disappointment that I wasted $675 only to leave with no lash knowledge. Also coming from one business owner to another Ann should do the right thing and refund us our money. She needs to learn to handle constructive criticism correctly.
