I've been coming here for a little over a year and have completed 6 sessions so far. I'm honestly surprised to see negative reviews, because my experience has been the opposite. I'm currently removing 7 tattoos - some only a few years old, others around 15 years old. The older tattoos faded much faster; most are nearly gone after 6 sessions, which aligns with what the staff told me to expect. One even had quite a bit of color, and it's almost completely gone now. I'll probably need just 1-2 more sessions for that one (due to the colors). The newer tattoos (all black ink) have also faded significantly after 6 sessions, though they're progressing at different rates. I did a lot of research beforehand and understand that removal depends on several factors - placement, age, colors, and how heavy-handed the artist was. Since mine were done by different artists, I can definitely tell which ones had more ink packed in. Based on that, I expect those will take closer to 10-12 sessions, which is completely normal and in line with the quotes I received elsewhere before choosing LaserXX. From my progress so far, I'm confident they'll be gone around the 10-session mark, with maybe a couple needing an extra treatment or two. A lot of people expect tattoo removal to be quick, but it isn't - it takes time for the ink to break up and for your body to process it, which is why you have to wait weeks between sessions. Sometimes tattoos even look darker or "blown out" at first as the ink breaks apart. I've noticed this especially with my fine-line tattoos, but over time they've continued to fade just as expected. I'd also like to add that I live a very healthy lifestyle. I eat well, exercise regularly, don't smoke, and take care of my skin - which I'm sure has contributed to my success. Overall, I don't think this place is a scam at all - in fact, I believe their pricing is very fair for LA. The staff is consistent, professional, and always pleasant to work with. It's the same team every time I go, and I've only ever had positive experiences. I'll definitely continue coming here and recommend them to anyone considering tattoo removal. BEWARE!!! They are running a scam here at this practice. I am a VERY unhappy customer and I should've read the reviews before I decided to come here. I have seen zero changes on my finger tattoo that has now been treated twice. I came here because they were willing to stay late for me since my work schedule ends at 5pm and most office close at 5pm. I truly wished I read the reviews before deciding to come here. They try to wow you with this "pay in advance deal" for $144 for three sessions. Three sessions that do absolutely nothing!!! You're basically giving them free money. I have had several other 2nd opinions from TATTOO REMOVAL SPECIALISTS and doctors and they all have unfortunately advised me to seek treatment elsewhere because nothing is being treated here. They have seen no indication of treatment. When treated you should see white spots or "frost" around the area and I have seen none. There was no redness or tenderness to touch after the treatment. I looked up the doctor and it turns out that he is an internal medicine doctor and does not have any specialty or training in tattoo removal. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!! Don't go the short cut route and look for a "good deal" when it comes to this type of work that requires experts. I spoke with his assistant Shawna on the phone and she kept talking over me as I was trying to explain to her how dissatisfied I've been with their services and that I haven't seen any changes. She kept talking over me and not allowing me to speak my truth. As a provider your customer's happiness, concerns and satisfaction should be your number one priority. They give you the run around telling you that you have to be patient and the placement is far from the heart and how it will take longer for it to treat. At this point I feel like this doctor and his team are insulting my intelligence. He's also told me the doctors I've spoke to didn't know what they're talking about. Shawna devalued my $144 and refuses to refund it because I signed their contract. She said "you didn't pay for a $2000 treatment. $144 is not a big deal. The contract says you pay in advance and cannot get your money back." I personally don't care if it was a penny I gave them. It's my money that I worked for and that I paid to have services done and results were not being delivered. Other consultations stated 6-7 treatment and Laserxx doubled the estimated time. I decided to come here because it was cheaper, but guess what? You need 10-12 session for it to be completed when other places can get it done more efficiently and effectively in 6-7. I clearly explained to her that I am unhappy with services and I will not be coming back due to the fact that I do not feel confident with their treatment. I tried to get a large black tattoo removed at a different office before and it didn't fade well. Laser XX has been great and my tattoo is gone after 6 sessions. I get my picosure laser done here for my melasma and facial pigmentation. The doctor is really genuine and nurse is really sweet too. The front office is really helpful. They used Pico laser and it is definitely what you should look for when getting a tattoo removed. They are honest and their prices are great. I got the Groupon deal for tattoo removal and I had 3 sessions done. Previous I was going somewhere else, paying $300 a session, but the difference every session was noticeable. After I finished my 3 removal sessions here, I hardly noticed any difference. They even charge you for numbing cream and parking so whatever money you think you're saving, you're really not. If you ever want to go and get a PicoSure facial laser treatment, do not go to LaserXX and see Dr. Berdjis. He is a major disappointment. When I first met him, I thought very highly of him and his practice. So, I left a good review then. But after my last PicoSure partial skin facial rejuvenation, I was left dumbfounded and disappointed. I have done 3 treatments with him so far, nothing came good from his treatments. He lead me to believe that I was going to see a major difference each time. He threw me for a loop. My most recent appointment and disappointment was Mon., Feb 28, 2022. The doctor zapped my dark patches with only one time which took only about 5 or 6 seconds. The patches are still there, his prognosis was all wrong and left me with even darker patches. I wrote him an email describing my hurt and dismay, he never replied. I was getting my laser treatments in Sherman Oaks but I wasn't seeing a significant results so I wanted to try this place. Came here for a Groupon deal for a tattoo removal. Receptionist seems too busy but when approached does answer questions and the phones. The office is a little unorganized in the back and makes me wonder about how hygienic the place is. They provide numbing cream and ice before the procedure but have recently learned that the cream adds another layer that the laser needs to go through, thus making the treatments less effective. Overall, it was fine but due to the drive and disorganization, I opted for another laser removal facility closer to home. read more

I'm not sure if it's because I paid with Groupon or what but I had four treatments here with little to no results. I asked them to bump up the power after my first session because there was literally no difference and it hardly hurt. I never got any frosting with any of my sessions. After complaining they gave me one more for free. By the end of my fourth session with these people my tattoos look exactly the same as they did when I went in. Not sure how they pulled that off after four sessions but disappointing to say the least. Don't go there! I've been there twice! My friend recommended! First time I went there, the doctor haven't served me, they've asked a nurse done the laser for me!
