I participated in a few of their in-store seasonal promos and the front desk staff here verbally confirmed that they had added to my account with 2 complimentary facials for my participation, and that I would be good to use them at any time as per their overall highly-visible and marketed "no expiration" company policy. The staff never gave me any receipt nor written terms, nor did I know to ask since I greenly assumed they would be trustworthy and would have no reason to lie or shortchange me. Nurse Paula was quick and efficient, I appreciate that my appointment started on time and I was finished in only 30 minutes. The nurse was amazing and told me I was nowhere near ready yet and to come back in a few months. This made me feel amazing about their company because it didn't seem pushy! She was so pushy right off the bat to have me put down a large sum of money for a Botox bank. I said no and she made a face and told me that it would be way cheaper to get one. I asked her to explain what it was because she was pushing it without telling me what it entails. I did some mental math and realized it would only save me $1 per unit. I make more in interest by keeping it in my bank account and it's the holidays so money is tight. She kept saying she had never heard of putting down money before the Apt, and thankfully someone else was there and told her it was typical when booking, so I didn't end up losing the $55 I originally put down. She was incredibly rude, pushy, and judgy- all to get shame/trick people into spending more money. It's a shame that LaserAway lets adult bullies be the face of their shops to try and earn more. Then she said to me, "oh yeah thanks for reminding me". I don't usually wear glasses..... in any shape or form, is this OK? Also, I don't know if it's customary to disinfect the area before you start doing a tattoo removal but that was not done for me and I had this done for me before in the past with victoria and the other provider I had. If this is not usually in the protocol, I understand but today's appointment one of my tattoos that were being removed bled a lot. WOW !!!!!!!!! None of my pix are edited/filtered. I don't get "fillers" or "botox". This is the 3 months later update. I'm 46 -- and the elasticity has returned to my face. (!!!!!) IT TAKES TIME : Face Skin Resurfacing if you Google online takes 1 to 5 months to see any change. . . RIGHT AFTER THE PROCEDURE : I LOOKED EXACTLY THE SAME!!! Which was horrifying..... Great for work and walking around -- but frightening because I just dolled-out $1000's of dollars .... I kept praying all the stats online re: this procedure were true. And as you see -- they are. GET THE BLAME NUMBING CREAM : This procedure is wickedly painful, wickedly wickedly painful, w/o "Resurfacing Numbing Cream"... I didn't use and I'm telling you first hand. Also -- the pain will disallow you to let the treatment go as deeply as it could... because frankly you won't be able to handle it. With the numbing cream they can give you your money's worth of the laser ... good and deep .. and you'll not be holding back in any pain. If LASER AWAY isn't providing the Resurfacing Numbing Cream then ask them to refer you to someone who is, or get from another company and inform Laser Away what you're putting on your face to make sure it'll be the correct product for the procedure. LASTS 3 - 5 YEARS according to Google. I CONTINUED ANTI-WRINKLE CREAMS/SERUMS : Sustained the whole regimen to date... to aid and sustain the new skin. I GIVE IT A 9 OUT OF 10 -- AND YES I'LL BE GOING BACK (for my decollette) : I still have a little of my smilee line next to my mouth which is a bummer ... but the smilee lines have left my eyes, unless I smile!
