I'd say that if you can go somewhere else you'd probably be seen a bit faster. when I finally was brought out of the waiting room into a bed, it was in a hallway, where I was kept overnight and was finally put into a "room" the next morning at about 9 am. All of the ER tests and things were done in the hallway. Other than the time and the wait. The care I received was second to none. I was given attentive Nurses and doctors who were competent and actually figured out what was wrong with me. Hopefully this review guides you in the right direction.

Why stagger the patients like this. I'm sure there is a reason, but this is LA. We had plans and reservations. Made these plans because a 10 minute procedure at 1:15pm would allow us to skip traffic. But by the time we were actually done, it took us an 1:20 minutes to get home. By the time we left there was 1 person in the waiting room. Unless the doctors and nurses love ending their day by 3pm, it just makes no sense to overcrowd your facility, your waiting room and cause such a painful delay in being seen. Ridiculous! While the professionalism, the care and the procedure were outstanding - this isn't a heart surgery. And the overall experience takes away from the hard work that the doctors and nurses put into their patients. Do better please with time-management, over-scheduling, over-crowding, and if people are late to appointments - fine them, but don't create a system of waiting for over an hour if you asked us to be there at a certain time - we expect to be seen in a reasonable time.

The tumor had grown to 14cm within 2 months. Since pathology noted that the cancer had reached her skin, both Dr. Richardson and Dr. Cassileth even had my wife come back in for a second surgery to ensure the margins were as clear as possible since this was such a aggressive cancer. I'm am writing this review sitting back in her waiting room a year and half later after we reached out this morning after my wife felt a lump in the same place the original lump was felt. I recently redid a similar diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound at the Randal Breast Facility in Pasadena, and they only charged me $58 (and notified me beforehand what it would cost). Both these facilities are within my network. Why the insane price difference? These guys at Bedford are just there to make profit, not to treat you. I also only got to see a doctor there for half a minute and both doctor and nurse were rude and laughing when I starting crying upon diagnostic. They showed absolutely no empathy. Very poor experience. Avoid this place at all cost.

This excludes the services done by the position. You are literally being billed by the organization to use their facilities and they'll bill it as a surgical center or activity. This information was not explicitly told to me at the time of the visit, nor was it explicitly called out as a facilities or surgical center charge. As a result, my insurance was billed an outrageous amount for the injection and for having it done at the clinic/office /surgical center (3x the cost of the injection itself). Now I'm stuck with a huge bill because of an opaque billing structure and designation that is designed to add profit to the organization with the unsuspecting patients footing the bill.
