Our last girl never did such a horrible job. Not only was the lady at the front flighty but the new girl did a horrible job.. crooked and lumpy. They took zero responsibility in their work and just wanted to gauge me. They did not reach back out to check in so when i wrote again they told me I NEEDED TO GO ELSEWHERE. I'll keep this as friendly as I possibly can. First off, this staff has or seems to have almost no training. Who is in charge of protocols here? My injector "Farah" was literally handling items with her gloved hands (cool, okay) but then once she was done with whatever she was doing attempted to try to start my appointment without switching her gloves! Like no ma'am, I don't know where you all touching in that cabinet or how clean it is. I almost walked out, but she was nice and did change gloves when I pointed it out to her. It was my first time getting any sort of injectables so I did some research beforehand & the gal (Sunna) administrating the injections was very condescending about my research. It seemed like she thought I was claiming to know more about it than her but I was treating the interaction as more research, being open & bringing my findings to her but she got defensive & rude. She said "In all your RESEARCH did you find dysport is 3x the dosage of Botox?" No because I don't plan on dosing myself....? There's one nice nurse here that knows what she's doing but the manager is literally awful and will try to convince you that you need more filler, more botox, the more expensive facial, and is super rude, combative, and dismissive. I came here for Forma and got a nurse who was doing it for the first time, not a problem because she was being shadowed by an experienced nurse but my face was burned a few times and made it super stressful. I asked about the deal on this Yelp page and I was told that this isn't their Yelp page... yet that's them in all of the pictures. I asked for the special that is on their website and on their Instagram (picture attached) and was argued with for over 20 minutes and told "do you go into a store and argue the price? No that's the price!! That deal ended yesterday!!" Like literally yelled at while spending hundreds of dollars. After a ton of arguing and being talked down to she finally gave me the price but reminded me that I need to check the prices next time. Super disappointed. I mentioned that I was super patient with the new nurse and that on top of that I was being overcharged. The manager then told me that I don't know what I'm talking about and she's done this a bunch of times... when the nurse literally said it was her first time doing Forma on someone's face. I have only done one lip flip before at another med spa, but I love the staff and results at skinsation much better. Before the lip flip, they had me speak to a very nice PA via Telehealth, who made sure I was medically cleared before having the lip flip done. This was not done at the previous med spa I went to, but I appreciated it because it made me feel safer about receiving the injections. Cat was so nice and very gentle. I waited months before I wrote a review in hopes that my skin would get better. I Did everything recommend post treatment. I'm going to write my entire experience about how this place completely and permanently damaged my skin by burning my face. I have severe burns now that will be on my face for the rest of my life. Now I have hyperpigmentation which I never had before. I went to 4 different experts and they all said that my skin was severely burned Nice girls but being nice doesn't change the fact that they burned me and BLAMED my skin. My skin was clear before I came here and this photo was taken weeks after treatment. This place RUINED my skin forever I would never recommend anyone to ever come here they do not know what they are doing. They lied and said my skin had an allergic reaction to the numbing creme but really they BURNED MY SKIN. I will even upload photos from TODAY that show the same hyperpigmentation 3 years later. Listen... this is the first time I've ever posted a negative review on yelp. I normally do not do this but this place is a SCAM and needs to be called out. I'll start with my filler.. I came to Skinsation to have filler performed on my smile lines. The filler I received is not even on my smile lines, it's slightly outside of my smile lines. You can see a line of filler on the outside of my smile lines on each side. This makes my smile lines look even more dramatic than they were before- because there is even more of an indentation. I did not think it was possible to go and have filler performed and come out with it looking worse than it did when I went in! Guess what, it is possible at Skinsation LA! Secondly, this place was supposedly running a 'promotion' on Instagram for April specials. The ad is deceptive and clearly shows that the special involves TWO syringes for smile line filler. Only after my service was performed did they reveal that it is only one syringe and that 'they recommended' you get two, even though the ad says not a single thing about recommending two. The staff also did not properly disclose the true nature of the special when I called and specifically asked questions about the special. The staff purposely lies and changes the rules of the special on a whim to fit their narrative. This is literally false advertisement which is illegal in the state of California. The usual girl my mom and I went to is no longer so had to try out another girl who honestly did not do a good job and made my moms lips bumpy & uneven. I should have known things were bad when I walked in for lip filler appt and the front desk girl said "Botox appt" completely unorganized and a mess. We went in for the follow up and expressed the problem, The owners made us feel extremely uncomfortable were scrutinizing my moms pictures in the back sending the poor injector back and forth to us like a game of telephone. It took forever for one of them to talk to us face to face like they were "too good" to face the issue we had to ask to talk. Naira rather glare give dirty looks and stay in the back. They just wanted more money and made us feel like we didn't belong in there. My mom was so uncomfortable she was brought to tears because of them. Excuse after excuse they STILL got more money out of us and we never heard from them again so my mom reached out saying she was surprised no one had checked in and instead of being kind they cut my mom off for being unhappy with her uneven lip job and went as far as to block my mom on Instagram and went even further to block me her daughter on instagram to silence our voices when i had not said a word as of yet. I could understand if we weren't nice people but we are kind, good people who did not deserve this! this was beyond unprofessional and disgustingly rude. The owners naria and jenny are mean girls who are greedy and only care about the wealthy. Don't support these people and fund their lavish lifestyle they don't care about you. I visited this medical spa twice in two weeks time during a trip to LA. Pros: -very clean office space and treatment rooms -friendly, professional staff -I believe the main injection specialist (nurse) is named Nuna. She is very knowledgeable and skilled. All other nurses seems to be training and were very professional. -For LA, prices seem very reasonable /competitive for all treatments they offer.   -My first visit was smooth, pleasant and efficient- (although the results were not satisfactory and hence I had to return 2 weeks later to fix uneven lips and Botox) -Excellent numbing cream!! Didn't feel a thing. Cons: -second visit: injection specialist (Nuna) arrived over an hour late. There were about 5 people waiting for treatments. I was there for small touch ups following my visit two weeks prior. No apology was made by any staff for the extreme delays. -I needed 2 units touch up on Botox. Which they seem to normally charge for, but did not charge me this time. (I've never been charged for minor Botox touch-ups in NY or Sweden). Maybe this is normal in LA, not sure as this is my first time getting Botox in LA. But just as an FYI -I also needed a minor touch up to my lips that were a little uneven at the top points. This resulted in a half syringe. Unnecessary, but fine. Only problem is that I have returned home now and both my top and bottom lip are still uneven. I will need to have them touched up locally. I've never written a negative review but I want to help someone else in case they think of trying this place. Went in for Morpheus 8 - they legit butchered my face (i have pics of a black eye after). I thought to myself I must have sensitive skin even though others told me this wasn't normal. Fast forward, decided to go in for a peel. They encouraged me to do the stronger version of the peel (even though I'd never done this peel before) . She was rubbing it so hard all over my face which alarmed me but I figured she knew what she was doing. They told me to leave it on for 6 hours, but after an hour my face felt like fire. I ended up washing it off and it burned for hours later. My face was burned off (have more pics) and to make matters worse, the blonde manager was a complete bitch and has been gaslighting me about it. You have to see these texts - shocking. Honestly, no one has ever been so rude to me like that. Now I have to deal with the aftermath of my skin. Scrolling through reviews, Another person has the exact same experience! What I love about Skinsation LA is that the Medical staff is always being educated on new techniques. All the nurses are highly knowledgeable on facial anatomy to achieve beautiful results safely. I have done their IPL treatment about 3 times and I'm absolutely in LOVE! The IPL machine they use does not hurt like others I have tried. Where to begin... I came here for the first time to get my previous lip fillers dissolved and waited two weeks before coming back here to get them redone as my previous experience here was relatively positive but wow, I was so wrong. When I got my lips done by Catherine, she put a majority of the filler in my top lip as she said my bottom lip is already full but the next day, I saw these bumps and fullness on my upper lip region that extend to my mustache area. When I called this place to explain the situation, I specially stated I will need someone else to fix this as I don't trust Catherine's injecting skills. Fast forward to my appointment where I was under the impression they would make this right and be understanding, they had booked Catherine to dissolve the fillers and then gaslighted me saying I should have asked for someone else... when I literally did on the phone. They tend told me my lips were already like this and it's my fault my lips are shaped like this. It's funny because after they dissolved it for the second time, all the puffiness and filler is out of my mustache area. This review has little to do with the fillers as it was wrongly injected and they don't want to believe their RN is incapable of doing her job but rather my experience with the owners. I actually never met such rude women before who have a highschool girl mentality. Always be careful with their waivers you sign, they don't abide by it as I was told by the front desk girl to skip a page if I do not want my photos uploaded on the internet, mind you I don't use social media except for Yelp so there is no way I would have agreed to it and the owner nayra or however you spell her name, said I did sign it and she has the right to release my photos. It's clear they either forged my signature or lied on the waiver. It's such a shame that I had to hire a lawyer now and rewrite this review. I feel bad for anyone who will come here and I'll make sure everyone I know in the west side never comes here. There are so many more med spas in LA with better service and classier, respectful owners. Please stay away from this business!!!
