So, when my instagram feed was blessed with Skin 22's page, I knew I had to come in for a consult. Pro tip: I was a little confused about which floor to go to. The M floor isn't the 1st floor. Head to the elevator, press M and thats where you should be (this tripped me up until I actually stepped into the elevator) Arrived on time for my 1pm appointment and was greeted by John, who signed me in, escorted me to a room, and gave me a run down of how my appointment would go. He was super kind, offered me a beverage and we went over all the areas I wanted toxed and then I waited for Nurse Ted to come in and proceed with the injecting. I then got to meet, the Oh - So - Famous Nurse Ted. Such a kind soul. He looked over the areas I wanted to get done and suggested others. When it comes to tox, you can convince me of most things, so when he suggested masseter botox, I immediately said yes! Such a great suggestion too. I already can tell the difference and i'm excited to see how it improves my face shape in the next few weeks. Before heading out, they sent me home with a few goodies which was such a nice touch. Found out about Skin22 through a winter promo event and decided to try them out. They were offering some great deals, so I booked an appointment for Dysport and had a really good experience. Nurse Ted was amazing. He explained everything clearly and answered all my questions. You can tell he's very knowledgeable and experienced. The facility itself was clean and modern, and the whole process felt easy and professional. Pricing was fair, especially considering the quality of care. I also really appreciate how well John and Ted take care of their clients. You feel like you're in good hands the moment you walk in. Only downside is the parking situation. It's either a paid lot or street parking, and spots can be tough to find depending on the time of day. Would definitely recommend giving yourself extra time before your appointment. Booking was easy. The front desk person was nice. My treatment was quick and went well. Overall the result of my botox visit was good. My only complaint and it is a big one-- is this business asking for tips for service by medical providers. They should just charge and pay their employees appropriately and not be asking customers for tips. Asking for a 20% tip on a $600 -10 minute service is $120. Not appropriate. you need to always check both Google and Yelp for a business. I made mistake of not checking Yelp first. after seeing their 600 reviews on google I figured they were a legit business, to my shock it's quite the opposite did I feel duped. This spa is clearly purchasing Google reviews and at high volume. it isn't normal to have 38 yelp reviews and only 4.4 stars but 600 Google reviews and 5 stars. I came in just for Botox and ended up being sold all kinds of overpriced add ons. They charged me $750 for a skincare package I later found on Amazon for $150. The Botox was uneven with one eyebrow higher than the other. They also charged me $1800 for Sculptra which I learned is triple what other clinics charge. I spent $3000 here and left feeling completely price gouged and taken advantage of. This clinic does not put the clients' wishes and interests first. Their goal is emptying your pockets. I came for a Botox procedure and wanted to do only 20-30 units. But the "nice" guys told me to my face that they were not interested in wasting their time on injections of less than 50 units. They really tried to make me pay for a volume I didn't need. This was confirmed by other honest doctors, one of whom only gave me 15 units of Botox and I am thrilled with the results. From the very beginning, they started pushing me to do another very expensive procedure, without even bothering to explain the technology of this procedure. And also, I have never seen a single cosmetologist's office that is locked and where you are allowed in only after first looking into a camera. What are they hiding?
