I've been using LaserAway, the Pasadena, CA location, for approximately 6 months now and I have seen incredible results. I have PCOS which causes thick, course facial hair. I could legit grow a dark beard after only a week (I have light skin, this really stands out), and I constantly had a 5 o'clock shadow no matter how often I shaved. And yes, I shaved on the daily and I've had to since I hit puberty. The office is clean and professional. I never feel in danger of catching COVID while I'm there, and I have remained healthy my entire duration of treatments. The front desk is kind and friendly, particularly Jessica who goes above and beyond by telling me about sales on laser treatments that they have. The procedure itself feels like your face is being flicked with a small rubber band. Flinch-worthy but not super painful, unless you grow your stubble out a little too long, so I always recommend shaving at least 24 hours in advance. I've gotten a few techs by now, but I've been lucky enough to get Nurse Kelly a couple of times and she's incredibly friendly and always lets me know what areas she is working on. I'm almost done with my laser treatments (10 for my face) and the only hair left is blonde and grey. It grows much slower and it's much easier to shave off for treatments. I can go days without shaving because it's far less obvious and doesn't show up on Zoom calls. I just started treatments on my underarms and after 1 treatment the results are ALREADY amazing, I went from needing to shave them daily to maybe once a week. And by the way, the treatment is SUPER face. I go in, get zapped for about 15-20 minutes, then I'm out again. I can't thank them enough for this life-changing service! I can't wait to continue to get rid of this annoying hair for the rest of my body! read more

I've just finished my 9th laser hair removal treatments, and I've had very little regrowth. Only, some in dense growth areas- but that is much finer and softer than before. I'm now on a mantanance schedule. If you're like me and have thighs that embrace, there is no better gift to yourself than saving the agony of shaving, then severe irritation 24hrs later, then battling ingrown hairs after that. It's nice to have smooth thighs- especially when it gets hot. TAMARA was my nurse/ clinician this time, and she was wonderful! BUYER BEWARE- This is a greedy company that does not care for your health! I have been using their services for almost 10 years. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars over the years for botox and facial treatments. My last treatment was in July 2023 and at that time the aesthetician noticed a lump on my throat. I received a cancer diagnosis in May 2024 and had surgery at that time. I am still using chemotherapy. Two weeks ago I went in to see if I could start up on my botox and facial treatment at that time I was charged over $4k dollars. In good faith, I went in for my first appointment and had a tele-conference with the nurse practitioner. During our discussion, I informed her about my medical history and current medications. She informed me that I cannot receive any treatments and did not approve any treatments. She had me call in the staff and informed the staff to refund my money. After the call, the staff member refused to issue a refund and asked for a doctor's note. If I would have known from the beginning that I was not a candidate, I would not have paid and gone in. Also the fact that the staff would not immediately refund my money after the professional NP told them is extremely upsetting. It makes me wonder if the staff ignores other things the medical professionals say. I have tried calling multiple phone numbers for this location and there are no email addresses for this company or location. read more

Hello! I've received several messages in regards to an update. I went to this facility and did 2 sessions of the fire and ice treatment already. The laser facial is a temporarily treatment and makes your skin glow and feel tight for a day and that's about it. Don't expect it to improve your skin long-term. I can't contest for IPL but for those lucky selected few please share your experience. I have nothing against the nurse that performed the service, she was great but I don't think I will be back for more sessions. It doesn't suit my needs in removing my dark spots. read more

In short, I did not get what I paid for. A few years ago I bought a 500 unit botox "bank" because I wanted help minimizing my forehead wrinkles. I did one session and noticed no change after 2-3 weeks. I made the issue known, and they advised me to use more of my units to see results but there was still no change after 2-3 weeks. So, I went back and spoke with the man at the front desk who said something like, "Personally, I use a LOT more units than you did. Men have stronger face muscles so we need to use a lot." So I am left wondering - how am I, as a non medical technician, supposed to know how many units will get the job done? Each time I went in, the ladies injecting me always ask "how many units do you want?" and I always say, "You're the professional, can you please advise me?" So I asked the man at the desk for some kind of compensation because by now I've paid a LOT of money for literally nothing. I was denied. I still have some units left but I am on the fence whether I should go back, or seek some kind of recompense from the manager because I was not satisfied. I bought a package of 10 sessions for tattoo removal at Laser Away. I paid $349 which is a bargain compared to my former place. I have only received 4 treatments so far at Laser Away but I am happy with their prices and service. Prior to coming to Laser Away I had 2 sessions of tattoo removal at my previous Med Spa (not LA Beauty which I love). My previous Med Spa charged me $150 per session. Even though it takes approximately 30 seconds to zap my tattoo my former Med Spa charged a minimum of a 15 minute rate which is steep considering that my tattoo is less than an inch big. Aside from the price and service another thing I like about Laser Away is that you can purchase a package of treatments and go to any of their locations. Their office is very clean and sanitary. Very MISLEADING when you are supposedly getting a "deal". I called in October 2021, when there was a special on Underarm, Full Leg, and Brazilian area. Everything was done over the phone, so when the staff person explained to me that I would pay $599 in total, and that I would come for 6 sessions, I figured it was a deal. What the employee did not explain was that each session was $599, which is a total of $3,594. By the way, I'm getting Underarm and Brazilian for free (Catch 22). Then, she followed by stating that "Ally Lending" has a promotion where it's 0% for 2 years and in order to get this deal, we would have to go through them. Now I am stuck paying $3,594 for Laser treatment. I had NO IDEA that per session legs are $649, Brazilian is $399, and Underarm is $199. This was back in October. I was told today, prices have gone up. I mean REALLY!!! I am so furious. However, the laser technicians/nurses are extremely nice and patient. read more

I've had their Laser Hair removal for my Brazilian area, underarms, and full legs as well as Juvederm for lip enhancement done, and I've never had a bad experience! The ladies at the front have always been exceptional with customer service, super nice, helpful, and welcoming. The nurses who do the treatments in the back have all been great as well.
