I've been coming to LaserAway in Pasadena since March 2019. I've had their Laser Hair removal for my Brazilian area, underarms, and full legs as well as Juvederm for lip enhancement done, and I've never had a bad experience! The ladies at the front have always been exceptional with customer service, super nice, helpful, and welcoming. The nurses who do the treatments in the back have all been great as well. Aside from the clean and precise technique they use in doing their treatments they're always fun to talk to and very amiable as well. I'm so happy with how my lips look, and happy with my laser hair removal results as well. I would recommend this place to anyone looking into their services. All the staff, including the licensed nurses and Sakkara at the front desk, are very professional. I got my underarms and upper lip done, and now I'm starting Brazilian treatments because the laser treatments are super effective and not too painful! **THIS REVIEW IS ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE AT THE SOUTH BAY LOCATION, BUT PERTAINS TO AN RN WHO WORKS AT THIS (Pasadena) LOCATION** I wrote a review about year ago when I first began my journey with laser hair removal. I found it somewhat difficult to find someone I really thought did a thorough job until I began seeing Nancy. Unfortunately, I was only able to snag her for two sessions before she left LaserAway which was a total bummer considering I had seen a few other ladies who were very kind and courteous but lacked a bit in the diligence department (in my own personal opinion). Last night I had an appointment to try another new gal I'd never seen before who has a sterling reputation according to one of my favorite gals who works the front desk (Christina, here's lookin' at you, kid. You're the best!). When I arrived for my appointment I was told my gal who I was scheduled with called out for the day and I there was a girl named Naky who was pinch-hitting for the evening. AND BOY DID SHE DO THE DAMN THING. Naky was extremely professional and surprisingly chipper for me being her last patient of the day. She was insanely thorough and made sure every inch was zapped appropriately. Amazing "bedside manner" AND efficiency? Yes ladies and gents... it does exist. Naky mentioned she usually is found working at the Pasadena location which is a total bummer on my end considering I live in the South Bay. She was there by chance, so if you're lucky enough to magically snag an appointment with her at this location then kudos to you. Hoping she will make more appearances in Hermosa Beach so I can have faith in my laser hair removal journey being a successful one!! read more

I have done a lot of research on lip fillers and lip injections over the past and I've always wanted to try LaserAway because of ADs I'd seen on insta.. it's been a couple of months now and I finally got the confidence to go in and just do it. To be honest I was nervous at first because I just didn't know what to expect. But from the moment I called to book my free consult I knew I had made the right choice to come here. Giau, the receptionist, is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and kind. She was very friendly and made me fee comfortable throughout the whole booking process and she was the one to assist in my consult! (Thank you Giau.. you have great customer service!) Completed 12 sections of cool sculpting and was advised to do thermage after 4 months and I just did it with Daniel today. She was so nice and made me feel so comfortable! It usually takes 2 hours and I finished in 1 hour ! She made it so easy and yes it's painful but she helped get get through it ! 10/10 recommend ! read more

I purchased a Groupon for tattoo removal. I received laser on a semi small upper back tattoo. Yes, it is painful. Yes, it smells like burning skin. Yes, it feels like it's never ending, buuuutttt, it's seriously less than 60 seconds (for a 5 inch tattoo). After my fourth session I noticed a huge difference. Also, as time passes it will fade even more. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and great! I definitely suggest checking them out for your laser needs. read more

I have been going to LA Beauty Skin center for laser treatments and because they are booked this time i decided to try this place. So I call them and I ask the price of the specific area so I can have an idea about the place and to see if the price range is ok for me. The lady refuses to tell me the prices saying I need to go through consultation. I said I don't want to waste time without knowing the price , she then put me on hold for 3-4 minutes and then came back and said "Yes, so I can't give you prices". I rate the poor customer service and unprofessionalism 1 star and I WILL NEVER spend money on this place. read more

The worse customer service! They make you wait over an hour if they are running behind, and if you are 10 minutes late, they either reschedule you or make you wait three hours for a treatment that is less than five minutes. The receptionists are not great, very pushy and do not make you feel welcome. The price is high and the treatments are not as effective as they sell you on. Would not recommend. read more

Camiile (RN) was amazing for my 2nd laser hair removal! The first appointment hurt so much, basically because I shaved 20 mins before my appointment and my skin was irritated. I was breaking out in a cold sweat during the session and had to take several breaks the first time. I let Camille know about my sensitive skin and this time around, I shaved 2 days prior. She gave me ice packs before we started and moved at such a fast pace that I barely felt any discomfort! She also tapped lightly on my leg as she lasered to distract my skin, but it was so comfortable, I barely needed that at all. So considerate though. The initial consult and check in was also very easy. This location is clean, with professional staff and I had no pushy sales tactics. Couldn't be happier. Oh yes, the results after just one treatment have me kicking myself for not doing this sooner!!! read more
