The tech lady said it's protocol and they can't do the laser removal and I should've read the email about "what not to do" (just checked my spam, inbox and deleted mail... of course, no email) -she said I'll have to wait at least 6 weeks. Camille gave me my IPL treatment - she was very friendly and professional, I highly recommend her and she deserves 10 stars! In general I was impressed with how professionally the business is run, and I liked the front desk staff, too. It's also a good-looking facility, located in a nice area, with super-easy parking right outside their door on Sundays. Why I'm subtracting one star: I was uncomfortable being required to sign an arbitration agreement. I asked what happens if somebody doesn't sign? They explained that they can not provide services to anyone who does not sign. Wow! Well, I've never sued anyone before, and I figured the odds were good that nothing would actually go wrong with my treatment, so I signed it... But I don't like the policy. It felt funny to sign away my rights to sue, since sometimes people do get injured from mistakes with medspa treatments and machines. read more

They make you wait over an hour if they are running behind, and if you are 10 minutes late, they either reschedule you or make you wait three hours for a treatment that is less than five minutes. The receptionists are not great, very pushy and do not make you feel welcome. The price is high and the treatments are not as effective as they sell you on. Would not recommend. read more

My first time here and the front office staff were very nice and courteous. I had lLily help me during my consultation, first of all, there was no hard, uncomfortable sales. I inquired about their cool sculpting option, I had a nurse assess me and then I got the sales pitch of "we have a special going on that ends tomorrow.... then their special changed to it actually doesn't end until July 1, when I first said I needed to think about it.'" So I knew right there it was the typical sales pressure tactic however I was pleasantly surprised that she briefly went over payment options but respectively left it alone after that. On to the actual IPL, I had Mackenzie ( hope I spelled her name right). She was professional courteous and explained everything right before she was going to do it. The reason for the 4 stars is that there is no MD or NP in house. They do it by Teladoc... which is really just FaceTime (I saw it on the iPad). The NP just ask a few simple health questions then "cleared" me to do the facial. The reason why I like in house MD/NP/PA is because they can look at my skin and go over other procedures that may be more appropriate for what I want to achieve, here the settings of the IPL is basically left up to the discretion of the RN instead of MD/NP/PA. I have two more IPLs so we will see how consistent their service is, but by seeing how they treated the other guests/patients, I have a feeling they are. FYI they honor Groupon prices/promotion in their office if you're unsure if you want to buy the groupon because not all services are appropriate for everyone. Plus their consultation is free so you have nothing to lose or worry about! read more

Today I went in for my second laser hair removal appointment, nurse Tamar made me feel so comfortable. She always checks in to see how I'm feeling. I couldn't recommend this place enough. read more

NOT WORTH THE MONEY. I did underarm and full face laser and only saw a slight difference in my underarms. They make you shave your areas every month before you come in so it's difficult to see the progress but it's been over a month since my final visit and my upper lip looks just as hairy as it did when I started. Also, they force you to pay for a certain amount of sessions because they know if they offer single sessions no one will return for more. I paid almost 2 grand for nothing. This is an update to my previous review of the Pasadena LaserAway location. The Pasadena location is still the place I specifically try to call every time I have questions about new treatments and adding onto my current regimen even though a new location opened up closer to me. I got patched into a central calling center, and I waited by the phone while they tried to find Sakkara, who I specifically requested, to assist me. My experience with her has always been so positive, and she's the only one I trust for her judgment and guidance. I was having the worst experiences at this place before, until I recently returned after a years hiatus. Pretty annoying that you'd have to pay additional for numbing cream but I can look past that. Receptionists were nice this time and My nurse practitioner Alexa was absolutely amazing as she was so welcoming, she really knows her stuff and is very thorough at explaining any questions you may have about the procedures. Overall I've had a great experience here. I've gotten the works done and have had so much success with laser hair removal. With every session I've seen less and less hair and now only have a few strands left on each leg (and still have 3 sessions remaining). I do have a higher tolerance to pain so I don't feel anything but that will vary from person to person. read more
