I've had THE WORST experience with LaserAway. I came in on January 2019 to start my underarm, Brazilian, and tattoo removal. For the hair laser I noticed after the 6th treatment that I still didnt have any results. I went in for consultation where they told me my hair was probably too light and so the laser wouldnt be effective. Why didnt they tell me that in the first place?? They suggested I could finish my package with a "lighter hair treatment" + 1 free session. Now I'm finished I STILL dont have any results. Not even 10%. I'm full on shaving both areas. The tattoo laser same story. I've had 7 sessions done for my small black rib tattoo. Its not even near gone!! They promised me it would be definitely an easy removal since its black and small. Its like they purposely put the frequency low so you'd have to buy more packages. I'm seriously so mad and upset I've paid so much money and for all 3 I have ZERO results. Just going to list every reason why i would not come back here since my package of 10 tattoo removal sessions are done. 1. They will offer a "payment plan" which will actually be them signing you up for a credit card through care credit. They were not transparent about this at all. Now I have a credit card which I have no use for an but can't close since I don't want to affect my credit for a while. 2. My tattoo is still pretty much there after 10 full sessions - it looks like I will have to pay all over again to get it done somewhere else 3. During one of my sessions I was burned by a technician. The scarring is luckily not that visible, but definitely left discoloration on my arm which will probably be there forever. Update: customer service reached out and offered a few sessions of removal. It was after a few weeks of waiting for their calls and trying to get in touch with them. The last session, the nurse used different wavelengths which didn't happen in any of the other sessions, and I actually got seen right away. Still -1 star for the credit card and another -1 the one time I got burned. read more

THEY ONLY DO BLACK INK TATTOO REMOVAL, NO COLOR. I got a Groupon for tattoo removal and called to make the appointment same day. They didn't ask me anything about my tattoo when I called or when I got there, but had me fill in this loooong document with loads of personal info. AFTER that, the nurse took one look at my small tattoo and said they only do black tattoos, not color because they don't have the right laser for color. I could do the treatments, but it probably will still be there. At least they were honest about it which allowed me to decide against it and contact Groupon for a refund. Nowhere in the ad did it say that, and they could have saved me a bunch of time by just asking when I called if my tattoo had color. Also, now they have all this personal info. I appreciate them telling me before I got treated, but, you know... could have been handled a lot better. read more

I am on my third (out of 8) laser hair removal session (underarms and bikini line) and so far, it's been a really positive experience! Everyone is super nice and friendly. The waiting room and treatment rooms are very clean and comfortable. Naturally, the staff are eager to tell you about their other available treatments, but they are not pushy at all and are happy to give you information without making you feel pressured to commit or uncomfortable. The laser treatment itself is super quick, I am in and out of the treatment room in around 15 minutes. It is a tad bit painful, like being poked by a sewing needle, but the cooling air they use is very helpful with reducing the discomfort. Plus, it's so fast that it really isn't bad at all. My latest treatment was done by Kelli and she has been the absolute best nurse so far. She checked in with me throughout the treatment to make sure I was comfortable, was very reassuring, and was so kind! I would like to have all my remaining treatments with her, Kelli is the best! I decided to come to Laser Away for their Clear & Brilliant treatments to address my melasma. The treatment itself is pretty painless (because they numb you) and doesn't have a ton of down time (you will be red for 1-3 days afterwards but nothing crazy). Here are the concerns I have: -Numbing people in the hallway is a little weird. One time I got demoted to a random chair right in the view of the entire waiting room. Not cool. -For the first two visits they only provided scratchy paper towels to dry your face after washing it. -The prices vary day to day and sales person to sales person. I got a good deal on my 3 sessions of Clear & Brilliant but I heard a few discussions in the reception area and some people were quoted 3 times what I paid for the same thing. They also upsell like crazy if you show any interest in additional procedures. -The pricing on injectables is 40 percent higher than other medical spas nearby. -They don't apply SPF after treatment unless you ask for it. That should be a basic step after lasering your face so not sure why they skip it. However, my nurse was very nice and the treatments are pretty good. The difference in my skin was minimal but not unnoticeable which is good enough. I would come here again if offered the same deal but upon checking out from my last treatment the girl at the front desk didn't ask me if I was interested in coming back. read more
