I'm the 50 years that I have had common sense , I have never seen a Pandeyuca looking like this . I don't know how to describe it the color , texture and taste are completely off . I'm wondering who is making this because before they were so tolerable authentic Colombian now they are like cheap imitations. For a higher price , baked goods are very particular and only people that know the cultural expectations can do it . Get a worker that knows how to make Colombian goods .
I came here because their Instagram page popped up in my newsfeed and I just had to have one of those drinks. They are artistically done and worth the visit. I ordered the fried whole snapper with salad and the tostones with shrimp. The tostones came out piping hot with melted cheese and was really tasty. Fish was crunchy, a little under seasoned for my liking, but it was still good. I sat outside because the weather was nice but the tables and chairs was really dusty. I asked the hostess could she wipe down the table in which she did, but she did it with a sour smelling rag. The kind that leaves behind the smell of feet. I was instantly annoyed and almost cut my visit short. She didn't spray any disinfectant and that rag was probably a rag they used all day and the day before. Gross! I had to wipe down the table and my seat with my disinfectant wipes I carry in my bag. I think they may store the table and chairs somewhere once they close because when I wiped down the chair seat, it was extremely dirty. I was so mad I even sat on it not realizing how filthy it was. The restaurant wasn't crowded at all, I was seated quickly. They have a nice covering overhead to shelter you from the outside elements. They also have the plastic igloo covering over some of the tables in the back. My hostess was really nice and hospitable. I still tipped her despite the mishap with the cleanliness of the table. The food was just ok! But that drink was the bomb! I'd pay another visit during happy hour.
My friend and I decided to have dinner at Las Delicias. The have plenty of outdoor seating in the back, side and in front of the restaurant. We arrived and there were only 3 people in the back, but the time were leaving the restaurant was packed. I ordered the seafood soup with white rice and beans. It was amazing with lots of shrimp, clams, fish and noodles in the soup. The rice and beans complimented it very well. My friend had the rice with chicken, it was tasty and delicious. I had the sangria which was a great blend of flavors. The only downside service was really slow because they only had two servers for the night.
Wish I ate here sooner. I've been here for Colombian bread years ago but didn't realize they served food until I came across their Instagram page recently. When my husband and I realized this is the place across from our regular spot we were shocked and couldn't wait to try it. Of course I checked Yelp to see what the reviews said and was surprised there wasn't any recent customer photos and better reviews. And so we hesitated. My husband is Colombian and picky. We are also creatures of habit when we find something we like and we like another place in the area so when we came for dinner we sat outside and looked at the menu for 30 minutes and almost resorted back to what we knew. GLAD WE DIDNT! This place was DELICIOUS! Just like it's name. I had the salmon with garlic sauce which has shrimp, rice and beans. Absolutely delicious. The portions are big and I was able to save half for my lunch the next day. My husband had the typical dish and liked that they give chorizo instead of pork or chicken like other places. Something refreshingly different. He's also very picky about the red sauce because his mother used to make it best and isn't always impressed but he loved the red hot sauce here. I'm picky about beans and won't eat just any. These were very flavorful and hit the spot. I am so glad we tried this place and can't wait to try more dishes. There is a large outdoor seating area and even one of those bubbles (in the back patio) that are popping up all over the city for social distancing. The staff is friendly and welcoming which is a reason alone to return. I'm a new regular!
One of my favorite Colombian bakeries! I can't really speak to the dinner or drinks but the baked goods and breakfast are delicious. I love their outdoor setup and sitting here for breakfast. My favorites are the chicharrón, chorizo and empanadas. Everything is really reasonably priced and has good portions. The service is friendly but can be a little slow sometimes. Highly recommend!
I stopped in here after my weekend errands - figured I'd buy dinner to bring home. But after reviewing their limited menu, I opted to buy their baked goods as a snack instead. Nothing on the menu jumped out at me right away except the empanadas. I was looking for French fries and a creamy chicken dish but they didn't have either. At least the servers were friendly and quick to pack up the items I requested. I ordered one of each variety of empanada "to go" - cheese, chicken, and beef. The cheese one was pretty good flavor wise but a tad greasy overall. The beef and chicken sadly were on the dry side. The meat filling inside was shredded meat (not ground) but that didn't help with the flavor or texture. On the flip side, the pan con queso was good. The bread was still soft but would've been better if warmed up. They didn't offer and I didn't think to ask. Oh well.
Why do ppl leave more than one star reviews the food here is trash the meat was uncooked and the fish was unseasoned that says a lot because Latinos love to season our food. And soooo over price liek if you gonna make food this expensive please make it good is not even cute you are literally seating in a house backyard Instagram is so deceiving do your self a favor and don't come here with high expectations
Had an awful experience! Ordered the "Day Special" which was lentil soup along with rice, carne guisada and salad. I started with a beverage that had a hair in my straw. Secondly the rice tasted old and the sautéed meat had nothing but fat and was dry. I informed the waitress and she stated well that's the special of the day. She didn't ask to change it for something else and on top the restaurant still charged us for it even though it wasn't consumed.
Not sure why the place has such low ratings but they are friendly and food was delicious. The rice was on the saltier side but nonetheless, the food was fresh and yummy. Wish we had a larger variation of margaritas but the drinks are yummy and strong! (Just tne way I like it.) Had to wait longer than quoted but their deals are amazing. Can't beat their price!

I have been ordering take out from this spot for over 10 years. I usually just go order my goods in person and eat them at home. This time, I ate in on Mother's Day with my boyfriend and my son. My son and I ordered a calentando with huevos pericos and arepa with cheese. Everything was packed with flavor and delicious. My boyfriend ordered a migao which is all types of Colombian breads and cheese soaked in hot chocolate. I especially loved the presentation and it tasted just like Colombia. It was a little hectic and warm in there since it was Mother's Day and there were many customers ordering to go but I was very satisfied with the food. read more

Nice bakery for a nice simple coffee with bread or you can sit for a large meal. It's good for any occasion and anytime to go visit. Love the Columbian coffee that totally wake you up in the morning. It's good when you are not in rush and want to enjoy a nice meal read more
One of my favorite spots in College Point -- always consistent and always delicious. Las Delicias has a welcoming atmosphere, the dining area is always clean, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Most of the time we order takeout, and the food is packed well, still hot when we get home, and always fresh. Whether eating in or taking out, the quality is the same every time. Our go-to is the Picada para 4 Personas, and it never disappoints. The platter comes loaded with pork rinds, sausage, blood sausage, salami, and steak -- all cooked perfectly with great flavor. It's a big, satisfying dish and perfect for sharing. A reliable neighborhood restaurant with excellent food, good service, and great value. Highly recommend if you're looking for authentic Colombian dishes done right. read more

One of my favorite Colombian bakeries! I can't really speak to the dinner or drinks but the baked goods and breakfast are delicious. I love their outdoor setup and sitting here for breakfast. The food at Las Delicias is amazing. The service is good and the staffs are so nice. The place is always clean and well decorated. If you love Columbian food or just want to try it , this is your place to go because you won't be disappointed. read more

The food is delicious and the portions huge, especially for the price. Haven't been here in a long time and they changed a couple things. Their menu is now on tablets and they increased their prices a little. I love their outdoor seating area, very nicely done. Staff was nice, but they mostly only speak spanish, so it is easier to order if you have some spanish knowledge. I ordered breaded chicken with salad and rice & beans. My boyfriend ordered a mixed platter (see picture). Both plates were delicious. We also ordered two drinks, they are beautifully decorated and have a good amount of alcohol in it. The food and drinks were served very quick. There is street parking available. Recommend this restaurant! read more

Honestly we love the food ! However the customer service is really bad ! 1 hour waiting for drinks and food is unacceptable! They should hire more people ! 2 girls to take care of all the tables, Drinks and taking orders on the phone is ridiculous! The owner should hire more personal ! read more

NUNCA EN LA VIDA E PROVADO UNA EMPANADA MAS MALA. Translation, never have i tasted a worst empanada. Asked for mixed only recieved chicken than smelled old and dry had to open all of them to see if they all had the same weird odor. The service wasnt very welcoming either I didnt dare go back in to request a refund. They could keep my money but they could also hold this 1 star. read more

My husband and I have been coming here for a few years. The only reason I know about this place is because my husband is Colombian. They have such amazing baked goods that its managed to find its way into this Greek girls heart! They recently did a major reno on this place, which I'm not going to lie, they needed it. Now the atmosphere is as wonderful as their goods. In addition to the amazing baked goods, their food is Omg delicious! I usually get the grilled chicken and it's super moist and flavorful. It's called pechuga de pollo and I highly recommend it. My husband mixes it up between chicken and skirt steak and has never had a complaint. I've also turned my Greek family onto their Pan con queso, which is bread stuffed with cheese!!! read more

Warning!!!!! False Advertisement! When you pay they add on dollars. When I questioned them, they were charging me items we didn't even have. On top of that the prices in the Menu are not correct, she had to explain to me how they charge. After her explanation, it still didn't make sense because the prices are different from what they advertise. I should get a lawyer and sue because after requesting a receipt and I still feel like they didn't give me my money back. Do not recommend unless you don't care about getting ripped off! read more
