Peruvian & Latin American Adventure I haven't had much experience with Perivian food, but it's very close to Mexican food so I decided to try this place out. I was pleasantly greeted by a young English speaking waitress named Catherine and she directed me along the menu with suggestions after she seated me. I took her advice and ordered the polo tamala (chicken tamale) and the Lomo Saltado (diced steak and onions in gravy with fries and rice). I was please with all the suggestions. She was very accommodating and conversional. The food was different from what I'm use to, but it was good.

This restaurant is located in the former Brazilian steakhouse on Williams, They offer a diverse mix of South and Central American food featuring Peruvian, Brazilian and Honduran dishes. Service is generally friendly but a bit slow sometimes. You get good value and large quantities of food here but some of the beef is a bit tough sometimes. Overall it is a decent spot to grab a large filling meal at an affordable price.

We came by on a weekday evening for dinner and it was pretty empty. Service was a little slow but the food was solid. I got the macchi picchu old fashioned and the lomo saltado. The old fashioned was good and had nice spiced flavor to it which I enjoyed and felt very festive. The lomo saltado was well seasoned and the fries were nice and crispy. I think I actually cleaned my plate. The decor in here is super cute too! Not in Baton Rouge option but the last two times I've been here I've stopped at Brasas so hopefully I'm back next time!

When you walk inside it's very welcoming. And how can an alpaca in a hat not make you smile? There is something on the menu for everyone, so if you have a "country palate" as my family calls it, you can still find something for you. Our appetizer came out with our meal, but the food was all amazing. I personally recommend getting the Salchipapa for the table to much on whole reviewing the menu because you can't go wrong with hot dogs and fries. The Honduran tacos were more like taquitos than tacos. They were delicious. My daughter didn't leave any of the carne asada and talks about going back to get it again. Everything we saw being brought to other tables looked good, so maybe next time I'll just point to something on the menu and see what I end up with.

The citrus was well-balanced, and the shrimp tasted clean and tender, making it a refreshing and satisfying dish. The presentation was nice and it felt light but still filling. The skewers were well-seasoned and cooked just right flavorful, juicy, and served hot. They had a great char and paired perfectly with the ceviche, giving a nice mix of bold and refreshing flavors in one meal. Service: Service was friendly and attentive. The staff checked in often and made sure everything came out correctly and on time. It felt relaxed and welcoming without being rushed. Ambiance: Tito's has a vibrant, stylish atmosphere with a laid-back Latin vibe. The music, lighting, and décor make it a great spot for a night out, date night, or dinner with friends. Overall: Tito's Ceviche & Pisco delivered great food, good service, and a fun atmosphere. The shrimp ceviche and skewers were both highlights, and I would definitely return to try more items from the menu.

Lomo Saltado was flavorful and yum! For $36, it was pretty steep. Next time I'd try the green basil pasta dish that lots of people ordered. The "jumbo" Peruvian wings were delicious but nowhere near "jumbo." Maybe it's jumbo for a Peruvian chicken... but it ain't jumbo to American standards if you asked me. Comes with the green salsa verde sauce which is yummy! Friday evening had no wait, but you can make a reservation too. Parking: small parking lot in the back Service: friendly and fast... so fast that they took the check before we even left! It almost felt like she was rushing us out. Thought it was customary for them to take the signed check after customers leave.

Fresh seafood from the Gulf of MEXICO and a wicked drink menu. They offer several ceviches. Tapas include guacamole, empanadas, crawfish queso, fish dip and veggie salads like crispy cauliflower and Brussels sprouts. We had the crispy cauliflower served with tempura, cashew habanero crema, garbanzo hash, and chimichurri. Loads of flavor and just the right bite size for tapas/apps. Plates include churrasco, fish and grits, paella (can be served veggie or without shellfish if you're allergic), lamb, Yucatan style pork, shrimp or steak mofongo, and chicken poblano. I had the churrasco, served with papas bravas. Steak cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly. My husband had the steak mofongo and the beef tips, like the churrasco, were seasoned perfectly. The plantain mash was sweet and somehow savory at the same time. We loved both dishes. They make mean margaritas and caipirinhas hre, and also offer drinks like the paloma, the Bolivian sour, sangria, and specialty drinks. Service was amazing. She was so upbeat and helpful. This restaurant was a little slow when we went. It deserves a lot more love. It's so close to the touristy part of the French Quarter. Leave the gimmicky spots and come here, you won't regret it.
