Ordered 2 medium pizzas, 2 salads, plates & plasticware. Little disappointed this visit because the pizzas were not cut & we only received 2 sets of utensils. I had a very disappointing experience at LaRosa's Pizzeria on Chevy Road. When I arrived with my two young daughters, we were not seated in the order we came in. Several white couples who arrived after us were seated before us, even though there were only three of us. It was frustrating and honestly felt unfair. When we were finally acknowledged, we were placed at a large, long table meant for a much bigger group instead of a booth--despite the fact that I was there with two kids. Meanwhile, the couples who came in after us were seated comfortably in booths. The experience only got worse from there. We sat for about 15 minutes without any service at all--no drinks, no acknowledgment--while I watched other customers who arrived after us get attended to right away. My daughter even asked, "Daddy, where are our drinks?" which was really upsetting. At that point, I decided to leave. No one should feel overlooked or treated differently when simply trying to enjoy a meal with their kids. I hope this location takes a serious look at how they treat their customers and works to improve both their service and fairness moving forward. read more

We've been coming here for years to supply pizzas for family dinners. Whether it's getting the family out for a dine in experience, or (more frequently) grabbing take out to bring home we can count on LaRosa's for consistent and quality food. Our family has a variety of tastes so typically we end up ordering a few pies each time. On our latest visit we ended up with six different pizzas and french fries and everyone was happy. Would I say that LaRosa's is the best pizza ever, sorry no. Would I say that their pizza tastes like childhood memories and fun night with family, definitely. It's one of those reliable meals that hasn't changed in thirty years and that's why we love them. I used to love coming here because of the dietary accommodations they offered. However, they recently took away the vegan meat toppings and now took away the gluten-free pizza! A lot of other menu changes too such as drink selections changed. I didn't know this when I came, so they said they still had a few gf crusts in the back. BF ordered the royal witu friee not baked, I ordered steak with mushroom sauce and fries. It was taking a bit so our server came to tell us they were remaking our hoagies as they mixed up the sauces. I really had trouble with the taste of my sandwich. I looked at the inside of the bun and it seems there was tomato sauce scraped off the bread. Guess they could not spring for a new piece of bread. Even when their busy they are always nice and accommodating. Everyone is quick but still willing to have a conversation, which is rare in post-COVID dining. Tips for making your visit a success: 1) If you're doing carry out, order ahead and go through the drive thru. Even when there is a long line it moves quick. 2) Try the Diablo sauce. It doesn't matter what you ordered, just get some and thank me later. 3) Don't forget your deals. A couple dollars off of your meal can be added to your servers tips. My wife grew up here and has a fondness for their sauce, so despite my better senses, I buy the two of us a large pepperoni, extra cheese pan every week or two. My wife says the pizza used to be a lot better than it is now. That's not saying much. Hardly any pepperoni. Maybe 1 slice per piece of pizza. One or two slices might have a little extra cheese, but rest of pizza has mainly crust and sauce. I would describe this pizza as the kind one might buy to feed a bunch of children at a birthday party. I can get that kind of pizza for half the price of this if I want to be disappointed every time. 07.11.2022 Ordered food for my crew tonight since I was in town. First order, the delivery guy dropped the food as he walked in the door. No problem, accidents happen. Second time, order remade, looks as if the food was in the back seat of one of the drivers from Fast and Furious. Had to call and ask for a refund... White Oak LaRosa's has had a great upgrade! Although traffic getting into the parking lot can be a bit challenging (either a turn off busy Cheviot Rd, or a blind turn off Jessup if coming up the hill - but not sure what can be done, just be careful!) Pasta combo meals have become our favorite, a nice combination of soup or salad and main dish. Lunch and dinner options and sizing to match make for quick easy choices! Pizza has always been a favorite, but... losing 1 star for inconsistent preparation and shrinking pan sizes! I honestly think they simply renamed their prior "large" size as "extra large" and the same on down the line (no proof of this other than what feels like mediums of old when we order a large!) read more

On a large pizza with several toppings you could hardly find any of the toppings. This location sucks. I just moved back to the city. I've ordered now twice from this location. Both times I did pick up. The first time, I ordered a salad with banana peppers that was $1 extra and only had TWO small slices of banana peppers. Had to call and I got a credit which was honestly stupid. I really am not one to complain but charging me $1 for two slivers of banana peppers was ridiculous. Now my second order, I used the drive thru pick up and the cashier asked me to pull up because they "are waiting for something". What ever that means? What ever, that's fine but I finally get home and I am missing the diablo sauce I ordered and my royal hoagie has barely any sauce either. It automatically comes with Italian and I added mayo (weird I know) so the sandwich should almost be dripping, but it's dry. What can I say; I am a hometown, Cincinnati guy. LaRosa's is my go to pizza for just about any event. This visit was lunch time and there were 10 of us. We were surprised at how busy there were for a Thursday. We were sat and taken care of immediately. Our server was just about as pleasant as she could be. The food arrived fast and was delicious. One medium seemed a little smaller than the rest but that wasn't an issue at all. Overall, very good experience just as we expected. My husband drove to LaRosa's at 7:40pm. he asked if our order was done and the clerk told him it was done about 45 minutes ago.
