The customer service was horrible. I came in the door waited to be serviced, never greeted, and 3 women were in the back working. I waited for 5 more minutes and got their attention to assist. Went here because the dry cleaners I was using for close to two decades closed for good. I will NOT return here at all. They pressed my dirty clothes without cleaning them and returned them to me. I have used this cleaners on other occasions and found they did relatively well; however, I took my white robe with gold trim to be cleaned. I wanted special attention to be paid to the color--that was where the dirt was located. When I picked up my robe to wear to Communion services, there was some sort of yellowish-brownish stain on both sleeves, as well as all around the bottom of the robe. I returned it to be cleaned again--which they did. Only problem--stains were still there. I took it back another time and most of the stains were removed; however, new stains appeared. They claimed that they tried to get it out--BUT, it wasn't there in the beginning. I'm so frustrated and afraid that they will ruin it even more. A wardrobe malfunction led me to Largo cleaners. Specifically, the zipper on my layered heavy lace dress got stuck. In my angst to get on my way, I broke a few teeth (on the zipper) in the process. Previously, I took the dress to 2 cleaners and both tailors quickly declined saying "too hard". I presented it at Largo cleaners expecting additional disappointment. Instead I heard, when do you need it? They replaced my zipper & pressed my white lace dress. It was perfect again! I paid just under $30, but it was worth it. If you need a highly experienced seamstress, come here. You won't regret it. read more

I've tried them several years ago for convenience as I live around the corner. I had a silk blouse with fully pleated sleeves and made sure to ask them to make sure the pleats are back in place and not ironed flat. Well, they ironed them completely flat, not one pleat remained in the blouse. This week I decided to try them again. I took a two piece dress suit that has a beaded front. I did not check it well enough before leaving the cleaners and when I got home I noticed MANY spots where the beads were missing. I seems they just iron right over the beads and if they got pull off during the ironing process, they just kept going. I have four suits there now and once I pick them up, i will NEVER return. If anyone know a good cleaners in the Largo area, please post. STAY AWAY FROM LARGO CLEANERS IF YOU LIKE YOUR WARDROBE, THEY WILL DAMAGE PIECES WITHOUT A DOUBT. read more

Ok everyone. This type of stuff pisses me off. It's something about spending your money on an item you love, take it to the cleaners and they COMPLETELY destroy your item and on top of that refuse to give you your money back. Well that's what happened to me at Largo Cleaners 824 Largo Center Drive. As black and brown people we DESERVE to be treated better than how we are treated WE spend TONS of MONEY but yet we are treated like crap!!! The lady REFUSED to give me my money back and called me a liar. I paid $19 dollars for my item to be altered. I asked that the straps that were too long to be shortened and put back. Look at the picture below. This is what Largo Cleaners did to my swim suite. The other picture is how it's supposed to look(lined up, even on both sides). It's one thing to make and obvious mistake and rectify the situation. It's another to make an obvious mistake and call your customer a LIAR. I have been using this cleaners for the past six months, simply out of sheer convenience. The work is below average, but like a fool, I contiued to go simply because it was the closest cleaners to me. Recently, one of my shirts was completely shredded. There were holes throughout the entire shirt. Upon discovering this, I called and mentioned my findings to the gentleman. The owner said, "Do not worry. Bring to me. I will take care of you." I came back to the establishment and he refused to credit me. To add insult to injury, he had in his possession additional clothes that belonged to me and refused to relinquish until I paid the full amount--despite promising that he would issue a credit to my bill due to the mishap. He began to yell at me, saying that it was not his fault. The shirt is completely ruined. I would upload a picture if I could. ABSOLUTELY UNETHICAL. I would not recommend this cleaners to anyone. read more

this place seems to change management every few years. it's almost always run by a married couple with a grumpy, onery wife and a sweet, passive husband. the latest management set/couple currently running it is actually very nice (both of them) and, as with all the previous couples, the service is consistent. turn-around time is great (from same day to one week, depending on what you're having done, but on average 2 to 3 days), and i've never had any problem with loss, stains, etc. i like that they seem to employ young people from the community, and they give lolipops to kids of customers while they're waiting. (sometimes i wish my kid was still little so we could get some candy.) i also like that besides standard dry cleaning they do lots of kinds of repairs because i can't sew (not even a button on) to save my life but i'm pretty hard on some of my favorite garments. i don't like that while their dry cleaning prices are very reasonable, their repair prices are sometimes high. $15+ for my skirt zipper repair? WTH?! i think, "i really need to learn to sew." but, instead i curse my mother for giving me these wide child-bearing hips, and i pay and take my good-as-new garments home. it all evens out because if you bring a lot of clothes in they almost always give you a garment or two cleaned for free out of the bunch. they take the wire hangars back, so do the green thing and recycle yours with them if you don't keep them for your own hanging at home. oh, and they also give regular customers a nice big bag w/ a drawstring for you to use at home/cart your to-be-cleaned clothes to them in. free advertising for them, i suppose, but i also like that i get a sort of portable dry-cleaning-hamper and i feel like santa claus when i drop off my clothes to them. you know...if instead of "merry christmas," santa said, "ho! ho! ho!...here's my dirty clothes!" read more

Terrible customer service!!! Took my money promising to alter my dress in two days, came back in two days and was running late (rush hour), I give a courtesy call to assure them I would be there in just a few minutes. The owner hangs up on me and refuses to answer. Forcing me to go purchase another dress two hours before the stores close and the night before my event. THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE!! I never leave reviews, this is my first. Had to share my experience. I normally go here out of convenience and never had an issue until today. Went to get a dress hemmed. I had 2 dresses I tried on but decided to go with only one. After the seamstress (owner I believe) pinned I then proceeded to the cashier at which time she told me it was $70 to hem the dress since 2 layers. My response respectfully 'ma'am I am sorry but I'll have to take the dress back did not realize it was gonna be so much' she then decreased the price to $65, I again declined the service, $60 I again declined. She said 'you been here long trying on', still at this point did not give me back my dress, had to ask her for it 3 times. If there was an option for 0 stars that would be my preference. She was disrespectful and management needs to realize the importance of customer service. Why should I be forced to pay for something that wasn't done? Essentially she is implying I should've paid her because she pinned the dress for hemming and spent time doing this. I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

Largo Cleaners always blame the customer when the ruin or loose customers garments. The female mumbles the English language when they don't want to address the issue of ruining your clothes or loosing them. She brush you off and tries to assure you that your don't know what you saying to discourage you. In her head she thinks this will make it all go away. I was overcharged for cleaning of a new dress they ruined and refused to compensate me for it. When you point out a problem to them, they start to provide poor service to discourage you. They should take ownership when they've made a mistake. They try to run you away if you check your clothing before leaving the cleaners. Poor business management skills. read more

Prior until today I did not have any issues with Largo cleaners but my feelings have changed. Today I went to pick up my cleaning and was told that my dress was damaged. I understand mistakes can be made but instead of them apologizing for their error, they first blamed it on the dress and when I told them that they had dry cleaned this same dress before they accused me of lying and told me that they had never dry cleaned it before. They did not offer to give me any monetary compensation for the dress and continued to accuse me of lying. I of course told them that they lacked integrity and had poor customer service and that I would never come back to their cleaners. That is it for me I will find another cleaners, I was treated poorly, and they ruined my dress and they had no remorse for their behavior and error. read more

My first time visiting this cleaners and after picking up my dry cleaning yesterday, trust me that I'll never use this cleaners again. Absolutely horrible service. While they are polite their cleaning leaves a lot to be desired. I took in 5 sweaters, 2 pairs of pants and 2 blouses. I pay good money for my clothes and expect quality cleaning service. They had the audacity to hang my sweaters on wire hangers which leaves indentations from the hanger in the shoulder. Who does that????? When I asked why they didn't fold my sweater over a hanger they told me, it cost extra for folding - what????? Also, I need to find out what kind of cleaning product they use as 1 pair of pants which I bought last winter looks old and worn, and my sweaters have lost their luster. Wondering if their cleaning solution is up to code. I will do my research and find out if there are any violations. 2 of my sweaters were turtle necks. I should have taken a picture of the sloppy job around the neck. And oh, I failed to mention 2 of my sweaters were wrinkled. Okay, my last complaint, 1 of the blouses has pleats around the neck, why were the pleats not ironed down. Again, who does that???? I was so disgusted when I left that cleaners and are giving you fair warning to stay away from this establishment. I will try Mitchellville cleaners next. Lord let that one be better. read more
