They arrived and returned clothes when they said they would and clothes were neatly folded, smelled amazing and I was extremely happy with my experience from beginning to end. I will definitely be using them again and have shared my satisfaction with people I know . The valuable service you offer is definitely worth the price point! I was in a serious debacle trying to wash clothes in my own building that I had to google this…read moreplace because I wanted to try it specifically. From the outside it appears to be clean, inviting, and never busy. Once I arrived, it was very clean, smelled good, organized, excellent service from the staff, and it was very spacious. Bonus to this place is that it is not coin operated. You will need to purchase a laundry card and add the funds . . . how neat! In hindsight the machine in my building not working saved me from walking up & down the steps and only doing 2 loads at a time. I arrived at 11 and was back home by 1:35 and that was after washing, folding, putting clothes in bag, and walking to the carry-out and liquor store. I might ditch the convenience of washing clothes again in my building and go to the neighborhood laundry mat and get it done much faster!

I had put my clothes in the machine, put my soap, put my card in and went to push start and the machine was giving an error that the water was low and it wouldn't let me start the machine. I went to call the guy for help and I said hello to him, he didn't say anything back. I went to the machine and he followed me and tried to start it but it didn't work so he restarted the machine. He then walked away from me not saying anything so I kept saying "excuse me, excuse me" and he just kept walking. He finally turned around and I asked him was he going to refund me the money the card took, he said that was what he was going to do....WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY ANYTHING THEN?? He came back and restarted the machine and it was still giving the same error message. He then told me to move my clothes to a different machine and I was trying to explain to him that I already put the soap in the machine and he just kept repeating "move it to another machine then proceed to yell at me "what did I say!?" and that I don't listen and started pulling his ear while yelling at me that I don't listen. That was utterly rude...I am not his child and there was no reason for him to get loud and disrespectful with me.

American Mega Laundromat has been a life and sanity saver for me…read more I've been using American Mega Laundromat for years, and they've consistently provided excellent service. Since becoming a single mom, their pickup and fold service has become an absolute game changer for me. I work full-time and juggle my toddler's busy schedule, so finding time for laundry can be tough -- but they make it effortless... not to mention my laundry feels clean! I've used Rinse but American Mega is way better. The staff is always kind, professional, and reliable. A special shoutout to Tony, the delivery driver -- he's incredibly courteous and always goes the extra mile. It's rare to find a business that treats customers like family, but American Mega Laundromat truly does. If you're looking for a trustworthy, convenient laundry service with amazing people behind it, I can't recommend them enough!

I worked with this company years ago (2015) for business purposes, so when the laundry machines…read morewere offline in my apartment building, I tried them again. I went to their website, downloaded the app, and scheduled a pickup for the next day. I was meticulous and bagged my items by type (40 degrees, 30 degrees, and gentle cycle). I used trash bags and then weighed them. The driver called me the day of and gave me a window of time and came directly to my 8th floor apartment door with a giant, rolling bin to pickup my four bags. He is the hero of this story. When the cleaners had questions, he called me. Then we picked a time for him to drop-off based on my schedule. My clothes came back in clear, plastic bags all folded and yes, smelled clean. I could track everything in the app and the receipt was sent to me via email with the breakdown. My weight (of clothes) matched theirs and I was not surprised by the bill. Overall, I would do it again!

Today was my first experience patronizing Wave Max-Capital Heights. I tell you what, I will NOT be…read morethe first one to mar their stellar 5-Star rating. I found the establishment to be immaculate on the inside and that INCLUDES the restroom. Sometimes the restroom is the forgotten part of some businesses and its maintenance is a mere afterthought. Not so here. The attendant Betty was extremely knowledgeable and helpful--along with funny to boot. I explained to her that I was a first-time user and she guided me through the procedures to get my wash done along with what machine might serve me best. She was right. The state-of-the art Electrolux machines were more than adequate. They even have countdown LED timers on the front to tell you how much time remains to complete your wash. And just a brief word on the location. Some people might hear the words Addison Road S. and Capital Heights and have negative connotations. Well leave those preconceived notions at the door. I understand the business to be black-owned and you can tell from the outset that the owner has not shortchanged the African American community by any means and has provided a first rate, quality facility that would be the envy of ANY community. It even has Wi-Fi--although I haven't actually made use of it yet. Pleasant background music which to me means old school R&B. While most people dread laundry day and I won't say that I'm any different, but if you have to do laundry this is the place to be. "IF YOU DON'T KNOW, NOW YOU KNOW." Kudos, WaveMax Tony R.
