I was backed up with loads of laundry after a busy month. So when I returned from a trip with many items in my bag still damp, I finally took the plunge and gave Rinse a try. I had been considering using Rinse for over a year now. But each time, the lack of transparency in pricing kind of held me back. I would also then just put back on my practical thinking cap and tell myself that I just needed to hunker down and spend an entire day just focused on laundry. But desperate times can be quite motivating (as well as feeling overwhelmed) so I set up an account and began the process. I really only sent away items for the wash and fold service that if destroyed or lost would not be upsetting - towels, socks, t-shirts, sweatshirts ...much of which were bulky and just took up a lot of space to wash in multiple loads. Once I selected my preferences for my laundry, coordinating the pick up and drop off were amazing. They were so communicative, professional and always arrived on time. Since I selected 24 hr turnaround, it was so nice to be able to have three duffle bags of laundry returned, washed, folded and ready to put away. Plus, the folding skills were often better than mine and saved some space while I was putting them away. Is your laundry going to smell as good as when you do it yourself? No. Is it going to be fluffy? No. But it will be clean. And the peace of mind and time saved was very much worth it especially if you're cramped for time. I'll likely use Rinse again (especially since I paid for the duffel bags they returned my laundry in) and appreciate the service they offer should I need it! read more

I only sent two bags, and I still haven't received my clothes back. On top of that, I was charged $100, which is not what I agreed to or expected based on the quoted price. At this point, I'll be disputing the charge with my bank and I won't be using this app again. The washing and folding that Rinse provides are as good as that of any similar service. The washing process is pretty standard and is not what distinguishes them from any other company. The difference is in the individual care and attention they devote to every individual customer. They meticulously follow your instructions about pickup and delivery and about the washing products you want them to use. They remind you when pickup is scheduled, notify you when the driver is en route, alert you as the driver arrives, and tells you when the pickup is complete. Then they check with you to see how everything went. They will arrange for any special instructions and take care of any tip you might want to offer. They handle deliveries with the same attentiveness. And they always check on your satisfaction with the whole process. I swear, you would think they were worried parents checking to Mae sure everything was OK with you! Their invoices are clear and accurate. Just received my first batch of clean clothes from Rinse and I'm impressed. I found out about Rinse during a Google church for someone to help with my laundry. I signed up for my first pick up to occur on Saturday, March 4th. Rinse messaged me on the Tuesday before my pickup and then the day of my pick up they messaged me that morning with a window of time they would arrive. A few hours before the valet arrived, they sent me a message with an exact time they would arrive. The valet texted me their ETA when they were in route. When they picked up the clothes, I just left the clothes by the door and they picked it up and left me my official rinse bags. Once they were picked up, I was notified. The day before my clothes were scheduled to be dropped off, I was noticed again about the window of time of drop off and the valet messaged me their ETA when they were in en route. They gave me a drop off option that I had to authorize before they could leave my clean clothes by the door. If you don't authorize them to leave the clothes, they will take them back and reschedule your delivery. Once I received my blankets and coat, they were nice and clean. I used Rinse for the first time for a few items for dry cleaning. They have a quick turnaround time of 2-3 days. Their pickup window is pretty late (between 8:00pm-10:00pm) which could be a deterrent for some people. While my clothes were cleaned, they had a musty smell when returned, definitely not the smell of freshly cleaned laundry (the wash and dry service may be different). Overall, if you are in a pinch and need your laundry done, this could be a service to consider. read more

I've been using Rinse for about two months now and I love it! Scheduling pick ups are easy, the drivers do a great job of pickups and drop offs, and I'm kept up to date with the timing via text. The quality of the laundering is very good! The detergent used is good, cleans well, and for our sensitive skin, hasn't caused any issues. The laundry is folded well, socks matched and neatly stacked in the bags. The pickup bags hold a lot of clothes - maybe two loads of dirty laundry. I ask why he has dry cleaning bags and he says he didn't know I ordered a wash and fold. He proceeded basically tell me I had no choice but to cancel the order. The first time I used this service was November 2021 and they did a great job. I used the service several times thereafter until Sept 2024. These people lost some items, faded my clothes, and I'd get different information whenever I spoke to people. One lady went as far as to tell me she was a supervisor when she was not. What deception. She's no longer there...GOOD! In the end, I got several items refunded because they could not get the color back to my items that were color faded, and some items were never found. I'd never been so disappointed. In all of this, I discovered that they DO NOT WASH CLOTHES IN WARM OR HOT WATER, THEY DO NOT SEPARATE WHITES, COLORS, OR DARK CLOTHES. One so-called supervisor had me separate all my clothes knowing that they wash all colors (light, colored, and dark) together, place them in a big washer at a local laundromat, and wash them in cold water with second-rate detergents! Have you ever used a service, not liked it, then tried it again some time later because you couldn't remember why you didn't like it, and are then promptly reminded? That's Rinse for me. Their valets are good. Delivery timeline options are good. Price is a bit high but they're delivering so I get it. Wash and Fold is OK. But the main reason I wanted to use them was for shirts and they're consistently terrible. Almost every time I've used them the shirts arrive creased or wrinkled. Most recently the provider they use didn't button the top button on any of the shirts or properly iron the neck. The result was the necks folded on themselves and wrinkled badly. I contacted Rinse and sent them photos - they're responsive over text - and they apologized and gave me a whole $5 credit. So I was without my shirts for several days, still have to iron them myself, and they keep most of my money for a terrible job. Having been reminded about why I stopped using them I hope I don't I'm not forgetful again a year from now. read more

I used Rinse for the first time, been using a different service which i am really happy with but they had a coupon so thought id give it a try. It is all fancy and clothes come in their own logo bag etc. But the sticker shock i got when i received the clothes was insane. I had one comforter, 5 very light rectangle tablecloths, 3 tops 2 shorts all wash n fold (not dry cleaning) I was charged $274 to wash and fold that much. Their app does not specify much, other than being charged per lb and a set price for comforter. I paid half of the price to buy those items that i was charged to wash them. Upon contacting them, they realized they made a "mistake" and yes i had never said dry cleaning and they had dry cleaned all the other items. $30 for each tablecloth and $12 for every item... WT@#$. They said they would give me a one time courtesy refund. What? it was their fault not mine, and charged me for 30lbs instead when my load was no more that 8lbs. They refunded part of the payment but not full but in turn charged me for $30lbs.. They must be good and clean clothes, but i get mine done from another service for less than half the price and they do a darn good job. Mind you this is after the $20 coupon i got sucked into. Or i would have been paying over $300 to wash clothes. Consider other companies, do your research and make sure you read and check double check your order and bill, if i was one to not check and just pay, they could charge me anything and i wouldn't know. If you have designer super expensive clothes, this may be good but for that price..no thank you. read more

I love this service I really do. There are two downfalls. I checked that it is a reasonable value when it is a little pricey. The only other issue is that my laundry can only be picked up in the evening between eight and ten. This can be a challenge for this 65 yr old lady. However, it gives a part time job opportunity to people that really need a second job with limited hours. Growing up, my father always did his Air Force duties and a second job with my mom also working to support the family. So I very much sympathize with this much needed p/t job. Otherwise, I absolutely love it. My clothes are picked up at my door, washed, folded, and returned to my door. I live in a condominium and I am physically handicapped so it's nice that they come to my door. I definitely do recommend the service. read more

UPDATE: I have to change my 4 star review to a 2 star after my experience today. I scheduled a pickup in the morning, it was confirmed. They then stated it wouldn't be one day turnaround again even though that's their guarantee for rinse repeat members. They stated it would be two day turnaround, which is better than last week's 3 day turnaround, but still not the service I pay for. Then, at 7:53pm just 25 minute before my pickup is scheduled, they cancel my pickup altogether. For the "inconvenience" I was offered a $10 credit. This is nuts, the service I pay for is no longer being provided these past two weeks. Unless they get their act together, I suggest staying away. I currently am waiting on my backordered washer and dryer, so I needed a temporary service for laundry. I have the rinse repeat 4 bags plan, their highest option. I have used it a month now and it serves it's purpose. My clothes come back clean and folded which is appreciated. The drivers all seem fine at pickup and dropoff, the directions the site gives though don't always match what the drivers do, so that was a little confusing as a new customer. Essentially just set your laundry outside, no drivers knock or ring doorbells, they expect it outside before they arrive and they don't want to meet you at drop off. They just drop and run. Nonetheless my biggest hiccup yet was this past weekend. With the repeat plan they promise 1 day turn time, but they couldn't meet that this past laundry bag. They did reach out in advance to warn me, but it wasn't even a one day delay, it was a two day delay in my laundry, so 3 days total when the service I pay for is supposed to be 1 day. I hope it goes back to normal for my next bag. I won't use them after I get my washer and dryer delivered, but it should at least fill in my needs until whenever that arrives. read more

Update 2: Day 10 arrived, received text saying that it jacket still required extra afternoon, and will take 4 additional days to be returned. Update 1: We sent the coat back to Rinse, and the website indicated we would receive the jacket back in 10 days. We received our dry cleaning back this evening and were shocked by the new stains that appeared all over my favorite winter coat. There were new blueish/black blotches ALL OVER the jacket. I don't know what happened, I have never seen this before. We emailed Rinse immediately and will see how they resolve the situation. read more

The young men Franklyn had an awful attitude saying that I wasn't suppose to use my own laundry bags but I wasn't aware I apologized about it he rolled his eyes and said "ughh". He then proceeded to his car to grab the rinse bags throwing the bags around which was unnecessary continued to roll his eyes I was being nothing but nice to him trying to help him I then told him to have a goodnight and ignored me. This is a fabulous service. I have been using them for about 6 months on a consistent basis. 1. The folks that come to pickup and deliver ALWAYS are in uniform, so that is very much appreciate. They are also quick (but you need to be ready)....they grab and go! They are super professional and always have a smiling face....service with a smile 2. The AI they use is outstanding! They give you a time frame around 3-4 ish and then 5-10 minutes before they arrive you get a text saying they will show....and they do! 3. I do wash and fold, hang dry, and the dry clean. The hang dry is always DRY (fantastic!) the wash and fold are folded PERFECTLY! If you are a fan of Kon Mari, you just need to flip the folded clothes twice and they are ready to go!!! Disclaimer: I use wash and fold for all my t-shirts, towels, sweaty gym clothes, sheets, etc.....anything that Is a hand wash item I end up doing myself (like my ex-officio clothes). 4. Dry cleaning is dry cleaning .......cannot really tell if any better than anywhere else, BUT they have never lost OR damaged anything 5. Sometimes I am too lazy or will forget to place and order....boom....about once every other day I get a message in the am saying 'Rinse will be in your area tonight, would you like us to stop by and pick up? This entails me working out about 2-3 times a day. Getting up at 4am to work out, then coming home from work and doing it all over again after dinner with the family and putting kid to bed. Thus, I depend on Rinse for all my workout gear (especially the myriad of t shirts!). Another thing that I greatly depend on is my $200.00 Apple Air Pods. Basically use them for runs to 'get me through' and also so I don't disturb the family when I am pounding it out at 4am in the basement! Over a week ago I couldn't find them and was totally beside myself. I knew I could just go and buy a new pair, but why? They are pretty pricey and I have more important things to worry about.....but I was still crushed. Lo and behold, bottom of my wrapped clothes, taped to a receipt were the AirPods! And they work perfectly!!!! So ANYONE could have EASILY pocketed them and that would have been it and I wouldn't have known the difference. This is a testament NOT ONLY to the character of RINSE employees, but the commitment and values of RINSE leadership! I know it may be a simple thing, but it was and is of great importance to me! When the process works, it is good. However, when it doesn't, buyer beware. Rinse lost an order. Valet lied to me about it, saying I did not answer the door, and therefore he didn't leave the order. Checking the surveillance camera, the valet arrived with nothing and lied in his message to me. Now, they will only refund the amount via "credit" or by accessing my bank account and routing number. They will not simply cut a check and send to me. Needless to say, I am not comfortable giving this information to such an outfit. Buyer beware. read more

So we tried Rinse in the Washington DC area and they were superb. Every step was a 5 star experience. From the easy to use app to pick up confirmations and delivery estimates it was an easy and comfortable experience. The best part was that they kept in touch throughout via text messages. Considering I live in a building where there are not nearly enough washers, Rinse has been a game changer for me. This company is very reliable. The pickup and drop-off staff are very pleasant and professional. The packaging is great. The only problem is that I routinelu select scented fabric softener and oxi for my whites. The whites are never bright, and the laundry has no smell. Moving forward, it's gonna be a hard no.
