Is an Honorable business. They mishandled an item but have satisfied me with their response.

Will definitely be coming back! Their manager is AWESOME. My coats look brand new. I brought in 6…read morecoats and they were ready so quickly. Amazing customer service on the phone and in person. Their front desk staff are also so wonderful, kind, and helpful. I live all the way in Silver Spring MD and will be making the drive just to come here. They are incredible and really handled my expensive coats with care. They also found everything so quickly when I came to pick up which just goes to show how organized they are. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I was highly recommended to bring larger items here, like my comforter, and based on my first…read moreexperience, I understood why. The initial service was impeccable, which is why I decided to return. I'm giving two stars out of grace for that first visit. Unfortunately, my second experience with the exact same item was disappointing. When I picked up my comforter, I noticed small specks of lint scattered across it. I brought this to the manager's attention, and while she insisted she personally handled my item and attempted to remove the lint, that explanation didn't align with the final result. If the issue couldn't be resolved, I should have been notified before leaving--not after I had to point it out myself. I did receive a refund, which I appreciate, but I genuinely wanted this to work. It seemed like the manager had already made up her mind that nothing further could be done, and there was no real effort to try to resolve the issue. At that point, I simply asked for my item back so I could take it somewhere that handles items with more care and attention to detail. It honestly made me question whether my comforter was mixed in with others during the process, especially since I take great care in maintaining it, including regularly steam disinfecting it at home. What was also frustrating was that instead of focusing on my concern, the manager began explaining how other customers' items can come in, as if I was expected to sympathize. My only concern was the condition of my item. Based on this experience, I would recommend keeping it simple here--stick to everyday dry cleaning. I would not suggest bringing larger bedding items like comforters or duvet covers, as the quality and attention to detail may not be consistent.

This is the second dry cleaner I've tried since I moved to this area in April. The first, Festival…read moreCleaners, was alright, but not the friendliest. I was hoping to find a less expensive cleaner, and this was one of a few local places I rang yesterday morning the 21st. I asked the gentleman who answered the phone for a price on laundering and pressing a pair of dress trousers. His response was a price of $3.50, ready for pick-up from the following morning. I asked if there were any special deals his business offered and on which days, and he said this price was a special deal. I thought this sounded great, so I punched the address into Waze and drove on over. On arrival, however, I met with the same man whom I had spoken with on the phone only twenty minutes prior. All of a sudden, the price to launder and press my dress trousers was no longer $3.50, but $6. I asked for clarification based on the info I got over the phone, but he said that the price was not $3.50. He did not say he had misinformed me and/or apologize for any confusion or miscommunication, but just that the $3.50 was not correct. He said that the only special they had was a "3 for 2", which I've realized many dry cleaners in this area tend to promote. I thought this was a bit odd, and I did not bother to point out that there was also a hand-painted sign outside his open-door that read something to the effect of a 20% discount everyday. Already realizing that I was likely not going to frequent this establishment going forward, and needing to have my trousers laundered, I simply went along with the transaction. I happened to have a sweater in my truck so I thought I'd toss it into the mix as well. Unfortunately for me, he did not offer to give me a raincheck for the 3rd "free" item despite having misinformed me of the actual pricing structure - I basically lost out on it for not having a third piece to launder on the spot. No big worry I suppose, I know now for future reference. As I walked away from the counter and through the doorway, he called out to me on the parking lot and told me that my items would be ready for collection after 5pm the following day. He had over the phone however told me that items would be ready for pick-up the next morning - but now it was not to be until after 5pm. I picked-up my items about 5:15pm today, and they seemed fine. No stains or burn marks or any of the dreaded signs of abuse some people tend to experience from time to time at dry cleaners. But the inconsistency of the experience did not endear them much to me.

I came on a Thursday and was told to return Friday because they were not finished. Sometimes this service is needed expeditiously due to deployment. This place should not be used for contracting. The people are super nice, but business is business. This is not the first or last instance of this type of situation. Neighborhood is a little bit of a security risk....
