If you've ever tried to find street parking in Flushing, then you know how real the struggle is!! My suggestion is just pay for parking in one of the local parking lots or garages. The Cumin Lamb Burger was delicious! Savory and moist with a subtle hint of spicy heat that was just right. Only $8 with a bottle of water. Will definitely be back to try the hand pulled noodle soup with Cumin Lamb.

You can't miss them, as they are among the many tempting food stalls located on the lower level. Their line is a bit longer than others but well worth the wait. I was mesmerized by the sight of hand pulled noodles, made to order right before my very eyes. I was excited to taste, and the decision to get either noodles in soup or stir fried was a tough one. I ordered the house special stir fried noodles after some hesitation as I really am a fan of it served both ways. The noodles were bouncy in texture and were really good. Unfortunately I do not have a comparison as this is my first time eating Chinese hand pulled noodles. For me the flavors were well balanced and what can I say about portion size? It's plenty to share and that's a real plus. I was not disappointed and I hope to try their other noodle dishes on my next visit! Side note, this is a cash only stall. Bring a fair amount, as a lot of vendors do not take the card here.

You get your food on the counter in the back of the restaurant. There is a fixin bar with scallion, cilantro and sauces. The broth was plain and beef was nothing special. But after attacking the fixin bar the broth becomes what you want either sweet or spicy. Indeed you can refill your rice noodles, bring your bowl back and the lady will refill along with broth. I did this 1x but will do more next time. Bathroom is available Will come back. Maybe not the best quality but functionality and pricing is a nice setup.

Today was no exception, after roaming through the food court at Eat Up without a decision, we settled with Chong Qing Noodle at the New World Food Court. We haven't eaten here before. I asked the staff for their number one signature dish from this Sichuan city if Ching Qung. The answer came back without hesitation: the Minced Pork & Pea ($10.99). We also ordered the Pickled Cabbage & Beef Slices ($12.99). When the dishes were ready, I had to confirm if they were really my dishes because I had thought minced pork comes with dry noodle. Why? The minced pork gets lost and ends up at the bottom of the soup instead of clinging to the noodle like the Korean jajangmeon. The other dish, on the other hay, was on point. The fatty beef slices curled up like the hot pot meat, nice and tender. The noodle itself was a bit too thin for me.

The soup came with a huge variety of toppings, including beef, fish cakes, egg, veggies, and other things. The beef itself was tender and cooked well and the other toppings added to the overall tastiness of the soup. The soup itself was good, but a bit too spicy to drink a lot on its own. This place is located in New World Mall food court and cash only, so prepare in advance before coming. Overall, I would recommend this place if you want a quick meal in the Flushing food court.

The portions are very generous too, considering the low price of $11 for a large Spicy Lamb Noodle Soup, which had plenty of meat and toppings. Ordering might be confusing and I ended up walking to the counter, ordering, then later picking up my order, so maybe don't expect to be waited. I walked in and someone immediately said welcome to me as I came up to the counter and handed me the English menu. Luckily I had perused it online and discussed items with my mandarin speaking friends. I ordered the popular lamb burger, and the lamb haslet noodle soup (the organs of lamb). The person taking my order spoke English well enough, confirmed my order, told me the price, and I paid immediately. Due to language, I opted to just stand by the front to wait for my food. In that time the tables filled up so I did end up sharing one of the larger tables with several other people. My food came out quite quickly, and I sat down to eat. The noodles (which I watched being freshly pulled) were a great texture, meet was great though there wasn't a lot of it in the soup, and the broth was good! I added chili oil and msg and vinegar to it which was really great in bringing out every flavor. I also really enjoyed the lamb burger, which needed no modifications. I did end up taking that with me to to due to how filling the soup was. Both together were $17 for easily 2-3 meals person dependent. The people working were quite nice, someone even asked me how I liked it as I was bussing my table. The spot itself is quite casual, a lot of great options, huge serving sizes, and people seeming to really take their time there. Definitely a good stop to try in the area!
