They took our order quickly, my wife ordered a hamburger. At the 50 minute mark we asked the waitress what was the problem, she replied it was taking longer because we did not order appetizers. ???? That's a new one...At about the hour mark we got our meal and the hamburger was barely warm, it was raw, not rare,or medium rare, and definitely not medium which is what she ordered. And it was cold. They must have misplaced the order, and tried to get it out quick. My wife sent it back as it was inedible and not the requested order, and 10 minutes later when it came back again it was now rare, and I was now done with my meal. My order portion was very small, in fact the 4 slices of bacon were bigger then the main course. You would have thought I ordered bacon and cold mashed potatoes. The presentation was that of gathering leftover scraps and throwing it on a plate...."dinner in a pinch" Unfortunately We did not enjoy the meal at all. Nor did we eat together..the whole Point of dining out. This was very disappointing as we did enjoy our other visits. This was our 4th time there in the last 2 months. Why this place is so busy is beyond me, must be the generous sized cocktails because the food is absolutely insipid. the chef used to be somewhat inspired however he has lost his mojo. my incredibly fatty duckbreast with farro was unseasoned and arrived late and lukewarm. the beet salad was unseasoned and made with canned beets. the tuna was a gloppy presentation also unseasoned. At first this restaurant seems great, but after a few visits the facade seems to fade as I explored the menu. Please understand, I've had good meals here, but there are things that keep me from going back. Firstly, the prices on the menu warrant much better service/food. All of the waitresses are very lackluster in my experience - very cozy warm atmosphere/very cold servers... if I'm paying 30+ dollars on a meal, you should give a smile occasionally. My wife and I tried this place for a quiet night out. The atmosphere is really nice being in a restored old home. The ceiling is covered in doors. I had a pear and cheese salad that I absolutely loved. Flavor and presentation was fantastic. The short ribs were good but a little dry and bland for my taste. My husband and I had dinner here for Valentine's Day. We both ordered the Lobster Bisque to start which was delicious. I ordered the Risotto with Scallops while my husband had the Filet Mignon. The food was very tasty, my husband's steak was perfectly cooked. The only downfall of my dish was that the scallops were super overcooked and dry. The Landmark Inn offers a great selection of drinks, the staff was very friendly and the decor is original and very quaint. We'll be back to try some of the other dinner items soon. read more

We were on our way back to our home in Westchester from PA, and didn't know where to go for dinner. We Googled "restaurants in Warwick" and could not have found a better place! Although the parking lot was jammed, we called from the car to see if they could accommodate the two of us, and was told "of course". Luann took care of us! Love it!!! Best food in warwick. We have lived in warwick our whole lives but never thought to go here until last weekend. The pub area is super cozy and rustic, and with the great music maybe a little funky? Definitely a hidden gem. We started off with the pumpkin ravioli. It was PERFECT... so delicious a lightly sweet, a little salty (gorgenzola cheese) and the hazelnuts gave it a great crunch. We also got the flat bread which was equally as great, the truffle oil drizzled on top really gave it that extra punch. I had a burger, it was very juicy and flavorful on a what seemed to be a home made bun. My girlfriend got the scallop risotto for her entree, perfect risotto, scallops cooked perfectly. Overall the menu was so diverse and eclectic, as was the drink menu. The service was wonderful and attentive, friendly and down to earth. I will definitely be back. read more

This is our new favorite place. It's not fancy by any means. But the food and service speak volumes of their respect for the dishes they serve and the community who come into their establishment. The hostess is lovely and patient and always serves with a smile. The salt and pepper shrimp is amazing! Crispy, almost tempura-like, sprinkled with a unique seasoning that is slightly spicy. The crispy duck is like we've had in Chinatown, NYC, succulent with crunchy skin. The beef on a sizzling plate is just that - you could hear it coming before it gets to your table, and so tender. Excellent meal and even better atmosphere. My wife and I met friends for dinner on a Friday night. Beer and drink selection was very adequate (would love to see more beer selection, but what they had on tap was good). In addition to all the popcorn one can eat, we had Calamari and Flatbread as Apps, both good and a great bargain for the amount of food. Another in the group had a pear/Gorgonzola salad (NOT stingy with the cheese!). Entrees were great...I had pulled pork and the wife had cannelloni. Burgers and steak at the table also great. Our family has been going to the Landmark for special and not so special occasions for many years. We've found the food to always be very good to excellent, service attentive, and the Inn itself is just drop dead gorgeous, both in the main dining area and the bar. Mike, the owner, is great to talk with, very passionate about quality, pretty much an inspired soul. I know he's consulted with customers on gluten sensitivity and the Landmark does have wheat free foods. Our favorites in the bar area are gorgonzola steak, the house salad has a really nice dressing, soups are inventive and delicious, and in the main dining room, Risotto Of Pan Seared Sea Scallops is fantastic. I strongly recommend reservations, the inn is frequently SRO. read more

We have eaten here for many, many years. The food is fresh, the service is great. Everyone is very friendly. I think I have had everything on the menu. I loved them all. My favorite room is the bar room because it is more intimate dinning. All of the menus are avaialble in the bar room. This is definitely a 5 Star restaurant. read more

The wine list features some very high quality and some high value wines. The service is also better than average. I have always left feeling satisfied. Second visit, very nice architecture. I remember the food/service to be better. Lobster ravioli was good. Chicken and seafood dish, was delivered with cold chicken, it didn't even looked cooked. Braised short ribs were overcooked, the waiter looked puzzled, when I asked for a steak knife, had to bring another because he only brought one, there were two meat dishes. I had to move my own place setting to my seat, as the water boy did not take the hint when I told him, "I sat in the wrong seat." I don't mind paying for good food, ~24 per entree, but this meal and service are not worth the price point. The bar looked full, I will likely try that if I ever make it there again. read more

Not sure how to describe this interesting restaurant. It is a very old building with a historic landmark plaque outside (hence the name) and not your usual restaurant. The corn chowder special was below average but everything else was top notch. My wife loved the filet and the desserts were spectacular. My wife especially loved the apple crumble dessert and I really enjoyed the pecan pie with house made bourbon ice cream. Definitely plan to return the next time we are in Warwick. read more

The staff was friendly, but thought they could just give you something similar to what you wanted hoping you wouldn't notice. Ordering a Diet Coke and getting an RC cola which was like drinking syrup. When I called them on it they were like oh you figured it out. We ordered a 2010 bottle of wine and a 2016 was brought to the table. You just don't bring a 2016 when someone orders a 2010. They are not the same. The french onion soup broth was sickly sweet. The cappuccino looked more like a toddlers effort to make a hot chocolate. The shrimp was fresh and tasty. The pasta that it came with was underwhelming. The duck I heard was very good. We went because it was farm to table. One would think it was reflected in everything. It wasn't. The Landmark Inn needs to be redone. It is so depressing. You walk-in and the ceiling is made up of doors, dark brown doors. It was 45 degrees outside and there was no heat. The heating elements were stone cold. So there never was the intention to put it on. You don't go to a restaurant and intend to sit in your coat. The curtains looked like they'd been there for 200 years. The chairs were so low and uncomfortable. It shocks me two young people are running this old barn of a place. Didn't feel charm. We drove an hour to eat there. Next time I'll drive into Manhattan. read more
