There is one counter where every customer must pony up to...and you MUST make more than eye contact with someone behind the counter to get service. However, once you've been greeted and asked what you're looking for, a plethora of electronics options are at your fingertips. They literally have everything you could possibly imagine, from spare computer parts, to printers, new desktops and laptops, and some random funky piece that completes your ultimate gaming system! Computers throughout the store can be demo'ed and used to access their online portal for simplicity of ordering your electronics needs. A…read morefriend of my daughter found Sam's Repair on Facebook Marketplace as someone who was selling refurbished MacBook laptops (It wasn't even listed on Yelp. I had to add the business to check-in and write the review). We originally went in to Sam's to purchase a used MacBook. When we went in and explained what we had and what we were doing, he encouraged us to not buy the one he had for sale but suggested we let him look at ours first to see if it was repairable. We had already upgraded the memory to a 1TB solid-state drive and it was much better than what he was selling. We left (Saturday) and returned on Monday with our laptop. He said since we were coming from so far away (League City) that we could wait while he looked at it. We hung out for an hour and he actually was able to fix the motherboard. He explained what he did but honestly it was over my head. I'm just glad it is working. The laptop he was selling was $550. He fixed ours for less than half that cost and warranted the work for 3 months. Granted, I'm writing this review a few short hours after the repair. Assuming the repair holds, he deserves the five stars. If for some reason that changes, I'll update my review. As for now, we are very pleased.

The office is located in an office building and I was a bit confused because in the building's directory, suite #225 is listed under another company name. But it's just because Doorstep Digital has their small office within another company's office. Really pleased with how my family photos turned out and will absolutely work with them again!

I spoke with the owner upon delivery of my first phase of loose photos, and he laid out different options based on my wants, needs and budget. I was kept in the loop and notified of phases being complete. I then sent a few very old photo albums, with sticky pages, and even those came out great in the scanning process. No shadow or lights like you might come across if you try to do this on your own. Amazing quality! I am very happy with the process and completion.

My only concern was that there were so few reviews, so I thought I owed it to Ty to give him the recognition that he deserves. My SSD was 99% degraded when I finally decided to get it replaced. Ty was extremely courteous and professional, and was able to replace my drive (upgraded from 128GB to 1TB) and have my laptop back to me the next day. 11/10 - would recommend his services to everyone. After shutting it down, it would no longer turn on. I had voided my warranty by opening it and wanted to take it somewhere that would not be crazy expensive but still good service. Anyway, their old location, "Laptops of Houston," had great reviews so I brought it here on a Friday. I asked them if it was the same staff and they said yes. It was $25 for them to take a look/diagnostic at my laptop. They were honest and said there was a good chance the damage may have gone to the motherboard. They told me they would give me a call on Monday. They did call me on Monday and said it was ready for pick up. They got my laptop up and running with a working mouse pad as well. I was so happy because I have had this laptop less than a year and I really needed it for school. It was $125 and their service was excellent.
