This is probably the dirtiest nail salon I have ever seen. Taylor, the owner is no where to be seen. This place needs a deep cleaning and the nail instruments as well. Sorry, really dirty from the stations, the floors, to the restroom.... the whole salon is sad! The electrical plates on the walls are hanging out.... I've NEVER seen anything like this before. I saw this nail salon next to my optometrist and thought to give it a try. I called to make an appointment at 5:30 pm and got there a few minutes earlier. Tyler, yes a female manicurist didn't start my nails until 5:50 pm (20 mins late). The first red flag I noticed she didn't wear any gloves! Then here comes the unusual part. She gave me the color swatches to choose from and I picked a color of my preference. She said "oh, don't pick that color because we had a lot of complaints the color will chip the next day". I found that very strange because they should purchased good quality nail polishes. And why would they offer to their customers knowing they are bad quality nail polishes?! With attitude she said "don't complaint to me later if you want to use that color". That's rude!! So I picked another color from other "recommended " swatches. Since I wanted matching colors I asked her to help finding the color closest to the one I picked for my pedicure. She replied with hesitation "whatever you see is all we have". OMG.. I never been to any nail salon like that. Guess what??? The nail polish chipped in few days too. Mind you, I did gel colors which supposed to last for at least 2 weeks. The quality of work was so bad. The nails were not properly shaped and filed. The worst manicure ever done! Avoid this nail place at all cause. read more

I was recommended to Tida by a few friends because I loved how their nails turned out, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, my experience was beyond disappointing. I showed her a few designs I liked, but the entire appointment felt extremely rushed. The acrylic was applied way too thick, several nails didn't match in length or thickness, and the colors looked absolutely nothing like the picture I showed her. To make matters worse, she cut me during the process and completely destroyed my natural nails by aggressively filing the back side of them. I went in for a fill and to have one nail fixed, and she charged me $60, claiming it was because I was a first-time customer. Most salons don't charge extra just because it's your first visit, especially for something as simple as a fill. The appointment took less than 30 minutes, and it felt rushed, careless, and unprofessional from beginning to end. I was so unhappy with the result that I had to go to another salon to have them fixed. The technicians there were shocked by how bumpy and thick the acrylic was and pointed out how rushed and poorly done the set was. After all that, I only received a $10 refund, which is completely unacceptable for the terrible service I received. I would never recommend this salon to anyone based on my experience. read more

For my first visit, I did a walk-in service when I saw this place after having lunch in the area. I got a mani and pedi. It was a very pleasant experience. I was very happy with my nails. And they provide great service. For $40, you get a manicure and pedicure plus hand and massage. On top of it, I also got a foot scrub. They were very efficient and skillful. I got flowers done on my 2 big toes. It lasted for a month. The nail polish and decorations were intact. I just had to get rid of them because my nails were growing out. I was not very happy withy 2nd visit because the lady dug too deep through my fingers and made both of my middle fingers, by the cuticle line, feel raw. It stung for a while whenever I washed my hands. This was both on my right and left fingers. My 2nd visit was not as desirable as my second one. Maybe it was a fluke. I'd like to caveat this review with... I am not one to complain or be knit picky when it comes to my nails. For the most part, I'm pretty easy going & easy to please. I am so sad. My pink and white set is the worst ever. My nail technician was rushing the entire time and had a really hard time applying the pink and white gel powder. I complained about how crooked the lines were to both the technician and the manager/owner and they did nothing to help the situation. Instead they still upcharged me $5 for a grand total of $50 for the messiest acrylic set I've had EVER. Photos show how terrible this set is. If my technician did not know how to do pink & whites, she should have informed me. If you like quality and attention to detail, especially for $50, then you should find another salon. My nails are awful after only a week. Won't be going back. Really liked LoAnn! She was really fast and I showed her a photo of what I wanted and she replicated it perfectly. The only thing is, I paid $45 for a full set because I wanted an almond shape and she even "gave me a discount" of $5 since I was a first time client. $45 is still on the high end and not sure why it would cost more to do almond when it takes no extra effort to do... never heard of that before. I think I finally found my nail place!! I went back for my second time and Lily worked on me. I can't remember the last women's name but she was great too! They both asked me questions to make sure I was getting what I wanted. Lily made sure to che k all my nails and make sure none were crooked. They do quality work and prices are normal. I went in for a new set of nails (mine were a hot mess and she had to remove a few old ones which was an extra $5) a new set with gel polish and removal was $50, but that's expected for all new stuff. They're getting rid of all their best nail polish colors for some reason (the brand name escapes me right now), so every color I chose was unavailable and I was told to pick something else. The lady finally took the outdated sample wheel away and showed me what they DO have. I didn't like ANY of the colors! They're all drab and boring. I would have to say this was my worst experience at a nail salon. The woman doing my nails was incredibly rude, I would ask her for color options and she would reply "you like nothing I like". When she never even offered me a color or option. So that was a little odd. She was not friendly what so ever, she quickly did my nails and had me wait for about 20 minutes until she put the color on them. When the color was put on it was streaky and not worth the amount I was paying for, so I showed her what I didn't like about the nails and when I showed her my lopsided pink nail, she replied "that's your fault". I do not remember this persons name, however she sits on the left side of the salon in the second manicure chair. Due to her rudeness I will never go back to this salon. And I advise others to be cautious. Update: I called the nail salon and spoke to the manager Lynn about this situation and she advised for me to come into the salon and she would fix everything, I was very hesitant, but I agreed to come in. She did as she said and fixed my nails and they came out wonderful! Lynn is an amazing nail artist and an amazing manager. I have been to Lana's in the past and stopped going for a period of time for no particular reason, but today I walked in without an appointment for an acrylic fill and was seated right away!! The technician who worked on my nails was so so so friendly and took her time to make sure that I was satisfied with her work every step of the way! She paid very close attention to detail and made sure that the acrylics weren't too thick or uneven. She also accommodated my specific request of only doing 2 coats of polish so that the polish was slightly translucent. I really wanted to like this place because of the reviews and the happy customers who were there the same time as me. I can see how hard most of the nail tech ladies were working especially on a busy weekend, where everyone is preparing for the 4th or July. I think regardless of how many stars a nail company has, your experience depends on the nail tech serving you. I got a mani and pedi service today. The older lady who did my pedicure was good and I'd love to leave her with five stars. However, the other lady who seemed to be the manager(?), was not so great. I believe she was the manager because she was handling most incoming calls, delegating tasks, informing customers of availability, and was the only one who was able to remove my acrylic nails (says her). When she serviced me she was going back and forth between me and other customers and you can tell how overwhelmed she was feeling. When she finally had full focus on me, she was working fast on my nails but she lacked accuracy and detail (please see manicure photos for reference). I think the photos I posted says enough about the quality. I paid a grand total of $95 and I wouldn't have mind paying for that much if the service was better. I don't care for a refund or redoing my nails, but I am here to share my experience for others. It's tough to make these reviews but it is the honest truth and I hope the company can find a better way to handle these situations. read more

I've been two times and have been happy both times. The final polish job was better than most places I've been to--no question. The salon itself was clean and the service was very pleasant. Maybe a tad on the pricey side, but I think if you average most neighborhood nail salons the prices would be similar. One thing that stood out to me was that they have a lot of gel/shellac colors to choose from! So far, so good. I'll be back. read more
