Garlic Parmesan x Buffalo Wings
Kyle W.

Saw their garlic Parmesan wings on TikTok and decided to go try. Got a half and half order of GP and buffalo. Unfortunately, I was not impressed. The wings were overall too large for my liking and the flavor just wasn't totally there. The people who work there are extremely nice and accommodating though. Still a great place to hang out at the bar and have a few small bites.

Nachos and Mac n cheese bites
Stephanie S.

Just got home from dinner at Lamberts. This is a true neighborhood bar. If you're looking for ambiance to hang with your friends and have some drinks, it's a good choice. No frills, incredibly slow service, but they have TVs and a good buzz. There were very few prices on the menu with most things saying "$MP" (market price). The dining room is not open, so only the bar or carry out. We arrived around 5pm on a Saturday evening and seated ourselves. Getting one of the 2 bartenders attention was tough, but we ordered nachos, mac n cheese bites, hush puppies and their bipartisan soup for $9 (half cream of crab, half maryland crab). Generally speaking, it all falls under bar food and everything was good enough to have another bite. A glass of red 19 crimes wine was $8, a pint of bud light was $3.75, and a marg was $9.50. Would I go back? Sure but no need to sprint back. There is plenty of parking around the building if not right in front.

This review is for the food not the service…read more The interior gives off a nice vibe and they have a set up for a live band. I'm sure when it's peak time it's live in there so I'll have to come back for an event. Went around noon on a Sunday and it was fairly empty so we sat at the bar and were serviced immediately. Strawberry lemon drop - 10/10 - I love a good lemon drop but a I'll never pass up a flavored one. No notes. Shrimp & Grits - 5/10 - don't get me wrong it was GOOD but it was too rich/cheesy to me. I don't know what I was expecting in terms of cheese but I've never had soooooo much cheese in an order of shrimp and grits. I legit pulled a mound of cheese off the top and it was still too much. I couldn't finish this unfortunately, even taking them home for another day didn't work because I couldn't take the richness. Not a slight to them, just a no for me. There was a great amount of shrimp in the dish and the consistency of the grifts were amazing. Just need something to cut through the richness. My friend had: Omelette - 10/10 - said they enjoyed it and would get it again Side of bacon - 10/10 - you got 6 pieces with the order and that was solid to me. I'd definitely come back and try something else on their brunch menu if given the chance. It's a bit out the way so I couldn't see myself traveling for it but if I was in the area I definitely would come back.

Just one other group of me, maybe some jazz music in the background, while we watched Basketball on the screen Best part about SOBEs was Mrs. Elaine, the bartendar. I would rate the food a 2.5/5. I had the shrimp tacos, which lacked flavor. The shrimp was bland. The Bang Bang shrimp was lacked flavor also. We barely touched these, so disappointing. People started showing up @ 7pm. which was $20 to get in. An AMAZING live cover band played at 9pm. By 7:45 pm, there was also a live DJ playing classic hip hop and RnB. That was such a VIBE! The crowd got really thick for the band, you literally had to push your way to the bathrooms. Bathrooms also need napkins to dry your hands with, instead of the nasty air hand dryers

This is a black-owned establishment and you would think in the Upper Marlboro area service would be a little better. Nothing bad, but all I could think of is this place could have been a second location in Sinners. Located on the side of 301 surrounded by tractor repair shops, auto repair places, and an oddly placed church. We walked in and the music was pumping and almost every table was full. No cover charge, no security screening, no ID check. The smell of fried wings, liquor, and too much perfume/cologne permeated the place. What was absent was the smell of any smoke, which is a huge plus. The place is homey and oddly cozy. The drinks seemed to be poured appropriately. The cups are plastic but the prices were low even for top-shelf cognac so it was a win. My friends had the wings and they loved them. Almost every high top and low table seemed to be enjoying the wings too. We didn't play pool but it seemed to be several pool tables that were in heavy use. The music was 90s and 2000s Hip Hop, Go-Go, and R&B. Solid play list played from a system with no DJ. A few people danced, but most folks were just talking, chilling, and vibing out. Nothing fancy or pretentious, just a cool scene. It is what it is, a juke joint/pool hall. Spartan but in a good dive bar way.

The wings were delicious. I tried the sweet and spicy sesame flavor. It leaned more sweet than spicy, but the flavor was so good. The salad was incredibly fresh. The sweet potato fries had the perfect amount of crunch. We visited on a Monday night, so it was nice and quiet. Food was also served quickly . Looks like it might get crowded on weekends or for sporting events. TV's ring the perimeter with lots of choices. We had an excellent Crab Cake BLT with fries and a beautiful piece of Honey Salmon. We ordered the Fresh Rye Bread that hit the spot and finished with good Bread Pudding. Everything was spot on! I have done a review on the College Park Hotel Cambia that houses PrimeTime. It's really a strong 4 **** or 5***** that some have rated a 3 ***. We will stay here again thane next time we visit Bethesda. We will also explore the PrimeTime menu while staying at Cambria.

She was a ray of sunshine and gave us help in deciding on menu items. We both ordered salads. I ordered the crab and shrimp Louis salad. And, my friend ordered a chicken salad. Our salads were huge, fresh, and delicious. I really liked the fresh veggies and poached shrimp. I also liked the surprise sprinkle of Old Bay on my seafood. I wasn't a fan of the crabmeat. The dressing was delicious too. My friend liked her chicken salad. She did say her chicken was a little dry. But, she loved all of the fresh veggies and ended up taking the leftovers home. I also ordered the Oreo cheesecake which was delicious. I mean come on now, you combine Oreo's and cheesecake, that is a winning combination and the whipped cream was amazing. The restaurant itself was bright, colorful, and full of sea themed decor. The booth was comfortable and you get 3 hours of free parking in the garage. Again, thanks Fatima for your excellent service. We will definitely be back.
