Absolutely devastated. I brought in my $400 designer dress to be dry cleaned before I went to Hawaii. The night of the big event I went to put my dress on and the dress was torn. My entire night was ruined, I had nothing to wear, I was literally shook. Cannot believe they would rip my expensive dress and not even tell me about it. The absolute shadiest experience of my entire life. Never again will I go here. I can't even believe they charged me to rip my dress and absolutely ruin my trip. Just an awful experience. read more

Lakeside Cleaners - Ripped and torn $400 designer dress - Laundry Services Near Me - Lakeside, California

Plenty of parking, welcomed in. Easy drop off, usually takes a couple days. The quality is very well done. Upon pick up my suit tops were put on hangers and covered with plastic. It was about $24 for 3 suit tops. For me it's a one stop shop, it's close to home and convenient. Great place for dry cleaning. Although I haven't visited other places, I've never felt the need as this business gets what I need done right. With that being said I've never compared prices with other businesses. But I'll for sure come back to this one. I think they have a drive through but I'm not sure! Give them a call read more

I love Lakeside Cleaners! I'm sad to sad bad reviews. Every service I've had done here was top notch. The owner is friendly, professional and he runs his shop well. This shop is very convenient and affordable as well! read more

The worst shop I've ever been to. Never again, they damage clothing. I don't recommend it. read more

Don't even bother going here. The last 3 times I tried going there in the span of a month, they said their seamstress isn't there and don't know when she's going to be in. Like that's literally OUTRAGEOUS! Terrible service. read more

What color I give them what color they give to me the first time try here every cloud nothing even one cloud cleaning everything they charge me more but they're nothing clean . I asked the owner why he damaged my clothes he said he's nothing is fault I give two clothes, pure white they give me one gray one. I don't know what Color recommended that. Please nobody go here. Don't waste your money. Don't lose your cloth read more

$6 for military press for my uniform shirt and pants. Hours are good and there's drive thru pick up where they hang your clothes in the car. Good quality work for a good price. I do all my dry cleaning needs here. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. The service was absolutely horrible! I am a firm believer in if you hate your job to where it's affecting your quality of life and interaction with other people, then you should not be there. The woman running the drive-through is absolutely disgusting in way that she talks to other people. Your business will not flourish with service like that. I was referred here by a friend who said they had low prices and it's close to where we live. So I thought I'd try it. I waited behind another guest and I'm so glad I didn't waste my money. The lady who worked here was so rude to the person in front of me. It was absurd. Not even five minutes later she was outside yelling at a couple who was waiting for their child to get walked out from the dentist because she said that they were blocking the drive-through area. When they weren't even in the drive-through and come on it's a child for crying out loud! And maybe if you cared about the customers INSIDE the shop, you'd have a reason to tell people to move because there will actually be people in the drive through area. Just a suggestion. I just think there are way more places with way LESS DRAMA. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. read more

Awesome place great service but they don't do military name tags for new uniforms other than that awesome!

I've been going to this cleaners for years now but I will not get their services anymore. They do a good job and I've never had an issue with their work. I'm rating this place a one star because I went in earlier this week to drop off some clothes through the drive thru service and the " old hag " is just very unfriendly and made me feel unwelcome. I'm not sure if she's the owner or what but it's time to retire and enjoy your life. I asked her if they did alterations and clearly she answered no. So I went to pick up my clothes today and decided to get off and pick up my clothes. As I walk in, what do I see, a big ass sign that says alterations. So a young asian lady helped me and gave me my clothes and I asked her if she was the one that does the alteration services and she said yes. Keep in mind the old hag was working and clearly heard me and she remembered me. She just kept looking at me all mean because I was asking dumb questions like " I thought you guys didn't do alterations " etc... Point is, I'm not sure if you're racist or just completely overwhelmed or burnt out. But because of your bitterness I'm taking my business elsewhere. It's time to retire lady. I'll be going to Martinizing cleaners off navajo. Its a much friendlier place with nicer people. read more

So yesterday my brother went to take his Versace jacket to get it cleaned and they did a bad job they left it faded he took it back and they said that with out a store receipt they could not do anything or give him money back and he wanted to talk to the Manager and they would not give him the number to call him read more

My father needed a one inch hem on his too long slacks. We were charged $16 for this, and it took 5 days to get them back. They did a good job, but overpriced for having to wait so long. read more

So nice! Drive through is incredibly convenient. Our clothes are always clean and pressed perfectly.

I went there to have a dress cleaned for a wedding. They gave it back kinda burned on the bottom and kinda ripped. The dress is new.

Nice little mom and pop cleaners. This is my usual go to place for simple alterations and dry cleaning. The employees are always nice and they all work quickly. I typically have my items back with a day or two. The only thing I don't like is the location. It's at a busy intersection before the freeway and the traffic makes it a little difficult to get in and out of the parking lot. read more

I am very happy with my experience at Lakeside Cleaners. I rarely need dry cleaning done, but had an expensive jacket and a faux fur piece that really needed to be cleaned. The service at the door was excellent. I appreciated the person who greeted me, took the clothing with confidence that I would be pleased. My items were ready for pickup sooner than I imagined and perfectly done at a very fair price. I will be returning in the future. You can stay in your car if you wish, They have drive up service as well as going inside if you prefer. read more

Super friendly and great customer service. I drop my stuff off they help me out and within minutes. Also price was very reasonable

I was told the seamstress only needed five days to alter my clothing. The first day I went in, I was told she only comes in between 9-12 on particular Days. I returned the next day and was told I needed my items by Thursday, more than five days away. I was leaving a wedding and received a call saying it was done Thursday when the woman on the phone realized the straps were not finished. It was not finished in time for my trip and I would not recommend this place. read more

I've been coming here for years and never had a problem in regards to the dry cleaning.....but for any kind of stich work I would be carefull. I brought in a dress I just bought for special occassion out of town to be hemmed up. When i got it back it wasn't even hemmed to where I asked and it was extremely lopsided. A took it back and told them I was, leaving on this day and needed them to fix the mistake. When I got the dress back second time...they had sewed in too much in one area that made the dress look uneven. I ended up having to buy a new dress because there was no time to have them fix it again. After I came back from out of town I had called to either get a refund or I wanted them to fix the dress that they messed up. After about two weeks of leaving messages on and off and stopping buy a few times...which was ironically the manager/owner was always out...finally one of the clerks passed the message if we wanted the dress fixed back to how the dress came to them that I would have to pay them... I wasn't going to pay them to fix a problem they created...what kind of service is that? You messed my dress up and want me to pay for it again.....I will never go there again read more

Been using this cleaners for over 12 years and and for me if something is not broke ... don't fix it! They are always nice to me, always do an amazing job and the clothes are always ready on time, every time. Its also nice that they know me so well that they even have them hanging on the hook because they see me pull in so they get my items ready. That to me says a lot! I can't say enough good things about them. I have also had some custom projects done from time to time and they have always come though.I don't see ever having to take my dry cleaning anywhere else. Thank you Lakeside cleaners!!!!!! DJ Pat read more

I dropped off one pair of pants here to see their quality of service before regularly bringing them my clothes. I dropped them off at the drive they window because I thought it was cool. I gave the girl my pants and she took my phone number and didn't ask for my name or give me a receipt. I thought maybe this was just how they did business. When I went back a few days later, the owner said she couldn't find me in the computer. She made no attempt at all to look for my pants and didn't care about my concern of losing the pants. I never got my pants back. read more

they don't wear masks here. take your business elsewhere if you don't want your clothes coughed/sneezed on.

I've got no complaints here. We've used them since we moved here a couple years ago. They're usually able to do things fast, unless it's a weekend. There's something weird about that, they must send the clothes out. In terms of repairs, they did a good job replacing an "invisible zipper". Unfortunately, it was super annoying because I had to go buy the zipper myself and I've never had to do something so ridiculous for a repair. read more

Put simply, this place is the worst. I took pants in with a couple tiny stains from dry erase marker. They said they could get it out, though I was skeptical. When I got them back, they hadn't even treated the stains, despite the girl having indicated the stains with tape. Instead of comping me the $5 for not doing what they were supposed to, they said all they could do was have them try again. What, now that it's completely set? No thanks. They don't even do any of the work there--they farm it all out, cleaning and alterations. Plus, the girls who work there are college age hourlies who know nothing about dry cleaning. There are plenty of other cleaners who do things better. read more

Lakeside Cleaners ruined a bedspread sometime back. They do not compensate their mistakes. The owner was stone-faced and kept saying "sorry" Unfortunately that didn't do anything for the comforter. Moved on to another cleaners that values their customers. read more

I would not use this place the old lady with short brownish hair idk if she's the owner or manager but she seems racist and kept giving me a nasty look, she was very rude and I rather go elsewhere where I feel more comfortable read more

I gave this place three chances to deliver good service, and they failed all three times. The first time, they stapled little tags to all of my clothes, requiring me to remove those little staples before I could wear the clothes. The second time, they promised that a pair of ski pants would be finished by a specific date, and they weren't. And today, the owner pointed out that she had not cleaned a pair of my pants because a part of the ham was falling down. I told her that my previous dry cleaner would have hemmed them at no charge, and then cleaned them. Three strikes: They're out. read more

I've been looking for a dependable place to get my work clothes dry-cleaned around SD for quite some time. I stumbled by Lakeside Cleaners a while back and was amazed by the quality of service. The location is easy to find and their turn-around times are reasonable. Their drive-thru pick-up and drop-off window is great and is a rare thing to see in most places. Their customer service is second to none and really makes you feel like you and your clothes are being taken care of in the best way possible. read more

ok, so I really hate to give bad reviews but I feel I have to say that Lakeside Cleaners has the worst customer service. The female manager was very disrespectful when I pointed out that they had stained my shirt. She refused to clean it and even yelled and blamed it on me! I will never use them again. Good luck to anyone else who uses them.... read more

I was visiting San Diego and needed to get some clothes cleaned so I decided to use Lakeside Cleaners. I was really happy with their high quality dry cleaning services and friendly employees. My clothes are very delicate but they did an immaculate job and everything looked like new. Prices were reasonable, around $9 for a suit. There is also a drive-thru that makes the process super convenient for dropping off and picking up my stuff. I noticed that they also do alterations, even original hems for jeans, which is something I would have definitely come back for if I lived around here. read more

I'll never go there again. I took a coat to be cleaned and they said it would be a couple of days because I had to leave town. The coat had lint and dog hair on it. When I got it back it was exactly the same except they put it in a bag. $15 for plastic bag. There was even some flaky milk or something on one of the sleeves. I was ripped off. I could have cleaned it better myself. read more

Do not use this cleaner. They ruined a $50 shirt and gave me a credit for $4.25! Totally unprofessional and not how to treat a customer who has been going there for 6 years. read more

My husband is in the navy and he asked me to take his uniforms to the cleaners to put some new patches on them. I ended up at this cleaners because my husband was away and I had a busy work schedule that week so I couldn't go where he usually goes. Well I gave them the patches and the Asian lady that sews was gun ho about knowing how to do the patches the correct way, so I said ok. They gave me a receipt to pick up with no price. I came back a few days later and I got a $60 bill just to sew on some little patches. Are you kidding me??? I had to go to work so I didn't argue but I did explain to them how ridiculous their prices were and I would never be back there. My husband came back from being underway and he was livid when he saw the uniforms because the lady just sewed the patches on any old way. He goes back and tell her how it's supposed to be done and she argues and says it doesn't matter how the patches are sewn on the uniform. Are you kidding me?? The woman is arguing about something she knows nothing about. My husband also told her how she basically took advantage of me because she charged $5 a patch when We've never been charged more than $2.50 a patch. She argued that everyone charges $5 a patch. Military and anyone that needs something sewn stay away from this place if you want you stuff done the right way. People that try to take advantage of anyone sicken me. We are not entitled to anything but we are not rich and it's not fair to try to take advantage. read more

Took one pair of hubby's pants in for pressing. Only to get them back with a loop totally pulled out of the pants!!! I took them back and the owner said it was due to him pulling the belt. Really? He doesn't wear a belt!!! He wears shirts that don't need to be tucked in. Go to the Cleaners in Santee instead! (it's by the Walgreens). Family owned and very very good service. I will never go back to LC! read more

They probably only make money due to convenience. I sent my work shirts here and they come back with the collars turn up and a ridiculous amount of wrinkles. My dress pants even had a nerve to have a stain. I have tried them multiple times and it is always the same. Go out of the way a few minutes and use a Santee cleaners. read more

We have used Lakeside Dry Cleaners for many, many years (followed them from their old location to their current one) and have always been extremely satisfied with the results and their service. I want to single out Cindy, who goes out of her way to accommodate our schedule and our, sometimes, detailed requests. Cindy always gives exceptional service - she is the very BEST. read more

I needed to have a shirt, jacket, and an elastic arm band sewn. I dropped it off and they said it would be a few days. But they were super fast! Perfectly priced! I will be going back the next time my kids rip something! read more

Fast friendly service, fair prices, quick turnaround. Had a couple of alterations done. Always satisfied, that's why I keep coming back!!!

I've been coming to this dry cleaners for about 3 now. I love the fact they have and drive thru and they are so close to home! The ladies there all know me since I go there so often for my uniforms. Unfortunately, I don't even try to get alterations there. The sewing lady is never there when I come. I either take it downtown to Ace Uniform or just do it myself. read more

No complaints so far. Hope I'm not jinxing myself. They've been extremely nice and my items are always done in time.
