Truly Impressive Customer Service. I have been using this cleaners for awhile. I had an issue arise and the older man behind the counter called his son for help. They could have just stiffed me and blamed me. But they took full responsibility and paid me for my loss. I give 5-stars because it is so uncommon these days to see good service. I used to go here years ago for fast, friendly service with my Uniforms. Last week, like a previous reviewer said, I brought in a 100% silk Tommy Bahama shirt with around $125 with a couple small spots from Salsa it sustained in Puerto Vallarta. I left it for a week to give them extra time treating the shirt. It came back with the stains still as evident as the day I got them, not even cleaned a little. No note saying they couldn't fix it like they used to do, just bagged and returned. The worst part is, there were two new rips along the seams of both sleeves near the shoulders. They were very obvious but no one said anything. The lady at the counter was very rude and just brushed me off, the STILL charged me full price. I hate to say it, but this place is not what it used to be. Now I'm in search of a new dry cleaner that doesn't charge $6 to destroy an expensive silk shirt. read more

A friend brought in a Tommy Bahama shirt worth over $100. He asked it be dry cleaned, which is the ONLY way this shirt remains wearable. They washed it and it shrank. My friend asked to be reimbursed. They said "No...it's not our fault." Whose fault, oh Palm Dry Cleaners? Whose fault? Mistakes are always okay. Horrible experience with this business. They performed dry cleaning on a few shirts/jackets I took to them. After retrieving the items, I come home and a couple weeks later I take one of the shirts out only to notice that they completely ripped the shirt. This was not a cheap shirt and when I took it to them to complain they were unwilling to compensate for ripping this shirt! The people that work here are very rude, and the store is very filthy as well. Hi, I've been dealing with this marvellous Palms Cleaners for over 2 years now since I moved there. They are doing unequaled services including but not limited to dry clean, laundry, fluff and fold, alterations and much more. I brought my purse to Palm Cleaners for them to replace a zipper with the same gold color that was in it. We agreed on a price and date for me to pick it up. When I picked up the purse the zipper was silver not gold like the original one was. The manager tried to tell me, yes this IS gold. I told him, NO It is not gold it is silver and I wanted gold like was in it before. He stood there and was arguing with me! I told him I would take it if he would take $10.00 off the price. He was charging $25.00 for the job. He told me he wouldn't do that he would order the zipper and it would be ready Tuesday. I came in Tuesday the manager wasn't there and the zipper didn't come in. was told it would be a couple more days. Long story short I was in the store 7 or 8 times one time to see the owner who was supposed to be there at 2:30 and I arrived at 3:00 but the owner was already gone because he apparently only does a fly-by. Had another shout-out with Frank the manager about just giving me the purse as is! As I tried to grab it from him at this time they had it for 5 weeks! When the zipper was finally installed, gold I paid $15.00 and pick it up when Frank was not working! They had the purse for a total of 6 weeks - UNEXCEPABLE! I will NOT be going there ever again. BEWARE!! I brought a bridesmaid dress here to be altered. I feel so scammed it's not even funny. The dress was too long, so I called and they said they could have it done in just a couple days. Great! I took my dress in and the guy at the front said that the lady who does the alterations was not there, but he would pin it for her. Okay cool. I put the dress on and he pins about a foot long section in the front of the dress. My mom told the guy that it was too short, so she helped him pin it. He said "Okay, its good take it off" so I did just that. Gave him the dress and he said it's $40 because it's three layers. Hmm okay. I wouldn't have enough time to find someone else so I agreed. I went to pick up my dress about 4 days later. He didn't have me try it on and since it was pouring rain and I just wanted to get home, I didn't ask. I paid the $40 and left. When I got home I tried the dress on and just started laughing. YOU GUYS, they only hemmed the front foot long section he pinned. I paid FOURTY DOLLARS for a foot long section of hem. Honorary mentions: *The two slip layers were two different lengths *The stitch was hideous *The sides of the dress were so long that I kept stepping on them. Luckily my grandmother was able to re cut the dress and hem it for me the day before the wedding. I try to avoid giving negative reviews but aw man this place really dropped the ball. We dropped of some curtains to have them hemmed up a few inches. When I got the curtains home we were very surprised to see how uneven they were. I took them back and asked them to please re do and try and fix. After the second time of them messing up our curtains we gave up and just asked for a refund.They did begrudgingly return our money. I hope they dry clean better than they hem clothes. I dropped off a wool sweater to get dry cleaned and it's has come back shrunk and is now unwearable. How do you shrink my wool sweater dry cleaning it when dry cleaning does not use water? Horrible. I took in a suede dress for a tiny oil stain and not only did they not remove the stain- the whole dress had turned light red and the stain area was dark black. If I could give 0 stars I would. And the worst part is that they did not even apologize or ask to compensate for their horrible job. I needed an alteration done fast and after trying to go to four other cleaners with no one to help me someone recommended I go to Palm cleaners. Would never recommend them!!! Took my husband kenzo t-shirt to get cleaned! The shirts are white! I don't usually like washing those at home since there a little sensitive with the material. Took them never was I told that there could be a possibility of the shirts getting damaged! As my husband picked them up and came home he tells me are you sure they cleaned them cause there were stains there! I don't think it would be normal for someone to take in $200 t-shirts to get them dry cleaned and had the intentions of getting them dirty! Went back to to them and informed them of the damage! With sarcasm the old man tells me yes sorry there was damage to the shirt and tells me that's why we've added a red sticker! I said excuse me!! What is a red sticker going to do for me? So I asked if there is anything they could do. He said unfortunately not since it's a white T-shirt that usually would Be the case of the my husbands $200 T-shirt getting ruined. So we got into a little argument trying to see if they take responsibility of the damages they've made, NOPE!!! Don't even think about it! He actually sits there and tells me why would you even bring a white T-shirt you know very well that it's going to get ruined, why didn't you just wash it at home! I just stood there speechless! I have never ever heard such a response from a business owner! I would definitely not recommend them!! Be aware that if you drop off a comforter for cleaning, it will be washed, not dry cleaned. I had always had good results with my dry cleaning, but my expensive, heavy comforter was ruined. I was told "sorry". read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I brought a dress that I used to a wedding and when I picked it up it had a horrible onion like smell. I told the guy I wanted a refund and he said he can only give me $5 and I paid $15. He ended up giving me $10 but I will never be coming back. I ended up washing the dress myself at home in a lingerie bag and covered up the beads so they wouldn't come out and it came out better and smelling good than the dry cleaners.
