I love this Lakeshore!!! They indeed are a little pricey, but they always have coupons available if you sign up for their text messages, emails, mailers etc. Typically they give coupons for 20% off or buy one get one 50% off. During certain times of the year (summer) they offer 20% off most items in the store. This place is a teacher's fantasy!!! I teach preschool and there are a plethora of preschool age-appropriate items. I especially love their boarders and posters. read more

Great place to buy kids learning toys. If u wanna be in n out quick don't take your kids with you Negative- they don't price match. read more

I love Lakeshore! It is a one stop shop for children's learning tools! I have a 26 month old who knows his shapes, colors, can count to 25, his abcs (months ago) and can identify numbers 1-9 and most of the alphabet. He is just too smart! He loves to paint and do crafts and sing (and anything active as well). To foster his curiousity and encourage him to keep learning we come here. This store is so orgnanized - but just incase you can't find something one of the excellent employees will eagerly help. One gal anticipated my need (maybe it was the confused look on my face). She was so kind and efficient. The store has many opportunities for children to try/play with their products - awesome! It was also colorful amd had great age appropriate music playing in the background. Today we came home with art supplies, flash cards, a great bag for all of my son's balls and some wooden blocks! read more

I dont get something, why the hell can you only use coupons on regular priced items? I use coupons here and there at supermarkets and departmemt stores and its nice to pair coupons with sale items, right? But not at Lakeshore...NOOOoooooo, every other place on the planet lets you use them anytime. But not Lakeshore!!!! Thats total B.S. read more

I like that there is so much to look at here. Even if I can't afford to buy a lot of things for my class, I get ideas. Also I can make a wish list for my class. If you check in you can get a discount. Also you can sign up for texts and they will send you offers. Right now they have lots of discounts all over the store. Plus they also offer craft classes for kids. It's a great place to come. read more

Went into the store today and had some questions for the staff. Nick is the most helpful and informative employee I have ever run into in a Lakeshore store! He knew so much about the products, what they had in stock, what could be ordered online, etc. If every store had a Nick those stores would have a guaranteed customer base for life!!! read more

Terrific store with incredibly friendly and helpful staff! Every time I have gone there I have been asked if I need help and the employees have guided me to exactly what I need. I especially love and appreciate their sales and coupons for educators. And kudos to how they came through (after some initial friction) for the LAUSD educators on strike! They welcomed us and let us laminate all our signs for the strike for free so our signs held up in the downpours we had this week on the picket lines! Thank you, Lakeshore on Devonshire! I know I'll be returning soon. read more

I really want to give them 5 because their products are great - but I placed an order online and it's been one mess after another. First they never notified me that my order was ready. So after a couple days I called and spend 20 minutes on and off hold because they couldn't find it. Then, when they said they found it I told them we would be there before closing same day to pick it up. They promised it would be ready and waiting . When we picked up the order curbside, almost half of the items were not in the bag. We didn't realize until we got home because they seal the bags. Now, I have to leave early to be there when they open to sort this mess out and try to make it to work on time. No one needs this level of frustration for a simple online order. I'll update the post if they can fix what they messed up....or if they don't. read more

Great store. I love it. You can find many things that your child need it as a toy or learning stuff

What a great place! If I was a teacher, I would come here every day. If you want your kid to feel inspired by learning, check out resources provided by this store. read more

It's heaven for all your teaching supply needs! They have everything you need and then some. The only bummer is the pricing because it adds up quite a bit. I usually only get things like the fadeless paper, borders, and focus center bulletin board sets here. They send out lots of coupons and always have good deals. I get all my laminating done here at a decent price. read more

I love this place. Every time i come here, i want to buy up the whole store. The staff is super friendly, and welcoming. I always come here to laminate things, and end up leaving with a few things! lol read more

This store is AMAZING! As a beginning teacher, I have found exactly what I need! Whether it's books, toys, materials for learning activities etc... the staff is very friendly and helpful as well! I know I will be coming here for years to come! :) read more

This place is great for ideas and activities to keep my son's 3-year-old brain occupied but also stimulated while he's stuck at home. The resources were endless to the point where I was a little overwhelmed (but that's a good problem to have in this case). I had a few questions but the staff was a little preoccupied. They were, however, very courteous when it came time to pay for my items. read more

I love coming to this store to get quality learning tools and games for my Daughter. She also loves coming here. They have anything and everything you could want or need for Children to learn. From games to grafts and books it's great. I love this place! read more

My first time here & honestly, I was in love! My daughter had so much fun playing with the display toys! The staff was extremely friendly, & continued to ask if I needed any assistance. When it came time to pay, I was shocked with how much I paid with the amount of items I had gotten. The cashier (I didn't get her name), asked if I wanted to sign up for coupons, & become a member which gives you more coupons!! I received a free tote bag just for signing up! Super happy & I definitely wish there was one of these in my town, I'll be back very soon. read more

Love this store! A lot of interacting toys and learning book, always find something new and exciting things for my little ones!

Is everything they sell made in China??? I ordered four items from Lakeshore Learning off their website, and when they came every one of them says Made In China. Very disappointing. I'm sure there are educational games and toys that are made somewhere other than China. read more

Great place for some educational goodies for the little one. Since summer is upon us and school is out I figured it would be great to get some workbooks so she can keep her chops up over summer vacation. This store has it all, math materials, reading writing and even some fun educational games. Best of all they have a nice private lot in the back. read more

I have a love and hate relationship with lakeshore. I love coming here because they have a huge selection of items for the classroom and friendly staff, but whenever I come here I end up spending over $100 dollars each time. It gets expensive shopping here. You could however sign up to earn rewards and notifications for discounts. Ok ok I still like coming here and I do recommend the place, but come in with caution because you're going to want to buy everything. read more

What a great store! If I come back I'll come here. Nick was very sweet and helpful! Appreciate that so much.

Lake shore learning is great for school teachers like me. Lots of items you will not find at your local office supply store and if your like me you don't like ordering online. Most of the items are grade school. Everything from hand writing books to games that improve your math. Every parent should go here and look for ideas to help their child advance. School is so important and every child needs something different to help them advance. read more

The store is organized and packed with great merchandise as well. The employees are sweet and helpful.

Organized and spacious.Only thing I noticed are the prices of toys like the puzzles, bit expensive comparing it when you buy those toys from Walmart or TJMaxx. read more

They have everything that you need for a child. Their stores neat and clean and the displays are in order. They have good deals for first-time customers. Not sure their prices are cheaper than the Internet but if you need it now, go here. read more

I really like Lakeshore! I can walk around this store forever. My only problem is that they don't have the basics like a variety of sizes for binder rings or black permanent markers sold on their own. They have two laminating machines, but sometimes one is out of order. For basic supplies I'd rather go to Staples or the Education Station. The staff here is really nice and helpful though! read more

I love lakeshore. I am an elementary school teacher so I totally geek out in this place.

I typically go to Lakeshore for their laminator machine. They are quick and easy to utilize and add years to my posters. Lakeshore also has a great assortment of borders and butcher paper. The fadeless butcher paper will last for years. I wouldn't go any where else for those staple products. read more

Thank you, Lakeshore! I came in today to laminate my posters for the strike and I wasn't charged for them. In addition to this, the staff was so cordial and asked if there was anything else we needed as we waited in line. Great service! I've shopped here many times for my own classroom supplies/materials and educational games for my own children. Thank you!!! read more

Very helpful and excellent costumer service. I had an online coupon that I received which wasn't working. The cashier was very helpful and instructed me on how to get a 20% off coupon and free tote bag. On top of that he suggested other great gift ideas to include with my purchase. They have great gift ideas here too! read more

This location was okay. It has A LOT of variety when it comes to borders and stickers, but it falls short in some porter areas and meeting educational needs beyond elementary school. read more
