Dr. Trang had to repair an all on four. When I went in for the installation, his dental hygienist…read morenoticed a crack. Dr. Trang said he'd warranty the repair for two months - otherwise I'd need to leave the appliance with him and leave the office with no front teeth. I had to find a time that I could be without teeth for four days, and also find those four days to synchronize with his two alternate days per week he was in the office. I contacted his office the sixth of eight weeks he had allotted. I waited a week to hear back - and nothing. I called the following week and was told they would consult with him and get back to me with his availability. I waited another full week. I called to follow up the first day of the ninth week to let them know I still had not heard from them. I was told I was past the warranty period and they would not honor the repair. I was told they called me but my voice mail was full so they could not leave a message. They called only once. Flash back the my inquiry about the needed repair. They returned the call and gave me a price of $360.00. Four days later they called me back again, left a message to contact them. When I returned the call, they told me the price would now $500.00. And then again in a few days raising it to $800.00 for the repair. I gave them the go ahead. They called two more times reminding of the appointment and to double check both times that I would bring the $800.00 with me for the time of the service and that I was aware of the price increase. In total, they contacted me six times about price, re-confirmation of price and to ensure I knew I'd need to pay at the time of the appointment. They deliberately strung out my return call for the warranty repair and then cancelled the warranty on a several day 'past date' technicality that they created. Having made six calls about price, and eight total including appointment confirmation - they made only one call, leaving no message deliberately riding out the warranty period. Bear in mind they have my email address, and could certainly try a second call out on a warranty that was necessary because of Dr. Trang's failed repair. They kept the $800.00 and refused to fix the faulty work of their lab. A failure they should have discovered by checking the quality prior to my appointment. So I asked for my dental records. They never provided them. come to find out after reporting them to the Arizona Board of Dental Examiners - they never created a treatment plan. Dr. Trang intentionally deprived me of a repair for his faulty work - set a timeline for the repair to be initiated, and then strung out communication until they ran me out of an arbitrary warranty period he offered off the cuff at the moment he should have been installing the appliance, but couldn't 't for the faulty workmanship and discovery of a crack their lab produced and overlooked. NEVER go to this facility or this doctor.

After some research I came across Longbow Dental Care. From the moment I walked in the door I felt comfortable. The front desk staff is friendly and engaging. My husband had an appointment a couple of weeks before mine and had Dr. Moh as his dentist so I had already met him and immediately liked his bedside manner, so naturally I requested him to be my dentist as well. The hygienist was friendly, knowledgeable, gentle and was awesome at addressing my anxiety issues. Because I was a new patient I received an exam and x-rays for 60.00. A reasonable price in my book. After the exam by the hygienist, Dr. Moh came in and discussed what needed to be done and why. He was patient and answered all my questions. After he left one of the office ladies came in to discuss the price of the procedure I need. As I am a cash paying customer we discussed financing options, and felt no pressure at all to make a quick decision. I am glad I found Longbow Dental for my oral hygiene needs!

Each time, I was told that someone was out of the office and would call me back, yet I rarely received any follow-up. After weeks of consistently reaching out, I finally found out that my retainers had never been shipped and had simply been sitting in the office the entire time. I understand that mistakes happen, but after repeatedly calling and trying to stay on top of the situation, the lack of communication and follow-through was incredibly frustrating and disappointing.

However, in all cases, a dependable professional is extremely valuable. With that, I present Dr. Sheldon Sullivan. My first visit more than 20 years ago was based on location. He was just three minutes from my house. In the meantime, he is now responsible for the majority of crowns and fillings in my rapidly aging mouth. Several years ago I moved 10 miles away. I switched my primary care provider, but not my dentist. I recently had three crowns done, work I'd put off almost five years for no other reason than I just didn't want through such unpleasant procedures (another nice thing about Dr. Sullivan, he offers a diagnosis and treatment but does not pressure you to make a decision right away). The last x-rays revealed a dire situation, which he explained fully and patiently. The work was done over two appointments and included the careful administration of nitrous oxide, the perfect thing to take the edge off. It was damn near painless, and the work was flawless. I love the fact the crowns are milled on site, so none of those ridiculous temporary caps that pop off the second you bite into a steak (or a piece of broccoli, for those who are vegetarian-inclined). Dr. Sullivan and staff members are friendly, courteous and very good at what they do.
