Dr. Kitchen was a good dentist...when he showed up! I routinely scheduled 7:00 am appointments to accommodate my work schedule, and of the six dental exam appointments I had with Nathan Kitchen over a two-year time period, he showed up for only THREE. The dental hygienist would finish the teeth cleaning at approximately 7:30 am and tell me that she would get Dr. Kitchen to complete the remaining exam. On the first occurrence and after ten minutes of waiting I left the exam room to find the hygienist sitting and chatting with a colleague. I asked her where Dr. Kitchen was and she told me he wasn't in the office yet. I was beyond irritated that Nathan Kitchen was so willing to waste my time and that the office staff made no effort to let me know in advance that Nathan Kitchen wasn't in the office yet, and they let me just sit in the dental chair waiting and waiting. I asked how often this happens, and the office staff told me it happens "more than it should". It was clear that they had endured the rage of many clients/patients who found themselves in my same situation. This happened three of the six appointments I had with Nathan Kitchen's dental office. On the third occurrence, my appointment was at 9:30 am and Nathan Kitchen STILL wasn't in the office at 10:00 am. After the third incident, I told them I will find another dentist because it was unacceptable that the dentist isn't professional enough to show up for his clients/patients at the appointment times HE has authorized. If Nathan Kitchen cannot make it to work on time, he should not be scheduling clients/patients. I advise dental clients/patients to go elsewhere for dental services if they value their time in any way. read more
