Front office staff rude and inattentive Called 4 times for TMj after Dr gave Longbow name. First two calls person who answered said call back Third call said would have to check insurance if covered. 4th call asked for next step. Stated only evaluate. I told her to change web site that reads " Our team at Longbow Dental Care provides TMJ treatment in Mesa, Arizona to help you manage and relieve your symptoms". Front desk, rushed, short and not at all helpful. Did not know insurance even though partner w AARP. Received call back after posting review...promised to call back on insurance. No call back. We had to switch dentists a few years ago when our insurance changed and we chose to give Longbow Dental a try. Now I wish we'd switched much sooner! We've only ever had great experiences with them and their entire staff is great, from the office staff to the hygienists and dentists. read more

They canceled my appointment after I had it scheduled for the last 6 months and took off early from work to go.I can't answer my phone at work and I don't reply to unknown numbers. Their text message didn't warn that my appointment was going to be canceled if I don't reply. Unprofessional and poor patient care. Also don't let them use the scanner to map your teeth, it's not covered in plastic and after it's been in your mouth they only clean it with a small pad of cleaner like an alcohol prep pad before they roll it to the next room to be cleaned. read more

I LOVE Longbow Dental, I'm on my 3rd set of drntures. I was having trouble wearing my bottoms after suffering a few weeks I made an appointment. I had the privilege of being treated by Ann, she is the best. She saw where an adjustment was needed. She was amazing, she fixed the problem and I was amazed. I finally was able to wear them all day. I was able to eat my Thanksgiving dinner with my dentures. Thank you so much Ann. Everyone is great there. read more

I went to Longbow about 2 years ago. The office is very clean and the staff is kind and cordial. My cleaning and x rays were well done. However I did get Covid about 36 hrs. after my appt. ( I am not saying I got sick from the visit but it was what happened.) Anyhow the important information is that I was told I needed 2 crowns. Since going there I have seen 3 separate dentists and not one has said I need crowns on those teeth. I think they like to do crowns. Its little work and great profit. It is a shame because it is an immaculate office and the staff is ever so sweet but I am not sure that you can rely on an honest quote. I almost had the work done but fortunately I went and got another opinion! read more

I came to Longbow Dental because I had a tooth ache. They examined all my teeth and found one wisdom tooth needed to be extracted. Dr. Moh was the dentist who performed the proceedure. He was gentle and patient as I have anxiety about dentists. They quoted me a price before the proceedure and to my surprise the actual bill was over $100.00 less. They want me to come in for a deep cleaning, but did not pressure me to make the appointment. I don't have dental insurance and will need to save up for it. Who really likes going to the dentist? Not me! Admittedly, I have not been to the dentist in a long time, and I have some major anxiety with Dental work. After some research I came across Longbow Dental Care. From the moment I walked in the door I felt comfortable. The front desk staff is friendly and engaging. My husband had an appointment a couple of weeks before mine and had Dr. Moh as his dentist so I had already met him and immediately liked his bedside manner, so naturally I requested him to be my dentist as well. The hygienist was friendly, knowledgeable, gentle and was awesome at addressing my anxiety issues. Because I was a new patient I received an exam and x-rays for 60.00. A reasonable price in my book. After the exam by the hygienist, Dr. Moh came in and discussed what needed to be done and why. He was patient and answered all my questions. After he left one of the office ladies came in to discuss the price of the procedure I need. As I am a cash paying customer we discussed financing options, and felt no pressure at all to make a quick decision. I am glad I found Longbow Dental for my oral hygiene needs! read more

MY BREAKDOWN OF ORIGINAL QUOTE GIVEN ON 4/19/23 VERSUS WHAT I WAS CHARGED ON MY CARE CREDIT First I went over the final bill ledger and it does not match up with my original quote! there was a $1,208 Debit Misc. added on final bill ledger why and what is this that was charged to my insurance on May 11th? I didn't even have an appointment on that day (According to my insurance the $1208 was included in Interim Comp Denture maxil/mand billed 4/24/23 hmmmm not 5/11/23 as stated in ledger as Debit Misc. ‍) This is the breakdown from my original quote total was $7260 minus $3,000 my insurance pays that left $4,260 out of pocket Day 3 visit has not been completed yet and not for 6+ more months after gums are healed (Permanent Dentures) total cost minus $2001 (Day 3 Visit) = $2259 out of pocket from original quote. The extractions were $192 each (original quote) but being it wasn't surgical like they thought they would be the extractions were $111 each (Final Patient Ledger) that should be the only difference on new bill ledger. So this is my breakdown my final bill should be!! 4/24/23 DAY 1 VISIT Interim Comp denture maxil $550 Mand $553 Total $1103 5/16/23 DAY 2 VISIT Bone repl grft ridge $350 Bone repl grft ridge. $350 Total $700 5/16/23 Extractions $111x18 TOTAL EXTRACTED = $1998 $1103+$700+$1998= $3801 minus $3000 paid by my insurance so my out of pocket should have only been $801 not $2,009 they billed my care credit. $1208 overcharged to my care credit is not pennies it's a huge difference and needs to be corrected ASAP!! Be cautious of this dental practice. I went in for their new patient package of examination, x-rays and cleaning for $70. I have had regular dental care for all of my 71 years. After taking 18 (!) x-rays and poking around in my mouth I was told that they would not do the normal cleaning as I needed a deeper cleaning. I was presented with two options -- one for $660 and the other, $987. I do not have insurance and those are completely unaffordable options. Even if this was not the case, I feel that I am being taken advantage of, and will be visiting another dentist. I was charged $60 for this visit. The office is lovely and sparkling clean! read more

Also they tried selling my father unnecessary dental work with outrages prices. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!!!! Just moved to area and had a crown pop off. Called them as they had great reviews and nearby. They were amazing! Replaced the crown and gave me full comprehensive exam for only $90 including x-rays. New patient part of exam was only $40 including x-rays. Super friendly and professional. Clean, new office. I ended up needing a crown on another tooth (I had been putting off getting new crown because my previous dentist was very expensive), and it was very affordable and they fit me in right away. I have found my new dentist and recommend you try them out. Dr. Reece and Kai the hygienist, did really a great job. I booked an appointment as a first time patient the first of November. I spoke to an office person named Gina. I couldn't believe how long it her to make me an appt. Finally after 15 - 20 minutes she had taken all of my information including insurance information. My appt was scheduled for 11/17/22 at 2:00 p.m.. On 11/16/22 I get a text message (1 day before my appt.) asking me for my insurance information. I voice texted back that I gave everything to them when I made my appt. I was driving and was unable to retrieve that info. I told them that I would come to the appt early to fill out the necessary paperwork. She had almost 3 weeks to message me to get that information. I just got back from their office and I am fuming. I arrived 20 minutes early. Gina greeted me and took my drivers license and insurance card. I sat down to fill out the paperwork. I could hear Gina on the phone with my insurance company. Within about 10 minutes Gina comes out to the waiting room only to tell me that they were not accredited to take my insurance....which is Humana. They were hoping to be accredited by the first of November. WHY didn't she tell me when I made my appt. that they were waiting to be accredited?? Why didn't she ask me yesterday what my insurance was, just in case it was Humana....so she could tell me not to come to the appt. because they didn't take my insurance? Again, she had 3 weeks! All it would have taken was a little communication. Instead I wasted a whole day doing small chores to pass the time so I could be ready for my appt with them in the afternoon. You know what it's like to have an afternoon appt? It really kind of screws up your whole day. I worked in Doctor offices for 15 years. I know how important communication is with patients. And I know how busy people's lives are. I will not become a patient at this practice. I can see why the waiting room was empty when I entered. This whole experience from the get-go has left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

I moved across the country and had a hard time finding a new dentist because my dad has been my dentist for nearly 40 years. I'm accustomed to the best of the best when it comes to dental care. I finally found a dentist I trust. Dr. Woods has been practicing for about 30 years and has taught other dentists at ASU. When he walks into the room you instantly feel at ease. It was my first time receiving an injection, and I didn't feel any pain! I was very surprised that the person who answered the phone at Longbow a) knew what a soft-tissue laser was and b) knew the office had one without having to check. I ended up having my procedure with the laser and had no pain during or after. Healing time was nil. The front office and other staff was all very friendly, and the office is gorgeous and very comfortable. I was offered a blanket while I sat in the dental chair watching HGTV. read more

The dental hygienist was very nice and the office is clean and comfortable. My biggest complaint was their constant and overwhelming sales pitch. They take a 3D scan of your teeth and then start hammering away to sell you. The lady who stopped in during my cleaning to make the pitch made the interaction uncomfortable to say the least. I could not wait to get out of that place but I did so with $200 less in my pocket. read more

I originally went to Longbow for a cracked tooth. They stated i needed a crown. The dentist came in a told me he was filling in for one of the partners who had been injured. He prepped my tooth and made a temporary. When I went for the crown seat the dental partner was back. The crown DID NOT fit. Do they said they would redo it. I was not happy but said fine. I paid half of the $1300 cost at this time. While waiting for the second crown I received a bill for the other half. Mind you I had not received the second crown yet. Went back got the second crown seat. Told the dentist it was high. Not a correct bite. He said no it was fine. They called me with a special for cleaning for $19.99. I will be getting dental insurance in January, but since it was such a good price I said ok. Today I went to that appointment. They did xrays and I asked the assistant if this was included in the special. Also mentioned the crown was high. She took the xrays and another dentist smoothed the crown. I was waiting for my cleaning when the assistant came in and said the price was $59.99 for cleaning. I stated I was told $19.99. She said no that was for X-rays. I said I would not have come in just for X-rays. Then she had the front office gal come in and tell me that they were having an implant special for 50 percent was I interested. I said no.. not at this time. I am getting insurance in January. She said do you want the cleaning for $59.99. I said no I was told $19.99. Also for my inconvenience of going there at least 4 times for one crown as good customer service they should clean my teeth for the price I was told. I decided to leave and on my out I handed the gal $50.00 to pay for my $19.99 X-rays that I did not even want. She said they did not have change. Couldn't believe it. I paid and stated I would not be back. I have worked in dentistry myself for many years. I have never had this much trouble with getting a crown or that matter any dental work. My family recently moved across country and we needed a new dentist. We got a mailer sent to us and they were just up the road. We went in to the office to schedule appointments for all of us. We gave them our insurance information, they made copies of the card. We filled out the paperwork and they said we were all set. A week later we went in for our appointments and while we were in the dental chair they started offering us different services that they said we should get done. They even told us what our insurance company agreed to cover. When service was over, we paid about $600, which they said was our copay. A couple of months later I received a phone call from them, they said the insurance company denied our claim because they weren't in our network. They said I owed them another $1200. When I told them I wouldn't pay it, they offered to have me only pay $600. I hung up on them and they called me back about a month later saying I owed them $600, and asked what I was willing to do. I don't abide shakedowns from businesses and if you go there, you risk the same. Stay away and go someplace else read more
