I took my daughter to this clinic for an eye exam last month with Dr. Kodukula. After the exam, they pressured us to immediately sign a 2-year contract for their Treehouse myopia control program costing $3,400 ($1,700 per year). I asked for some time to think about it and declined to sign on the spot. Later, I called and asked them to email my daughter's prescription since I had already paid for the exam and lens fitting. The staff initially told me they would not provide the prescription unless we enrolled in their $3,400 program, which was very concerning. After insisting, they said they would send the glasses prescription the same day, but nothing was sent. When I called again on March 4, 2026, another employee told me to go to another provider. After the call was supposedly disconnected, I could still hear two employees from the contact lens department talking. They began mocking and insulting me, calling me "crazy" and making other rude remarks while laughing. One of them even said "Dr. K wants to get rid of her." This continued for several minutes until they realized I was still on the line and quickly ended the call saying OMG I think she's recording, This level of unprofessional and disrespectful behavior toward a patient is shocking, especially from a medical clinic. I do not recommend this place. In my experience, they seemed more focused on pushing expensive programs than treating patients with professionalism and respect. read more

I've never dealt with such utter incompetence before. My previous Eye Doctor had retired and my records were transferred there so I felt it was the safer option. That was a big mistake. Dr. Hammond didn't follow my previous Eye Doctor recommendations and decided to rock the boat and change my prescriptions. Needless to say my glasses are the wrong prescription. My contacts are the wrong prescription. They can't seem to order the right prescription. They order trials again, but they screwed that up too. I can't even tell you how much money and time I have wasted going back-and-forth to this office for such incompetence. read more

This facility is truly the "Chick-Fil-A" of optometrist offices! The most efficient well oiled machine! Not only is the facility stunning and clearly well taken care of but the staff are amazing. I interacted with 4 different staff members outside of the optometrist and every single person was so kind and did their jobs well. Huge shoutout to Dr. Kodukula, she was amazing and so personable. Sparkling water in the water machine! Beautiful decor. Service at front desk is awesome. The initial eye tech was great! We got an intern.... Dude, what is up with interns wanting to tell you the absolute worst case scenarios and won't shut the eff up?? My 8 yr old was so freaked out as is. I kept trying to move the convo off worst case scenarios for both our sakes. The optometrist came after and wasn't going to check my kid's eyes after the intern. I asked her to check and the intern's prescription was off... both were strong proponents of treatments to slow myopic deterioration but didn't have any answers. Kept deferring to the myopic specialist. Things went south from there. Optician was not friendly to my 8 yr old--which sucks bc my kid was super scared about needing glasses for the first time. And the frames are so expensive for an 8 yr old kid! The frames my kid picked were around $240. I got insurance and the optician didn't provide any info on that. Luckily I found a flyer. When the glasses were ready I got a text to use the drive thru to pick up... not sure how they ensure fit in a drive thru? We were already inside and they did the fitting super fast while we were standing in the waiting room. At home the $330 (total) glasses didn't fit... But guess what? I'm going back bc of the Starbucks machine and sparkling water. I wish I could live at this place. The amenities are that good. Just make sure you don't get an intern and don't leave without being 100% confident the glasses fit. read more

The entire experience, physically at least, is amazing. Their office is very nice and welcoming. Very high end. The staff was all super nice and Cheyenne, who did my the initial part of my exam was lovely. I forget my eye doctors name but she was very thorough and friendly but the upselling already began. She tried very hard to push me into a different contact lens brand that I already wear and was very pushy about it while also instilling doubt about my current brand. And when it came to my eye glasses, I said that I was coming in just for my exam and that I was going to use Warby Parker. She did not like that and again, instilled doubt and fear that my Warby Parker glasses would come back terrible. Also, upon leaving the guy who checked me out again tried to sell me on B&L daily contacts while even giving me a coupon. It's a good experience here and I'd even go back but clearly they are part of the Luxotica eye glasses cabal and are trying to upsell you instead of listening to your needs. After ordering glasses, I was notified the same day that the frames I chose were discontinued-no problem. The issue came when I tried to receive a refund. After leaving 2 messages and 4 attempts to speak to Tiffany, the manager of the facility I was told she was in a meeting. Poor customer service. **Ok, so I got pretty effusive in my enthusiasm and to spare folks looking for a quick-and-dirty rundown from a giant Wall Of Text, here's a summary: Great modern facility, incredibly helpful and friendly staff, you won't be rushed and they treat you more like a buddy than a random patient. Experienced, knowledgeable and willing to work out an approach that works for YOU. They've got everything you need in-house, and they make sure you can contact them with questions later. Go there if you need to see better, or even just to see how vision care is done right.** I was referred to Dr Catalasan by a ophthalmologist after reconsidering vision correction surgery. In the past year, I have seen a lot of eye specialists - surgeons, optometrists, ophthalmologists, you name it. They were all pretty typical for medical experiences, slightly irritating in the usual expected ways, but not so much I'd take to the internet to grouse about it. I don't write many reviews. That said, my experience at Lakeline Vision Source has absolutely destroyed my expectations for vision care, and if I'm ever forced (and they will have to force me) to go elsewhere, that office has an intimidating bar to reach. Let me tell you a little about why. First off, in typical old-guy fashion I mistakenly arrived an hour early because I put it in my phone wrong. They said they would try to get me in ASAP, but everyone was on their lunch hour (Right, I thought. That means it'll only be 20 minutes after my actual appointment time instead of 45). No big deal, I have an obnoxious little game on my phone I'm hopelessly addicted to, so I settled in and started tapping away. Plus, the facility is extremely pleasant. Modern, clean and open. Very comfortable. But they did get me in early. EARLY early, not DOCTOR early. Cut-their-lunch-break-short early. Huh. The tech/scribe (I'm not sure of his exact role or title.. or name, forgive me sir) took me through the usual preliminary testing. The equipment was up to date and the tests were thorough. Rather than be put out by my early arrival, or bored with running another patient through the same tests, he was really friendly and engaging. He answered questions, laughed at my awful jokes, and made a few of his own. He established rapport effortlessly and the tests flew by. He proactively anticipated solutions to improve not just my visit, but the aftercare and evaluation period for new contacts, like finding extra samples to tide me over until my order arrived. I saw Dr Catalasan for my actual exam. Aside from being really friendly and willing to pretend my jokes are funny, she's extremely knowledgeable and seems to genuinely love what she does. She took the time to answer every questions and concern I had, and even double checked a test here and there to make sure she was offering the best possible solutions. She worked WITH me to put together a care plan for my dry eyes and terrible vision, a refreshing change from being handed papers and told, "Do this." In between, she chatted about her own experiences and why she recommended the things she did. I never saw her check her watch, and she made sure I knew how to get in touch with her directly if I had any concerns or questions. Wow. I was really impressed, but I admit I wasn't really looking forward to the optical department and looking at frames. I figured it would be a small selection of bland overpriced frames and I'd have to come up with polite excuses to escape. I should have known better. Immediately on entering the department with my tech/scribe/escort (I was never left to wait alone, not once.. if there was a wait it was never more than a minute or two and they chatted with me until it was time) we were met by another very friendly member of the team (I wish I could remember names, again, please forgive me ma'am) who escorted me to her work area. I was surprised to see how many there were. She sat with me while we discussed what I needed, my usage habits (I like to fall asleep on my glasses), and style (I have none, I was literally in sweats, bleach-stained Superfriends t-shirt and SLIPPERS), and then she was off. She returned with a full tray of frames, and we talked about each one I tried on. She figured out quickly what I liked and didn't like, and each time her frames picks were getting really tough to decide between. In the end, I ended up with three frames I absolutely love, an exceptionally pleasant conversation, and a sense of relief that I'd found a vision team that does it all and is happy to do it. I can go on, there's other nice conveniences like keeping the products they recommend and common prescriptions in stock. The effortless courtesy and respect that seems to stem from actually liking their job and people. But if what I've already laid out doesn't convince you to give them a visit the next time you need your vision checked, then you're just not the type who likes to be spoiled rotten and Lakeline Vision isn't for you. read more

I've been a patient here for over two years, and I have nothing but great things to say about the doctors and staff at this location. Every time I've been there for an appointment they always get me in right away - no waiting at all! They get you in and out very quickly and are very nice. And anytime I've had to call and ask questions over the phone, they are always able to help. And drive though contacts pickup is an awesome service for those of us with contacts. There was an issue that caused my glasses to be delayed over 8 days (this in addition to the 2 weeks I was expecting to wait due to the complexities of my prescription). I was getting frustrated until Jennifer D. stepped up and proactively communicated directly with me and the lab. She actually cared enough about my experience to give me an unexpected discount on my glasses and continued to keep me in the loop about where my glasses were in the process. She turned a poor experience Into an amazing one. Just picked up my glasses and I'm thrilled with how they turned out. Issues happen outside of businesses control; but how they deal with those issues and the communication about them makes a HUGE difference in a customer's feelings about those mistakes.
