Very clean, peaceful and serene. A hidden gem. It's nice to have the infrared option as well.

In short: DO NOT recommend. Longer version: this business prioritizes money over customer experience. The "great deal" membership requires cancellation within 30 days, which locks you into paying for at least two months. There are ZERO reminders of upcoming charges, so if you don't cancel the exact day it renews, you're billed again. I was charged for January without realizing it and never used the sessions. They refused to refund that month saying since they have my signature on the agreement, it is all on me. However, one of the employees told me I could bring in family or friends in February to "make up some of my money." Yet, when I tried to bring my husband and a friend just once, I was told I had to pay. When I reminded them what I was told, they claimed I misunderstood and said, "you don't seem to understand that we're running a business here. We're not giving out free sessions to everyone." Ending it with a phrase: "this is ridiculous. Just bring whoever you want!" I was left feeling stupid and like I was trying to take advantage of them. The dismissive tone, failed promises and lack of understanding were so disappointing that I immediately said I won't ever be back. I felt misled and taken advantage of. My family has been to other salt spas before and this one is by far the worst experience we've had. read more

Wonderful massage and salt spa experience. We had a weekend appointment and got the discount for a combination of massage, salt spa treatment and infrared session. I think the best part was the massage. I liked the way the salt spa treatment cleared my sinuses. And the salt is supposed to help other things health wise. Not sure what the infrared did, but I don't think it was my thing. I am always warm and it was not comfortable. I think the best part was the massage, and it felt great. read more

The infrared therapy was a bit of a joke. They did what they could to make it a luxe experience but the infrared was pointless. My friend and I did enjoy the salt room though. We came here from a Facebook promotion deal and I was a bit skeptical, but it really cleared out my sinuses within the half hour stay. My only critique was the presence of the cheap lawn chairs in the salt room. The experience would have been elevated that much more there was legit spa furniture. read more

Had a neat first experience at the salt spa for the salt halotherapy session. The staff was friendly and the lobby seemed clean. I was relaxed for the first few minutes, though it was hard to stay relaxed with the loud noise of the generator in the room, I ended up leaving early. The room was a nice cool temperature which was nice. I was surprised to see a plastic bin of kids toys in the salt room, so that was a turn off for me. I don't think salt therapy is for me, it was neat to experience it once, though. read more

Very nice venue. Enjoyed tea and salt foot lamp in the lobby while I waited to go back for my treatment. The salt bed did not work magic on my aching back (from a recent car accident) but I definitely felt relaxed during and after. Overall the experience was a bit over priced, but I am happy I tried it once. read more

A friend and I were looking for a relaxing day on a Tuesday. They actually had appointments for us! We enjoyed a wonderful hot stone salt massage and the salt room. I have asthma so it was quite helpful with respiratory health. The receptionist was super friendly and invited us back for more treatments. Their location is super clean and inviting. I came here on Saturday afternoon with two of my friends as a part of our girls weekend. We had an amazing experience! The receptionist was very friendly and knowledgeable. The spa was extremely clean and nicely decorated. This was our first time experiencing a salt spa. All three of us suffer from various allergies and sinus issues. That morning we were all congested with sore throats and ear pain. We spent one hour in the salt room and we all fell asleep. The room was so relaxing! The chairs were comfortable, the room smelled pleasant and the background music was perfect for the setting. We woke up and immediately noticed that all of our symptoms went away! I am shocked I am the first to review the Lake Norman Salt Spa! I absolutely enjoyed my session with halotherapy! I had been dying to try the salt spa concept/halotherapy since I missed my chance to do so in Asheville last year, and I was very pleased! The experience is super relaxing and the salt room is awesome! I cannot say for sure if it really worked any "miracles" for me, but I absolutely left feeling relaxed, happy, calm and all around zen! To be totally honest the price seems a little high for what I have read online where the sessions should range from $25-$45 and this one is $59, but for the BOGO offer they are promoting in July, it is the perfect scenario! I think there are a few kinks in the front desk area as the flow seems sort of non existent and the seating area cant even sit the 7 people that they take per session. Also, if anyone stands around the couches in the seating area they are also blocking either the front door or the lockers for guests. I WILL return and I am glad this place has found its home in the LKN area :) read more

Last week, I had the privilege of having a third and a fourth halotherapy session at the Lake Norman Salt Spa. During my first two visits, which were months prior and a few months apart, I found it hard to relax (don't know if it was due to my amazement with the salt spa itself and the ambience of it all) and noticed very little symptom relief afterwards. However, during my third visit, I was far more relaxed and was actually able to fall asleep! During my fourth visit, the very next afternoon, I wasn't able to fall asleep, but my thoughts were more clear and creative. Upon leaving, and still today, I'm experiencing some relief with my sinus congestion. I'm much more convinced now having had a third and fourth visit, and believe it's something everyone should have a chance to experience! read more
