As a loyal customer of Zen Massage, the Cornelius location is excellent. With it being a new location, the lobby and the massage rooms are very nice and clean. The location is very quiet and not busy yet, I came in on a Thursday afternoon and I was quickly checked in and started my hour and a half deep tissue massage. Latasha was my therapist and she was AWESOME! I did not feel as though she rushed my massage at all and spent a lot of attention to the areas that I mentioned was giving me issues. I felt totally comfortable and relaxed with her and I walked out feeling amazing. Every time I have had a massage here, I walk out thinking, "that was the best massage I've ever had." Regardless of the provider! I do love Kristen, but Michael is excellent as well. The manager is fantastic and went over and above during a snowstorm to communicate with me and ensure I was rescheduled. I really appreciate that! SEXUAL MOLESTED. I booked three 90 minutes massage appointments for me and my sisters. I had the male massage therapist, only 10 minutes through my massage I feel odd that he only massage my back with one hand. I try to talk to myself that's nothing is going on, maybe that's just the way he massage but I was nervous. I started feel the way he massage is shaky, there's a moment that his one hand just lay on my back with no rubbing and I still can feel the shake. My guts is telling me this is not right so I looks up and I see one of his hand is holding his penis, his thing is all out. I freaked out and yell " omg what are you doing ", he is so calm turn to the side to put his penis in his pant and go pick up my phone and said "ma'am, you drop your phone". I asked him to get out and he said "seriously?", I said "you need to get out now". I called the police, the manager came in as well. He got fired and got sexually Molested record. I'm so regret to not press it harder. A day supposed to be relaxing become a nightmare, I feel insecure and so down right now. The manager at the front desk was such a pleasure and made sure she got me the appointment I wanted. I had just left Zen in Huntersville and had a terrible experience with their front desk manager and when I called here in tears they were able to get me an appointment on short notice( I'm talking 15 mins out) while I wanted a 2 hours massage, they only had time for an hour today! I had a massage set up 8 hours in advance. As I am pulling in to get my massage. I got a text message not even a phone call that they had to cancel. There therapist was fine all day but suddenly wasn't feeling well and couldn't do her last appointment. Custom service is horrible. They didn't even have the decency to call me. I was From out of town and drove 14 hours my back and neck were in so much pain from driving. I am sorry to say this was the worst experience I have ever had. I treated myself to a massage for my birthday and was very disappointed. I arrived 15 min early to fill out paperwork but was not taken back until 10 min after my appt. time. I was then escorted to a room that was very cold. I mentioned this to the masseuse and she advised me that this part of the building is always cold! I climb onto the massage table and that was also freezing! I asked if they didn't have heating blankets and she responded, yes but we didn't want the clients to get too warm since it was warmer outside!?? She them proceeded with my massage with ice cold hands and the massage oil was equally cold! When I was checking out I shared my experience with the girl at the desk, she said she was very sorry and would have the owner call me. This never happened! This was my first experience with Zen of Cornelius. I was unaware that they are individually owned. My usual place in Zen of Huntersville which always earns 5 star with me!
