There are two gas stations located at the intersection of 148th Ave NE and Main Street in Bellevue and both have made a switch in brand recently. This gas station was recently re-branded to be a Chevron station. Previously it was a 76. Interestingly the gas station across the street was formerly a Chevron station, but switched to a Shell. With the changeover to Chevron, I noticed that they have replaced all of the gas pumps here. The rest of the station is essentially the same. There is an auto repair shop and a coffee stand on the premises. There is also a U-Haul location on the backside of the gas station. As far as the gas prices go, the prices are some of the best in Bellevue. Cheaper than the Shell across the street if you are paying by credit card here. This station has two different sets of gas prices as it has a cash price and a credit card price. The credit card price is 10 cents more than paying by cash. The location of this Chevron is just down the street from another Chevron on 148th and NE 8th. The latter location tends to be really busy, whereas this location thus far when I have drove by has not been so full of cars refueling. On the negative side, this station is a bit smaller and a bit more troublesome to enter and exit from. The easiest way being to enter and exit is from 148th Ave heading north. I typically go to the Crossroads Chevron on 164th Ave since the gas prices are decent and the gas station is not as busy as the one on 148th and NE 8th. But I would consider making this my regular gas station for my monthly refuel since the gas prices are pretty good and as long as it isn't too crowded.

Toyota dealer quoted me $2000 to fix my car. They said I needed a new fuel pump. Lake Hills Chevron said I did not. They fixed my car for less than half what Toyota dealer quoted. if you can believe it, they also did an inspection on my car and told me other things I might want to fix in the future, and I swear they even fixed something I didn't ask them to fix. These guys are competent and honest. this is where I'm taking my car in the future whenever I need service. They rock. read more

I stopped by to have an indicator light on my dash checked out. Angelo took a look at the light, realized one of my brake lights was out and was able to quickly resolve the issue. He kindly let me look on through the process so I'll know how to handle it in future. It was a big relief to me to get that issue handled. He was efficient and personable which goes such a long way. Thanks again, Angelo! Much appreciated. read more

These guys are pretty good. I'm talking about the auto repair. They have worked on our cars several times now. They are always up front about costs and explain things very well. A couple times they have not even charged me - my sons car was dead, would not jump. Turned out to be the battery just needed a fast charge and they did that for free. Other garages would charge for analysis and time charging the battery. Another time I had a front end issue - again a quick fix and they didn't charge me. Pretty cool guys if you get to know them. read more

This Chevron also has a UHaul service going on and a small coffee stand. My review is just on the gas station. The gas pumps let you enter dollars straight into the machine next to the credit card machine so you save time going inside. Gas is $0.10 cheaper a gallon if you pay with cash or debit vs. credit. read more

Small station with just a few employees. Its had the same owner for 40 or so years, and the staff is always great. They've got propane refilling, an auto shop, and a uhaul dealer. There can sometimes be a wait, on account of the small staff size, but they always seem to work as efficiently as they can to serve you. read more

Giving this station five stars because of over-the-top service. I pulled in here late at night. I didn't need gas, but my tire pressure alert was going off on my car, and I needed to make sure the tire pressure was at the correct levels. First of all, the tire air here was free, which was awesome. I've used coin-operated machines before which are super frustrating. I also didn't have a tire pressure gauge with me. I went to ask for one inside, but the convenience store was closed. The guy inside noticed me at the door, and even though I had already returned to my car, came out to check if I was alright. I told him what was up, he went inside to offer me the tire pressure gauge, then helped make sure my tires were at the correct levels. Really over-the-top excellent service. I believe that the employee's name was Albert, though this happened a few months ago. Really recommend this station for the staff alone. read more

About 3 days ago I started smelling a nail polish remover smell in my car and went "oh no." A quick google search gave some possible (and intimidating) results like "A/C Refrigerant Leak" and "Coolant / Heater Core Leak" and after three days of inhaling the fumes (I know, I'm a procrastinator so sue me) I said f it and asked around for a good auto shop. My friend recommended me here, saw it was super close to my apartment, and went online to book. I got a confirmation later in the day and although my appointment was for the following day, they said I could drop my car off and they would take a look at it the following day first thing in the morning. Ok, I've the set the scene. Morning of my appointment, I get a text from the shop asking if I would have time to come by to smell something to see if was the same smell as what I was smelling in the car. Sure, no problem. I walked into the shop and lo and behold--I saw my spray bottle of RainX (that I stashed in the pocket of the passenger seat and hadn't touched since) sitting prettily on the countertop. You can see where this is going. You're reading this and going "wow, this person is...something else" but LISTEN this isn't about (just) that. Not only was Sean and the team at Ali's amazingly communicative and great to chat with, they also were transparent and honest. They didn't "magically" find an issue and charge me an arm and a leg; they located the issue that had nothing to do with the car parts, removed it, and explained (so kindly with no sense of mockery that would have been warranted lol) what was wrong. They even did an inspection to double check nothing was wrong with my car and gave me the clean pass--no charge. I'm blown away. I will definitely be coming back for any of my auto needs because of the people, the service, and the transparency here. Hope you had a laugh reading this and a HUGE thank you to the team at Ali's!
