cars parked at a gas station

There are two gas stations located at the intersection of 148th Ave NE and Main Street in Bellevue and both have made a switch in brand recently. This gas station was recently re-branded to be a Chevron station. Previously it was a 76. Interestingly the gas station across the street was formerly a Chevron station, but switched to a Shell. With the changeover to Chevron, I noticed that they have replaced all of the gas pumps here. The rest of the station is essentially the same. There is an auto repair shop and a coffee stand on the premises. There is also a U-Haul location on the backside of the gas station. As far as the gas prices go, the prices are some of the best in Bellevue. Cheaper than the Shell across the street if you are paying by credit card here. This station has two different sets of gas prices as it has a cash price and a credit card price. The credit card price is 10 cents more than paying by cash. The location of this Chevron is just down the street from another Chevron on 148th and NE 8th. The latter location tends to be really busy, whereas this location thus far when I have drove by has not been so full of cars refueling. On the negative side, this station is a bit smaller and a bit more troublesome to enter and exit from. The easiest way being to enter and exit is from 148th Ave heading north. I typically go to the Crossroads Chevron on 164th Ave since the gas prices are decent and the gas station is not as busy as the one on 148th and NE 8th. But I would consider making this my regular gas station for my monthly refuel since the gas prices are pretty good and as long as it isn't too crowded.

Great family running the station and Uhaul pick up. They were very helpful and very kind when we had issues with the rental.

Have stopped in here a few times as it is close to one of my job sites and close to areas where I…read moreget my car serviced. The Arco that accompanies "ampm" is about what you'd expect. It looks nice on the inside, like any 7 Eleven or Quick Chek (for any fellow NJ readers seeing this). The store is well stocked and has just about any snack you could want that a convenience store carries. You sure pay for it though. A Slim Jim, bag of chips and a 20 oz. sweet tea ran me almost $10. The staff here are always kind of iffy. In my latest visit the one guy I guess a manager came over really close to me but acted like he was cleaning up the hot food station, when all he was doing was moving stuff around trying to look busy and maybe keep tabs on me. The cashier was bleh too. I think she just scanned my items without a peep. Maybe I should consider myself lucky. I'm sure I'll find my way back here in the name of convenience but don't expect much else.

I then proceed to put my card in and it tells me to go in to pay at the attendant(which is a inconvenience when all I need is gas) went inside and they said they have no gas and will not take payment. Went back outside and said they are not taking payments after George came up to me once again and said they where. I said I have no time for this and proceeded to drive off he told me to get the hell out of here then. The lack of access even before the construction was abysmal and now their dilapidated rubber strips make it worse and tacky. This area is home to a lot of low and lowered very high end cars, get your $#!? Together. Ambience is that of a musky truck stop. Food is lousy.
