    Hilary Clinton's Box
    Kody P.

I created a yelp account to warn everyone that instead of beef, they're serving the people of Apple Valley raw slices of Hillary Clinton's box in their chow mein. Soaked through the bottom of the container before I even got home to the disappointment.

All the extra stuff from only ONE wonton as well as the metal shavings

If we could give it a zero we would. As avid Chinese lovers we love the opportunity to try new places. Unfortunately this has to be one of the worst places south of the river. Not only were we missing itema, got wrong items, but we also found metal shavings in our food from a wire scrub brush which makes sense with the soapy taste. I also tried their try 3 apps, egg rolls, chicken wings, and cheese wontons... and all where over fried and unable to get to the inside contents. Even my 3yr old didn't want to eat the cheese inside the wontons after peeling away 3 layers of over fried dough.

Delicious sweet and sour chickens, Fantastic!

The foods are just like the name Happy. The best Chinese foods that I ever had. Reasonable price and foods are fantastic delicious. I highly recommended everyone in the neighbors come here for the Chinese foods. You won't disappoint at all.

Vegetable egg roll and dipping sauce
    Jesse H.

This little hole-in-the-strip-mall turned out to be surprisingly tasty. The vegetable egg rolls seemed quite home-made, with a hearty, cinnamon-bias and crunchy cabbage. We ordered Beijing Chicken and Sai Dai Pork, as neither of us were familiar with these dishes. The pork was particularly enjoyable, with a smoky grill flavor, a gooey brown sauce and a good spice kick. I don't like it when Chinese food is drenched in oily, generic, too-sweet, runny brown sauce. This sauce was none of those things. The chicken was more familiar, bearing strong similarity to sweet and sour chicken. However, it had a significantly stronger spice kick and was more sour than sweet. It was definitely not stingy with the onions, green peppers and pineapples, like many typical S&S chicken dishes. We ate in, and the decor did not initially inspire confidence, however I recommend you don't judge this book by the cover and try them out if you're in the area. The only reason it's down a star is the lack of ambience, as others have reported. Service was fine, a little curt, from a Chinese-born dude in his 30's, and we were the only people dining in.

Wow was this gross. We ordered orange chicken, moo goo gai pan/ fried rice combo dinner, egg drop soup, dumplings... $31. First off, moo goo gai pan is supposed to be in a white sauce. They did it in brown teriyaki. Did they just not want to make the sauce? The chicken was dehydrated, the veggies frozen, they put canned mushrooms in the soup. Just a big ole NO!!! Don't go there. Go to Simplee Pho instead down 150th and Galaxie. They do both Vietnamese and Chinese (American style). It's better than this mess.

i stoped by lai wah today , i ordered veggie veggie lo mein . i loved it .

lai wah is the best (chinese restaurant) in apple valley, i love the pot sticker (dumpling), they are made it by hands there isnt any place still made it by hands. also the curry chicken fried rice isnt bad at all and they have tradition chow mein. my mom loves the chow mein with the egg foo young . i would try it again in future. overall, not too bad. there is a reason why i give them 4 stars , i dont know why they only open 4pm-8pm on sunday ??

The best chicken broccoli ever, it not too oily or salty. Just perfect like the way I like it. This will be my must come for lunch place .

Everything was fresh and flavorful. The sesame chicken was amazing, easily the standout, and the chicken quality across all dishes was excellent with generous portions. The Singapore chow fun was delicious and packed with flavor, and the extra protein/veggies was well worth it. The staff was incredibly friendly and even mentioned that if there were any issues with the order, I could call back and they'd make it right. That kind of customer service goes a long way. Online ordering was easy and seamless. The inside is small with only a few tables, but they clearly do takeout very well. Quick service, great food, and genuinely kind staff. We'll definitely be ordering again.

Pho was a bit sweet. I would pass on that next time. Chow fun was one of the best I've ever had. Lemongrass chicken was really good and not easily available at other places so I would go back just for that. Chicken wings were so hot and crispy! We ordered them spicy but they were not spicy. The sauce was more sweet and sour. Ask for chili oil but be careful and only use a little because that is spicy! They do not have tap water, bottles available for purchase.

We've tried a few different items here multiple times and it's always decent. My coworker thinks it's the best around here, you do have to go out farther for more authentic Asian food. I ordered online which was a little confusing because for over an hour it kept only saying that my order was being prepared so I ended up just going over there eventually and it seems my order was already ready. It seemed to be all correct but I ended up being a bit disappointed - my sesame chicken ended up just being some fried chicken pieces with a side of sweet and sour sauce with sesame seeds sprinkled on top which is not typically my idea of sesame chicken. On the plus side though the cream cheese Rangoons were yummy and there was a bonus egg roll in my order which was an unexpected surprise. I really liked the egg rolls -- you can tell they are made in house. They're chocked full of ingredients and are a good size. The moo goo gai pan had good amount of both chicken and vegetables. The dish also included vegetables. I ordered via their website and scheduled a pick up -- the order was ready on time. I've driven by this location multiple times and thought it was an abandoned building. So when I read about it online in my hunt for a true Cantonese style eggroll I was shocked to find out that this was the place when I pulled up. When I try to enter I discovered that they are currently only doing takeout only in the after order ahead. The interior looks like it has been re-decorated in over 25 years ago and they still have a cigarette machine. So I don't say these things as judgments but they were concerns but in-spite of it I ordered anyways. When I got home With my reservations about my order I discovered that I had in fact found a new hidden gem. I had the sweet-and-sour pork with Kenny's deli rolls and they were excellent. The food reminded me of the Cantonese restaurants that I used to eat at back home in the Chicago area.
