We had the pleasure of experiencing their five-course dinner, complemented by a wine pairing, which was both delightful and enjoyable at the price of $117 per person. 1. For the appetizer, we enjoyed fried olives and a stuffed peppers filled with goat cheese. This dish was light and flavorful, perfectly paired with a generous serving of chilled red wine. An additional app was given of fresh tomatoes accompanied by baby arugula. 3. The second course showcased rigatoni pasta served with short rib and a truffle cream sauce, which was nothing short of delicious. 4. For the main course, we had our Delmonico steak medium rare with mushrooms. It was good & tender Cooked to how we liked. 5. Finally we concluded with desert assortment and paired with desert wine. I highly suggest this to everyone. Also got to meet chef Alex. Happy tummy!

Enoteca Lago restaurant is a combination of a casual tiki bar on one side and a higher-end Italian restaurant on the other. It's nestled into a Beach community in Ashtabula. A bit challenging to get to from Cleveland, but nice on a sunny day, or lazy day when you don't have any other plans like we didn't on my birthday weekend. Upon entering you see a very welcoming seating area and wine display. Lago makes several of their own wines and then carries other producers. While they are planning to grow their own grapes right now they buy from local producers. WINE, Manager Ressi, came out and explained the different lines and she's very knowledgeable about the flavors in the wines they make. See my blog at wine sage review . Com for wines. loved the presentation of the trio options of their pasta and I put chicken on each, one protein purchase across all three. The chicken parm looked awesome too it was. The grilled chicken was grilled fired and it was wonderful flavor. Service was wonderful. It was quiet at 5:00 pm on a Thursday but we enjoyed I'm going conversation with Sarah and Ressi, and loved it. Service was wonderful. We went opening weekend and the food was great. We look forward to returning and seeing what specials and new dishes they come up.

We stopped here for dinner while camping with harvest host. The chicken parm was the best that I've had in years. Drinks were delicious, wine selection was great. Service was great. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Friday night and not many people dinning but it was closer to closing time. Very surprised there wasn't more people in here with how good everything was. Great spot :)

Arincino. This entire dish just blew tastebuds away.

If you are longing for some authentic Italian cuisine, then you need to come here. The restaurant has a beautiful, classy interior that is very warm and welcoming. They have an extensive wine list that is NE Ohio focused along with a craft cocktail list. I had a Negroni Sbagliato. It was the perfect balance of bitter and sweet. Next came the arancino. Honestly, this was the best one that I have ever eaten. The flavors, the fry, and sauce were spot on. My husband enjoyed the spaghetti and then the chicken. Each item was better than the next one. I enjoyed the sea scallops with the pea puree. Pure heaven. The scallops were perfectly cooked. The prosciutto adds the right amount of saltiness, and then the pea puree is smooth, bright, and hits the right balance for this dish. It is well worth the drive. I can't wait to go back.

I was struck by the interesting architecture and proposed that we take a walk, which brought us to a delightful wine bar. We were very happy we decided to go inside! Street parking is ample. There was only one other couple dining when we were there and they also seemed to be having a great time. The restaurant seemed very adamant about reservations being made in advance either by phone or their website (their hours are very limited, so reserving online is much easier). The food is very tasty, though the options are very limited (4 entrees and 2 specials). I believe this allows the small staff to create really delicious, fresh, and special plates. You can tell they take pride in their food and put love into everything on the plate. The vegetarian special, the eggplant parmesan, was made with quality cheese and the pasta was wildly fresh. The steak meal had the most delicious bourbon glazed carrots I've ever eaten. The menu mentions the availability of vegan alternatives. Our server was excited to talk about the ingredients and cooking process and was attentive and kind the entire meal. She really worked to ensure that everything was perfect. The restaurant is on the second floor of the building (fairly steep stairs) with one or two tables downstairs in the gift shop area, so be very mindful if accessibility is a concern.

My wife and I came to this spot over a decade ago, and just recently introduced it to a group of friends while we were up in the area on a winery weekend excursion. A super small and intimate space, it is really fun to watch Alessandro perfect his craft in such a small kitchen...honestly it is amazing! Service was very pleasant and attentive, although meal prep time is longer than normal due to the unique nature of this restaurant...but trust me, it is worth the wait! We each started with a small house salad while we sipped our wine and munched on fresh bread. Then came the calamari, served in a small bowl of herbed rich tomato-based broth with chunks of crusty bread for sopping up the delicious sauce. For my main dish, I chose one of the nightly specials which was veal osso buco. It was so meaty, so rich and full of flavor that it was hard to put my fork down! Everyone around the table raved about their meal choice, and we all left with full bellies and smiles on our faces. Definitely don't sleep on this place and don't let looks deceive you from the outside...because inside is the real deal!

It is an original piece of equipment from the famed Coney Island amusement park in New York City from the early 1900's. It was brought to Geneva-On-The-Lake in the late 1930's and installed in its current location as part of a small amusement gallery where it was eventually covered over and forgotten. Some time in the early 2000's (during a renovation of the space) it was uncovered and brought back to life. It still works to this day, and the owners were delighted to crank it up for us to see. As for the food, sadly the meal left a lot to be desired. The house salad to start was just fine topped with a balsamic dressing, but the smoked lobster dip and the lobster lasagna were just not good. You could hardly taste any lobster in the dip, and the lasagna was too oily, did not have enough cream sauce and did not taste super fresh. The other couple dining with us that evening was also less than impressed with their meal selections...so although the nostalgia factor was high, our dining expectations were not met.

No shooting, but they turn it on about every 20 minutes and all the pieces move while creaking and squeaking. I ordered the Apple Salad and the walleye special, and was pleasantly surprised with both. The salad had a house honey lavender dressing that went well with the apples and carrots, seemed fresh, and was a nice portion size. The walleye was a generous portion, well cooked, cajun style, and served with garlic and oil spaghetti. I enjoyed my entree quite a bit. My friends were less enthused with their entrees, both prepared well, but smaller portion sizes. It's an interesting place, and maybe worth a visit for a drink or appetizer. Again, I did enjoy my food, but the overall experience was interesting.
