    Jambalaya! So good.
    Susie H.

Came here for a festive night out near Christmas. 11/10 did not disappoint. The festive holiday cocktails were great - my server suggested either Dirty Santa or The Grinch. Both were delicious. The tuna nachos had a spicy kick to them but were good. The jambalaya was a large portion and was also good. We asked them to make our espresso martinis festive - and they added a candy cane and a festive stirrer. They had a nice wine list too. Only downside was trying to find parking - but our server was great! Her name started with an M (I think). I will come back here for sure.

Absolutely love this spot! The food was sooo delicious & fresh! I absolutely love the roasted oysters. They were amazing! I visited this spot during halloween season which was so fun. They are all decked out and have fun halloween cocktails! I would highly recommend this spot to anyone in this area. They have a wide menu with lots of options. Parking wise: we did have some trouble. They lot was full and the line for valet was SO long. So definitely build in some time for parking!!

    Hair in butter

Our visit started off well. Our server Morgan was pleasant, and the brunch menu seemed to offer something for everyone. A good start went downhill quickly when one of our plates came out with hair in the butter. Our server apologized and took it back to the kitchen for it to be remade, which was fine. The bigger problem was that we weren't offered any type of compensation (a percentage off the entree that had hair, comped beverages, something). I'm not expecting a free meal or anything outrageous, but something for the inconvenience of having to wait while the kitchen remade the order would've gone a long way. I'm not sure if this falls on management for not empowering their employees to make these types of decisions, or if it was up to Morgan, and she didn't care to offer. Either way, the food wasn't good enough to overlook the customer service failure.

    Salmon BLT

This place was really nice and casual! They had outdoor dining and the doors open. Our sever was very nice and professional. Our food was brought out piping hot and delicious. I ordered the Salmon BLT with the Cajun tots and the Summer in Chamblee cocktail. Oh and the deviled eggs and Thai Fried as appetizers. The cocktail was incredibly refreshing and perfect for a warm afternoon! I didn't get andouille on the deviled eggs which I later regretted because I felt like they needed a little crunch. The Salmon BLT was tasty. Although I wish they didn't put such a thin piece of Salmon on it. The Cajun tater tots were cooked to perfection and absolutely amazing! I would go back just for those alone. All in all, a really good culinary experience!

Came here for my cousins birthday with a party of 8. My husband and I split the chicken wings and I got the chicken biscuit for my entree. Both were very tasty but something seems to have changed with the wings once last time we got them. Can't really tasty that it was grilled. The server was kind but messed up the surprise cake we got for my cousin. She brought out share plates before the cake so that gave it away. We also paid for a cake cutting fee and they tried to cut the cake at the table which would have been a mess. Had to ask them to take it back to kitchen to cut.

Lagarde has really amped up their brunch menu. Before it was more like a lunch menu, but when we were there last week, it was pretty legit. The food was all really nicely, presented and prepared, and there was not a bad bite to be had. The only Negative thing I could say was that the drinks were slightly lackluster, but I think it was because the ice melted on the patio.

Came with a group of 7 people after work. We all enjoyed our drinks but the mystic tai really topped the list! We also split a bunch of appetizers like the fried okra, calamari, and grilled oysters. We sat on the patio to enjoy the good weather and service was lovely too. Parking: private shared lot with lots of spots.

How have I never heard of this place before??? Had some family in the area who wanted to do brunch and this was close to all of us. We did have a reservation for brunch which I thought was because they were quite busy for a Saturday!! Only disappointment of the trip was we tried getting the cinnamon roll but they didn't have it that day which was sad. But the rest of the meal was great. I went with the breakfast BLT and that was a huge sandwich. Delicious food and such a cute vibe. Would definitely be fun to sit outside.

A friend of mine sent us an Instagram reel and mentioned she wanted to celebrate her birthday here. I thought, "Why not? The place looks cute." I wasn't overly excited, assuming it was more about the atmosphere and decorations. Boy, was I wrong! The food was amazing I kid you not! They do a fantastic job with the decor, changing it monthly to match the holiday. What We Ordered: * Brussels Sprouts: Super good and crispy! * Calamari: A bit salty for my taste, but still enjoyable. * Oysters: We ordered two of each variety they had (sorry, I can't recall the names). They were small but fresh! I'm not usually a fan of Gulf Coast oysters, but these were perfect. Bayou Pasta: Let me brag about this dish! Our server, who was very nice, recommended it as one of their most popular items. I can see why, it was bussin'! So good that I came back the next day to get some to go! Hanger Steak: Surprisingly, this was a hit too! Cooked perfectly, tender, and amazing!

Great after work evening location for a Friday! The parking seems a little full but there's lots of locations sharing one lot. However, people are coming and going pretty fast. As you walk up you'll see a patio out back. I saw kids and a dog and thought about my pups! Walk inside and there's plenty of seating. I sat at the bar and was greeted shortly after. I enjoyed a voodoo-Rita. It was amazing with a small punch! If you enjoy oysters or thinking of trying them... the grilled oysters were superb. Finished my evening off with the pasta but didn't get through half. The staff were very nice and friendly.

Hidden gem in Chamblee, how did I pass by this place so many times and not eat? The food is SO good. The service was amazing, our server stayed ready for our bottomless mimosa refills. My shrimp and grits and salad were so good. I literally ate for 2 hours to get through it all. It's a big restaurant with indoor and outdoor spaces. The inside is the restaurant is modern but also has big screens for a sports bar vibe. Definitely will be a regular here!

I have only came here for dinner so coming here for brunch was definitely a different experience. I do feel like my food was okay. I started with oysters first and I felt like they did not taste as fresh as I usually would have them. They were still good though. when it came to the chicken and French toast, the French toast was amazing. I love French toast honestly and the chicken on top was good too, but the pickled peppers did not taste good on top of all of it. I tried to take them all off, but the flavor was just soaked in the chicken, so it gave it a sour taste. I did not like the peppers at all. I love the french fries though . My friend sent her barbecue shrimp back because it did not look like barbecue shrimp and it was pretty watery. We were a little confused by that dish. Other than that, the experience was great, our server was very attentive, and it was just a beautiful day to be outside . Love the outdoor side.

Deviled eggs - pancake crumbles and bacon, no maple glaze for me though.

Omg is this place under new management?? Because what our incident maybe be because of an off day but I feel so let down by a few people. First off I walk-in (1:27pm) and since it's a nice day, I ask to sit outside. I'm with my mother who uses a cane too. Well the only table was directly in the sun and I thought I was okay with it until it came full force and I was on fire. So, I went to the hostess desk to ask for another table and to inform them that a party was leaving and we'd like to move. She tells me to take it up with my server. Okay fine. After that we waited another 15 mins or so, then after they left I informed our waiter that they moved. We waited probably another 25 or so mins and were moved instead to an inside table and not the one we asked to move to. I guess so he didn't have to deal with us. I felt the service and blatant disregard for customers could be felt from everyone who saw me and my elderly mother sitting in the sun burning up for 40+mins. We were then moved inside where the new waitress who then (had to feel the brunt of the situation) took us. The only thing that made this experience better is because the woman server who took us noticed we were just sitting outside being ignored and she apologized on behalf of our dumb guy server with stupid dangly earring. I'm wondering was there no manager on duty either?? Because how did you not notice people just sitting with no food or drinks for so long?? I'm so embarrassed, I was hyping this place up. Also let me add, that the buser kept coming outside looking at the dirty table going back inside, I was confused if he was the actual buser. HOWEVER, once we were moved inside he bused every single table and picked up every little speck of trash wth???Anyway, over an hour after being here we got to order and some time after we got our food. We both ordered the pear salad (mom loved it), the salmon bites, and the Thai shrimp, both appetizers have shrunk in portion size since I got them last. But I guess that's okay because they also lowered the price of them. The salmon bites taste different but still decent. The shrimp went from maybe like 10 shrimp to 3 large sized ones. Do yourself a favor and when you come in just sit at the bar or right away ask to sit in Naomi's section. She's a gem.

At first there was a mix up with who was serving us do we got explained the drink menu twice. After our appetizer, we waited about 30-40 minutes for the rest of our items which took longer than we thought. They did give us some house made popcorn to keep us busy. Jahjoy pork belly: Tasty & tendor. I loved the papaya salad which left a refreshing contrast. A bit too saucy for me. Flavors were strong. Squid ink bucatini: our favorite! Must get dish - bucatini is perfectly al dente & the spicy sauce was very flavorful. Jumbo shrimp was delicious, and the anchovy on top left a nice strong flavor. Red snapper: This has some Vietnamese influences with the sauce. It was a lighter dish which was just OK for me, I would have liked the fish to have a crispier skin. Not much flavor besides the sauce which is inspired by canh chua. Wagyu flank steak: cooked to perfection and flavored well, loved the celery puree which was much tastier than we expected celery to be. Dessert was mint chocolate cake which was very tasty. I wish the cake was softer and meltier in the center but it was still good. Malt gelato was delicious. Could def taste the mintiness. Creme pat along the edges was a nice add to the cake with cacao nibs and popcorn for a textural contrast. I enjoyed it!! Overall we had a great meal and could tell the ingredients were very fresh. The presentation for all the dishes was beautiful!! We can tell the chef puts care in his food :) Appreciated the personal touch - they gave a handwritten card to my husband for his birthday!

I found…read morethem on Yelp a week or so before and ended up making a reservation on their website the next day. I'm so glad we listened to the other reviews and gave them a visit because our entire table of four had a lovely time. We started with drinks and I settled on a glass of wine. They had the exact type of sauvignon blanc that I wanted, which was an immediate win. As a group we settled on the whipped goat cheese and brussel sprouts for appetizers. The brussel sprouts came with bacon so I steered clear, but the others raved about them. The whipped goat cheese dip was also a nice choice with the garden veggies. Super creamy and refreshing. As for my entree I went with risotto of the week with salmon. It was absolutely delicious and I ate every bite. We had a birthday in the group so we of course had to get desserts. We shared the creme brulee and this super decadent chocolate cake. Both with fresh berries, love! The creme brulee was definitely my favorite of the two, but you can't go wrong. As for the space itself, it's beautiful. It gave off a sort of a modern farmhouse vibe with the wood and brick. With the twinkle lights and earthy touches bringing it all together. Our service was also on point. Jackson was awesome (as you can see in the other reviews) and kept the good vibes flowing all night. I would definitely come here again.

The Ashford is a pretty nice place to grab either brunch, lunch, or dinner! We came around 7, so we had dinner. You can sit outside or inside, the weather was really nice, but we just wanted to sit inside in the AC. I got a glass of the bieler rose, which was recommended by our server. My wife got the lavender daydreams cocktail, which was really good! We all shared the chicken spring rolls and the burrata bruschetta. Both were really good! The chicken spring rolls were in a rice paper, and not the usual wonton paper. I don't usually like the rice paper spring rolls, but these ones weren't too bad. For our main, me and my wife got the chicken schnitzel. They even split it on two different plates for us too, which was nice of them to do. It was SO GOOD. Pretty sure I inhaled mine! We also shared the mac and cheese and the mashed potatoes. The mac and cheese was soooooo good. It was a pimento mac and cheese, and had herbed breadcrumbs. Chef's kiss! The only reason this isn't getting 5 stars, is because our food took FOREVER to come out. There were some larger parties, so I do get it, but this was like 30-45 minutes forever. Also, I can't remember which dish, but one of the dishes me and my wife got was cold, so we asked to send it back to get a warmer version, which they did. They comped this off the bill, which was nice. That didn't bother me as much as the food coming out so late. Had that not been the case, I would've given this review 5 stars! The food was really really good. We would definitely still come back in the future!

Coming inside it's a lot bigger than what you would expect. They have a wall of wine, as they should, they have a back room where they do tastings, and not like four tables that are set up. They have like tastings and cooking lessons as well so there's tables and stoves and all sorts of things. They have a full kitchen with a kitchen menu that I hear. The fool was pretty good. I actually didn't try the food on the first time around because I just eaten and I just wanted to stop And to see what it was about because it's been on my list. When I went I sat at the bar and the bartender (Tay) took care of me. She was super cool and we had a good conversation. The bar has liquor there so it's not only wine. They have a very limited selection of liquor but there is liquor there. They have a cocktail menu, again. It's kind of limited, but they can pretty much make whatever you need. But the show the spotlight is going to be on the wine selections. Wish they had plenty of them. I was picking out a wine to try and she definitely helped and gave good advice and led me in a good direction. She was awesome. Now they have a wine club. This wine club is pretty good, so I may consider trying it. I'm already part of wine club elsewhere, but this one might be a little bit different. For the wine club you pay a price and you get about four bottles of wine, but you also get to do all of the tastings as well. You get the good a membership discount if you bring people in to dine-in as well. There's a lot that goes into it. There should be a picture of it in my review so check that out. Oddly enough, they also have trips that they go on for people who want to visit different wine venues. It's really surprising because that isn't a small thing to take group trips to some random part to sample wine. But if you're a wine drinker, and you have the the money to spend, this would be cool to be around like-minded people. They really have a lot to offer! I thought it was a really good random walk-in for me, I enjoyed it. The atmosphere was good, the selections were really good, the customer service was really good, it was great on all parts.

The cashier was really nice and explained how everything worked. The flavors were layered and intentional. Not generic, not bland. I love when salads don't taste like an afterthought. What really impressed me was the hot sauce bar. That blew me. They had multiple hot sauces, and as someone who's basically a hot sauce connoisseur, I appreciate that because different hot sauces pair better with different foods. That detail alone elevated the experience. The space was big, clean, bright, and full of color. It felt fresh. Overall, I was genuinely impressed. I love this dish when it's done right but most of the time they kill it by hours and hours of overcooking. Yes, it's very tender once it gets to you but it tastes like nothing, just mush.. Portico managed to make it perfect. Overall: sleek decor, good service, patio, full bar, self parking. Worth a try if in the area or staying at the hotel.
