I purchased a dress for a summer wedding and was very disappointed with the quality. The material felt extremely cheap, both in the fabric itself and in the overall construction of the dress. The measurements listed online appear to be standardized across all dresses and did not reflect the actual fit of this particular item. The dress was significantly tighter than expected, and I could not zip it up despite ordering based on the provided measurements. I also found the return/exchange policy frustrating. While I understood that only exchanges are offered, it is disappointing that customers are required to pay for shipping both to return the item and again to receive a replacement. Buyer beware. This was a complete waste of money. The dress I received looked nothing like the photos and was clearly not the satin material advertised. The fabric is extremely cheap, with visible loose threads and poor construction throughout. It feels like a low-quality knockoff, not something worth anywhere near the price charged. What made this worse was the customer service. They refused to issue a proper refund and instead tried to push store credit, despite the item being misrepresented. Terrible Service, terrible Product. I purchased my wedding dress from here. It came damaged, with both straps torn off, beading on the dress missing and strings hanging down where decorative beading was. The dress came dirty, with make up inside from previous return. BLACK TIE REFUSED to refund my money, despite not having a nother dress to replace it with and offered me only $50 pay to have the dress fixed and cleaned myself. I understand that have a no return policy, but when they can not replace an important item like a wedding dress, and send the a damaged dress that is unwearable. It is inexcusable. Additionally, they did not have a single white wedding dress in my size to replace it with. I was offered NO options so that I could purchase a new dress, leaving me without any money to purchase a new dress. Staff was rude, and refused to respond to my requests. Only thing they did well is sending out the dresses on time. Do not waist your time ordering from them because the quality of dresses are cheap. They also do not have true sizes, everything runs small. They have very poor costumer service and they refuse to allow you to chose from their full inventory when you ask for an exchange. They only offer you to pick from 10 old style dresses for you to choose as a replacement dress. They make you pay for shipping for a dress you don't even want. Do not recommend!!!! While purchasing a dress, I noticed spots on the fabric during checkout. I immediately informed the associate that I did not want the dress with these stains, she explained that the transaction had already been processed and that a refund could not be issued. I inquired if another dress was available, to which she responded that none were in stock but she would check if one could be ordered or if the dress could be professionally cleaned. I later received an email notifying me that the dress was ready for pick-up, so I returned to the store. Upon inspecting the item, I was dismayed to see that while an attempt had been made to clean the dress, the color had been significantly removed in the process. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, I was met with indifference, as they downplayed the issue. As a customer who purchased a brand-new dress at full price, I was expecting a product in pristine condition. Instead, I received a damaged item and was not provided with an acceptable resolution. Having worked in retail for many years, I have never experienced such a lack of customer care and service, which is why I would never shop there again. This place kept popping up in my social media feeds, so my daughter and I went yesterday to look for her prom dress. The place was packed with people and they only had a few dressing rooms available. By the looks of it, we would have had to wait over an hour to try anything on. As it was, none of the styles my daughter found online ahead of time were in stock (these also happened to be the ones that were in our budget), and all the dresses were either $500+ or had pills/tears/threads all over them. We drove over an hour to get there but left after 20 minutes without trying anything on. Very disappointing. read more

Lady black tie had an awesome selection of dresses, as well as sizes. everything is reasonably priced. however, the staff was extremely unfriendly, and unpleasant. you only get a 30 minute period of time to try on dresses, which made the process super overwhelming. maybe appointments are something that should be considered?! read more

Let me say the the quality of the dress and the customer service is one of the best I have ever had the pleasure of using. They are fast with your order! Returns are easy if you follow the return policy. Re read it and make sure you understand it before ordering. They will not take a used dress back with stains or smells and you ship the dress at your cost. Nor should they take a worn dress. The dresses are well made. This company is literally the worst company out there to buy formalwear from. They sold my daughter a dress for prom that looked nothing like the photo. They made her pay for the return. They will only issue store credit, but make that credit hard to use. They do not answer questions pertaining to your store credit and that is only when they choose to respond after a day or two. They do not have anyone at this establishment that you can actually speak to making it even harder if the dress you receive isn't a fit. They drug it out so long with not assisting her that she ran out of time and could not order from them. This ruined my daughters prom and has the worst customer service I have dealt with from any retailer. Stay away from this company and choose one that will actually work with you and not keep your money when you do not receive a dress. They are crooks in my opinion. read more

The sizing is Asian so my size 10 daughter needed an XL and would have taken an XXL but they didn't have it in the dress she wanted. Prices are in line with the quality. I'm so sorry that I ever ordered from the company. SHADY. My first clue should've been the fact that no one ever answers phone. All communications are via emails. This is a WARNING make sure you read the return/exchange policy before placing ordering. I did, so I knew that there are NO REFUNDS only store credit. Now, I returned a gown ($650) on 04/01/2022 for an exchange. 3weeks later and I had not received exchange nor email explaining the delay. I email LBT. They are clueless, ask for tracking number. Dress was signed for on 4/1/22. Instead of them taking responsibility, packaging up a new dress and sending it to me ASAP so that maybe it will arrive in time for my sons wedding? No they didn't. Sizes are limited so the size I need is no longer available. They probably never had that size anyway. read more
