The measurements listed online appear to be standardized across all dresses and did not reflect the actual fit of this particular item. The dress was significantly tighter than expected, and I could not zip it up despite ordering based on the provided measurements. I also found the return/exchange policy frustrating. While I understood that only exchanges are offered, it is disappointing that customers are required to pay for shipping both to return the item and again to receive a replacement. Overall, the experience was frustrating and not what I expected.

This Macy's is located inside the Solomon Pond Mall in Marlborough…read more I was doing some shopping in the mall and happened upon this Macy's store so I decided to go inside and look around. The store was pretty quiet and that made for a nice, relaxed shopping experience. I browsed around in the women's clothing department and they had a great selection of Spring and Summer clothing at very reasonable prices. They were running a good sale. I also shopped the cosmetic counters and found a nice moisturizer so I ended up buying that. The employees were friendly and eager to help. The store was kept well stocked and clean. I would like to come back and shop at this location again.

We made a quick face at each other because the worker, Connor, looked unclean, and the smell coming from him caught us off guard. We did not say a single word to him. Connor suddenly started calling us rude names out of nowhere. At one point, he even spat in our direction. Then he said we could not afford anything based on how we looked and how we were dressed. It was shocking because nothing happened to cause that reaction except for the quick look my husband and I exchanged. The whole thing felt disrespectful and completely unprofessional. We walked out right after because no one should be spoken to or treated like that. This was honestly a terrible experience, and I would not come back. I will not be sharing a name or any identification, because I do not want to be attacked personally outside of the mall. I am unsure if the job is fit for that worker, as he clearly has outbursts.

My prom happened years ago, but the terrible experience I had here I still remember clearly…read more When I came here to try on dresses they had plenty of nice dresses and I remember being so excited after getting fitted to get the dress I tried on (size 8) in a smaller size and tailored to fit me, because it was way too big. Fast forward to the day when I went to pick it up. We clearly set a day and time when it would be ready, but when I arrived I got blank stares and they had clearly completely forgotten about me. They told me to come back in 2 hours. My boyfriend at the time drove me to the store and it was too far for us to go home and back, so we loitered around the area for 2 hours... We were both pissed and ready to leave when I finally went in to get the dress. When I tried it on I was in a hurry because my parents and boyfriend were being impatient and wanting me to get home, so I did not notice how terrible the fit was and how it would scrunch up at my belly to make me look fat. I noticed that and much more later, and that the dress was the exact same one I'd tried on--the sample one that was a size 8!! They clearly did not even order my size and made do with terribly rushed alterations on an old dress that had been hanging there for I don't even know how long. By this time, however, it was much too late for me to get a new dress or alteration. This did not completely ruin my prom for me because I still had fun with friends, but the whole night I was readjusting and readjusting my poorly fitted dress, which was bothersome. I could see that still, in all the pictures, I had wrinkles near the belly where it should have been smooth because it did not fit me properly. I was upset about this whole experience and meant to write a review much sooner, but never got around to it because thinking about this whole event made me so sad. I even pretended everything was okay to my parents because they spent so much money (over $350) and I didn't want them to be upset. I am now more mature and know not to let people step on me and give me terrible service without complaining, but I regret that I never said anything to the employees. I still have the dress hanging in my closet and it's a beautiful dress, but I will have to perhaps get alterations again if I ever want to wear it. Clearly I should have read the yelp reviews on this place before I went.

I recently found Butter London nail polish that retails for a pricey $15 a bottle for $4. I've also found products from Bliss and Shiseido for a fraction of the retail price. This is a great place if you're into trendy things. Let's face it, trends come and go fast these days so it doesn't make sense to break the bank for accessories or clothes that will be out of style by the end of the season. The employees here are really nice too. I found the perfect plush blanket for my bed while Christmas shopping last year, but it didn't have a price tag. I asked a man working there if he could help me. He looked around and compared it to other blankets and asked if $29.99 seemed fair. It really fit the $49.99 category I said. He took it and tagged it for me at $29.99, smiled, and wished me a Merry Christmas. He made my day. I would consider this a medium sized Marshall's. Their selection in all departments is pretty good and there's new stuff all the time.
