Big hats off to ownership Jessica did my nails on 1/31 it's been about two weeks and they still look amazing. I showed her what I wanted. She helped me pick the color out and gave me her input without being pushy at all which I really appreciated. I walked in with some man hands and left feeling like a princess. Jessica took her time cleaning my cuticles and really took care of me. I love when you can tell that the person loves what they do and that HER Lacquer has an extremely friendly staff who is very talented and they take pride in their salon. I left in love with my nails again. I wish I had photos from day one, but the video below shows how long they last and how great they look two weeks later. Love this place! Erschad Akbar is such a welcoming owner -- you can tell he really cares about making sure everyone leaves happy. The vibe is super friendly and comfortable, and it honestly feels like hanging out with friends while getting pampered. Big shoutout to the techs too -- Mertha, Paola, and Ana are the sweetest! I've attended this location in Boca Raton at least 3x now. Servies chosen were gel mani, regular mani, design NexGen mani, and regular Pedi. My review is based on multiple visits to ensure quality. Random information The location of this salon is very hard to get to, so drive slow or you might miss it. It is located in a tight plaza with limited parking. Finding parking hasn't been an issue just something to be aware of. This is a very cute family-owned business. The owner is pregnant so masks are required. While there you can purchase wine and even without it you will have an overall relaxing experience. Manicure Each time I have had a different stylus and I am amazed at the quality. They guarantee their work for a period of time and mine have always lasted much longer. Gel & Nexgen Will last at least 3 weeks without looking like it was done three weeks ago. My nails are so strong and healthy after removing the gel and NexGen. After my 2nd visit, my nails did start to burn with the acetone so be vocal if this happens to you too. Pedicure They offer so many upgrade options and I am excited to try them for a special event. I haven't done any yet, but the regular pedicure is SO relaxing! They do a great job and have lasted in between my visit. I could probably skip this and have it done every other visit. Price Very transparent, they have a website with all their listing and whenever I have gone I have not paid more than what was previously discussed. I do find it to be more than other salons, but the quality of it is like no other. Appointment They are so punctual. I never have had to wait to be serviced. With that said, they do run a tight ship, and booking ahead is key to success. They are constantly booked and very VERY busy. I have gone there 3 times. First time I got a gel pedicure with Mirtha and her work is excellent. I decided to stay and get a manicure, but Mirtha wasn't available so Paola did it (I think that's her name) but I didn't like her work. Very sloppy. The gel was super thick and bumpy and started lifting after one week. She also filed the nail so close to my skin when shaping my nail that she started filing my skin. I went back to have the gel removed and requested Mirtha and once again her work was immaculate. A couple of days ago I went back to have it removed but Mirtha wasn't available for the next week so I selected "any staff" when I made my appointment and ended up getting Paola again...once again, sloppy. Trying to go too fast and clipped some live skin around my nails and hurt me. She also used a file on me she had used on another client!! Glad I noticed and asked her to switch to the drill. Didn't remove all the gel before applying the regular polish, I can see bit of coral peeking through my clear polish..I am not going to go back unless Mirtha is available. 5 stars for Mirtha and 3 stars for Paola.
