I acted like it wasn't a huge deal because whatever, life happens and I am blessed that the amount of money taken doesn't impact me over 10 days. However I simply asked for a discount on my next service and was told no, then old 10%. WOW. Stole $900 for 10 days from me, but cannot offer any type of customer service. Messages attached. Covid measures were good: I had to wash my hands before sitting down, glass in between nail tech and customers, nail tech wore gloves and masks entire time, mask was needed upon entering the salon. Was in town visiting my son and needed my nails done and just some good ole pampering. Came across Mylan Nail Studio which was conveniently located to me and took walk-ins. On a whim, I walked in and Mylan addressed me immediately asking how she could serve me. After determining that she could indeed take me, she had Cassandra take me in and begin preparing me. LSS, Cassandra and Mylan worked together to provide timely and customized service. I will definitely plan to return to Mylan Nail Studio on my next visit to Boca. The nails turned out great but honestly it was the terrible service. I got the nails pictured and it took her an hour and a half to do French. I've been getting my nails done for 4 years and have never had someone go so insanely slow. She asked me very personal questions and even asked me "where is your dad". I then had to explain to her and the entire nail salon since she was so loudly screaming that my father past away. I love getting my nails done, but this is the first time I have ever left my nail appointment crying. I am so sick of going to nail salons who do not respect what I ask for. I came in with a specific request for a white gel pedicure and a white/clear acrylic/gel full set. Right off the bat she kept trying to convince me to do without the white full set because she liked my natural nails... I told her I didn't like my natural nails and had to argue to put tips on. She also refused to give me acrylic and kept telling me dipping powder would be better. I explained to her I have gotten in in the past and NEVER liked it and she did not care and put them on my nails anyway without my permission. I felt so pressured I just let her wanting to trust her. I kept telling her throughout doing my nails I did not like them and she just kept convincing me it was because she was not done. After everything, I HATE my nails. She offered for me to come back and have them fixed but I refuse to go back after I spent 3 LONG HOURS in there and paid over $100 on my day off. I feel so embarrassed about showing my hands as I've always taken pride in having clean nails. I am so tired or salons promoting dipping powder like it's the best the in the market. A word of advice, people have DIFFERENT OPINIONS. Stop forcing your own opinions in to other. I felt super judged and like what I wanted didn't matter or looked good. I made an appointment here after seeing the reviews. Mylan was so sweet on the phone. She made me an appointment with Cassandra for NexGen. Both Mylan and Cassandra were so accommodating and they were great to be around. Honestly, the more I look at my nails, the more I am impressed. Cassandra took such great care in getting the shape and look just as I wanted. This is a small shop so I recommend making an appointment - although, I saw them manage 4 walk-ins when I was leaving and they seemed to have everything well under control. I don't live in boca anymore but I am here often and they are my new go-to for when I am here. read more

Was looking for a clean, friendly and professional place in my area. I was a little worried at first when pulling up in the area, but stepping inside began to quell any worries. Milan greeted us and had a friendly and perky attitude. They use healthy practices with their pedicure tubs (the first time I've seen a place actually use liners for each customer). Very gentle technicians and they are happy to engage customers instead of talking amongst one another. They spent a lot of time tending to us as well! I did not feel rushed in the slightest. I had the gel manicure and a pedicure and my mother had acrylic + gel and a pedicure. A wonderful experience overall. A lovely hole in the wall! I found my new nail salon for sure! read more

Wow found this place on a whim, got an appointment immediately for two pedicures. I dragged my dad who hates pedicures and even he was happy! Casandra took great care of him. The woman who did my nails was Trinh, and she was SO great and meticulous! I had never been here before and it's an adorable gem. The place isn't very nice on the outside. The inside isn't much different either. It's small and doesn't look very clean. I went to get a mani and pedi with my mother and they did not do a good job. The woman who did my mothers nails was sweet and nice but not properly trained on how to do a simple mani and pedi. The guy who did my nails left polish all over my hands and feet. He also cut my cuticles too much and started bleeding on a few of my fingers. I would not recommend this place. read more

My daughter and I rushed out of town before our vacation so we weren't able to go to our regular place in CT. I called around and quickly found that most places in Boca require an appointment and we are used to walking in. After calling around, we figured this out. We almost gave up when I came across Mylan and am so glad we did! This was the first nail studio to actually answer the phone without a voicemail, and we were told that we could come right over. I used my GPS and had passed the nail studio without realizing it. I promptly turned around. It's right next door to a doggie groomer, a great idea if you have a dog, you can drop him/her off while you're getting your nails done. We parked without a problem, the place was bright and clean. They took us immediately, there was a flat screen TV with pandora playing relaxing hits. I noticed right away that Mylan herself was doing my daughter's nails, she was personable, sweet and extremely professional. Her brother (equally professional) gave me a great mani/pedi. They were clean, fast while still relaxing. And, they are the least expensive around. I found out Mylan has been in the business for 26 years along with her entire family. I'm glad we went here, I'm not into paying for a fancy neighborhood or hype, I just want great looking nails and to be relaxed. Our nails look beautiful and we came out so relaxed.
