I came here recently on a whim as I was looking for a place to get sugaring done close by in the Midtown area. I saw ItalWax & Sugaring Studio on my Yelp search and saw all the rave reviews about this place and knew I needed to go here. The appointment was made last minute but Albina was able to accommodate me to go the following day after I messaged her! The reviews were not wrong when they said that Albina is great at what she does.. because she truly is! When I arrived for my appointment, she asked me questions to further clarify what I wanted to get done and throughout the appointment, she made sure I was comfortable and asked if everything was okay. Albina was really amazing! I have tried a few other places before coming here and it was pretty traumatic. My first time here at sugared with Albina, she took her and we got to talking and it didn't hurt as bad as the other places. The prices aren't bad either, especially for the quality of service. Best sugaring place in Manhattan! I've been to a few places over the years, but always ended up with ingrown hair and result didn't last that long. I have a busy schedule, and in sometimes struggled how long it takes to get brazilian, or it was very quick, but results were no good. Albina is that perfect medium of everything - great timing, amazing quality (lasts 6-7 weeks for me now, comparing to 3-4 before), the space is sparkling clean and communication is super easy. I've gone twice and gotten bikini and Brazilian waxes from Albina. She is super nice and professional! It has literally been the least painful Wax experience I've ever had!! She uses hard wax and then sugaring which really helps preventing bumps and ingrown hairs which I am prone too. So happy I found this place and will continue to come here monthly!
